Honestly, she would have preferred to be at home in her room, Call of Duty all night long. But, Casey knew that she needed to get out more and at least somewhat attempt to get out and meet the people that she would be attending high school with. As a junior, there wasn't a huge chance that she'd get another shot at making at least somewhat of an attempt at acquaintances so she wouldn't be alone at lunch. That was the least of her worries, but tonight was Casey's aim at making friends, definitely not enemies.
As she came within a close enough distance to see the flashing lights of the party, Casey took one last glance at her outfit. Her top, made of sequins, was already reflecting the sheen of the house, and her black leggings just barely skimmed the top of her heels. In her hands was a black clutch, which held the only thing she needed. Her driver's license. Her phone was stranded somewhere at home, it was pretty low on Casey's priority list, so it definitely didn't come along with her. Ah, stop distracting yourself. Time to go. Keeping her stride powerful and tall, Casey stepped onto the porch and approached the cracked doorway, already hearing the voices and shouts of the party goers. Putting a smile on her face, Casey stepped into the house and instantly, she was bombarded with heavy, pumping bass. Mmm, at least they have good music. Praying that she would at least go somewhat unnoticed until she found the confidence to approach someone, Casey was terrified of all these unfamiliar faces. But, a smile still remained on her face, and she knew how hard it was going to be to get through without someone looking at her funny. Wish me luck.
