Chase smiled at her reply "Aww thanks..." He said softly. He watched with a smile as she leant forwards to kiss him on the cheek. He smiled, it seemed as if the fight worked slightly in his favour. He had thought that it would ruin everything. Chase suddenly felt guilty again. He wasn't used to girls like Miri. Girls who were kind and sweet and cared about others. Chase couldn't help but feel bad about what he was doing, he never felt like this when he flirts with cheerleaders and preps. But then again, they usually flirt with him too and they are the same as him, making boy fall for them just for the fun and the pure pleasure of it. No, he just couldn't do this with a girl like her, a girl who could be broken so much easier than the others. Smiling sadly, he stood up. "Thanks for coming after me, I needed this talk..." He shuffled his feet awkwardly, "I think I'm gonna and enjoy the party now... I don't think going back in with you will help me get on better terms with Tommy..." Chase walked up to the back door and opened it, before he stepped inside, he turned back and smiled at Miri "I suppose I'll see you around then..." He gave her a quick nod of gratitude before merging in with the crowd.

"Oh, uh, alright," Miri said, trying to hide a bit of disappointment as she waved to goodbye to him. She stifled a sigh and bit her lip, turning away. SHE slowly started to wonder if maybe Tpmmy had a point. Why get involved with someone infamous for hurting girls? They weren't girls like her, but that made her more concerned that she would only hurt worse. She thought Chase was a sweet guy, mayb some unresolved anger issues, but sweet. For all she knew, it could be a little false act. He didn't seem like the type but she had known him for less than an hour.

James McLayne, seventeen years old, grew up pretty quickly in life. From the age of eleven, his older sister having went to college, told him to take care of his family. And so he did. He took full responsibility in every situation, dubbing his mother unfit to do simple tasks such as cooking and cleaning due to her cancer. He made her stay in bed half the time while he got to work. In his free time, he would take his crossbow and hunt in the woods. This is what shaped most of his personality growing up. He learned strategy, how to two a weakness or fault. He also learned to be quick on his feet and silent. He had always been great at collecting information. His vision was perfect, listening skills sharp, and intelligence high. He was always a "sit in the back and try not to be noticed" type of guy, studying every aspect of the people around him. That's what happens when you are a multi-tasker. Overall, James McLayne is one person you don't want to reveal much to. You may regret it in the near future.

lucas was not prepared to answer any questions about what happened between his brother or anything phone related. so when scout shoved lucas' phone back into his hands he stood puzzled and started mentally freaking out. first off what if scout had seen lyra's conversation that he had with her? did scout even unlock the phone or see anything, lucas hadn't changed his password in such a long time and he had never showed it to scout. knowing scout though she most likely memorized it while he was unlocking it to answer a text message. it never dawned on him that scout could have stolen things from him when he wasn't looking, i mean he never thought or even noticed his own phone beining taken from him, right outside of his back pocket too. so as lyra and scout talked lucas tried to match the pieces of puzzle together. many ideas crossed his head, from maybe she wanted to keep it to maybe her mom needed to know where scout was. lucas also started think that maybe scout was so comfortable with him that they maybe didn't have boundaries like that and it made him nervous, but also excited. maybe scout liked him back, she never did say anything to him when he wrapped his arm around her or held her wrist or hand, she was fine with it, or seemed alright with it because she hadn't complained. scout had been friends with lucas for over two years so he wasn't stupid to know that scout said what was on her mind and that she was a total hypocrite at times, but with that lucas also figured out that scout was a complicated person to begin with so maybe all these signs of flirting where just friendship for her, or vice visa. to make matters worse with the whole thing lucas had spotted out yvonne who was talking to someone. wow that was just great, lucas was having relationship problems when his ex-girlfriend was about twenty feet away talking with some other guy that made everything a whole lot better, note the sarcasm.

lionheartrobin had to admit, it was hard to hear with the volume of the music, but what was the point of a party without deafening music. the room felt like a giant oven, it was hot due to the mass about of people, it also didnt smell very nice, "thank god this isnt my house," robin mumbled not intending on anyone to hear. she looked at angus directly in the face and heard his strange words, she certainly hoped he hadnt been serious as she couldnt help chuckle," your refreshment meter is sinking man," she commented before finn leaned to her ear. she heard his words clearly as she smiled , of course finn would have people to see, he had alot more friends than herself. "of course, do your rounds mr. popularity," she joked knowing it would probably push some buttons, but thats what best friends were for.
lionheartrobins attention was now focused on angus as she tried to make out his speech, she was no lip reader after all. she managed to understand his comment about the amount of people at the party, and laughed," my friend, when was the last time you were at a party?" she questioned in a humorous way. robin began to look around, examining the faces of the people, they all seemed to act the same way, if it wasnt for their looks they may aswell have been the same people. robin looked around the house some more, there was a door leading to the backyard, which seemed interesting in some way. "i have a better idea," she said skipping over the drink hunt idea, even though she was dying for a drink, it could wait. grabbing onto angus's arm she pulled him through the tight crowd and into the more opened spaced backyard.
lionheartout the back there was a table and a few chairs, the air was cooler and it smelt alot better. robin began to drag the table over to the outside of the house, once it his the house wall she lifted a chair and aligned it on top. she began to climb, first on the table and then she stood on the chair, giving herself access to the roof. she pulled herself up the finally way and stood up with her arms out to the sky. "join me if you dare," she said cheekily to angus.

Lily sighed and took a breath, she was hiding in the corner of a room at Vegas' party. Parties weren't really her thing, especially not loud parties, especially not Vegas' parties... She currently just felt extremely awkward and out of place. The only reason she had come was because Yvonne had said that she was coming, also her parents had somehow found about about it and had persuaded her to come because they thought she needed to socialize. Lily was not the loudest person in the school and in fact, was probably one of the quietest. Since she was here, she had thought about enjoying herself but she barely knew anyone here and just decided in the end that it was much easier to grab a drink (that was hopefully non alcoholic) and hide in the corner of a room. Most people here would probably be over the moon to have parents who desperately wanted her to go to parties like this and ‘hang out’ with people but she would actually much rather be at home studying or reading… The loud music made her head spin and she was starting to feel dizzy. It had probably been quite a bad idea for her to come… She didn’t belong here… Everyone around her was going crazy and creaming their heads off and whatever. She didn’t know anyone at all and just felt like an outcast… A little nerdy outcast…

James McLayne. A name that nobody knew. Taking care of almost everyone he has known, is what makes him alone. He tries to protect them, and then they just push him out of their life. So, James decided to go to Yvonne's party and try to make friends without trying to be the parent. He has taken care of his mother for almost 6 years now due to cancer and his sister moved on in life. James didn't know how to talk correctly to anyone because he was rather shy. Mostly around girls but also guys.

James didn't belong here at this party. Everyone drinks and smokes. Even has their little "private times" too. He shook out his dusty blond hair and stared at the front of the house, his hands in his front pockets. He couldn't stay long, having to take care of his mother and all. Flipping his phone out of his back pocket, he checked to see if there were any new messages. None. He told his mom that he would be out for a while. About an hour or maybe two. Well, we'll see how well this works out.

Lily sighed and stood up. It was no fun just blending in with the corner of the room. Nobody ever payed any attention to her anyway, she had spent quite some time here so hopefully her mum would let her finish 'socialising' and just let her back into her bedroom to read. Squeezing her way through the noisy, bustling crowd, she finally made it to the front door. Lily quickly pushed open the front door and inhaled a deep gulp of air. Closing the door behind her, she walked forwards not looking where she was going and the second she looked up, she was nearly colliding with a blond haired boy. She skidded to a halt but was slightly too close and bumped into him lightly. Her cheeks immediately flushed a deep pink and she gasped "I'm so sorry! I um wasn't looking where I was going..." she looked up in embarrassment "I hope you're ok..."

James slipped his phone back into his front left pocket and scratched the back of his head. He was about to walk away to his car when a girl bumped into him softly. He looked down at her and saw the flushing of her cheeks. "Oh, erm.. It's fine.. And I'm fine.." he said rather softly, scratching the back of his head nervously.
