"uhhm.." bella bit her lip, she didn't exactly know yet but in reality, she thought so. phillip, stanindg right beside her. "i think." she said and looked around to avoid eye contact with anyone. she wasn't exactly sure, she hoped so though. she then looked back, nervous of saying that outloud she didn't say anything more. she didn't exactly know scout or marceline, but she knew marceline didn't like her, just by the look of her eyes. she ignored her thoughts, and looked around. "i'll be right back." she said and went back to her spot, forgetting her purse. she overheard fay, but ignored. she sat down the wrong way, and looked at her phone. she put it away, and then heard fay and laughed at her wink. "woah! fay! it's okay." she said trying to calm the angered one down. she ran over and winked as she did to her, then she went back as she said she would. she looked down at her shoes, and then back up giving her preppy smile. she then looked at phillip, and smirked again. she shrugged and looked back at the preps' and others table. she looked back in her purse after hearing her phone, she put it back ignoring one of her neighbor hood friends texting her. she didn't have time, plus she took a while to text.

➳iiiiiAs soon as Phillip began to walk towards Scout, he realized that the girl standing next to her was a goth, but Phillip wasn’t aware of her name. That wasn’t something to be surprised by though, since Phillip normally only knew the names of his close friends in school. Other people he referred to them by some physical description. In his head, he predictably nicknamed Blonde Raccoon. A cruel name, he knew, but he didn’t plan on saying it outloud. As he approached, he heard the girl finish talking to Scout, and caught the last snippet of the conversation. To no surprise, it was a snide remark about the popular preppies and plastics. Such a comment didn’t affect Phillip though, since he had heard most of them before. He ignored the comment, deciding not to bring it back up. After a fake greeting by the Blonde Raccoon and an immediate departure, Bella surprised Phillip when she walked up to him. He smiled though, since it was quite a pleasant surprise. He heard her ask what his third period class was, and he responded with a simple word, “History.” He had no interest in his history class, and it was apparent by the way he acted. He mumbled, “I want to skip, but I’ll be screwed if I do.” As the conversation moved on, it went to the upcoming ball. Phillip wasn’t particularly excited for it, but instead he was excited to be going with Bella. It would be their first official “dance” since they started dating, something that Phillip was proud of. With Scout’s question, Phillip nodded adamantly, with no doubt. He was slightly surprised by Bella’s shy response, but he didn’t think much of it. When Bella suddenly left, Phillip took it upon himself to ask Scout a question. “Did you finish that stupid history reading? I don’t know why, I can never focus reading…” He just managed to get that question out before Bella came back. Phillip smiled, looked down at her, and joked, “What took you so long?” His hand slowly crept down her arm to interlock hands yet again. Phillip’s touchy feely personality made him do these things without his own knowledge. It could be a charming factor, or it could also be a creepy factor. Either way, he couldn’t help it.

He watched as others quickly joined the table as it was filling up. He gave Celeste a look over, noting she wasn't in his grade. Probably a junior he noted. "No problem cutie." he winked being flirtatious. He caught a bit of Fay and Celeste's conversation and became alert at the mention of a ball. He couldn't help but grin like a fool. To him this was a perfect chance. He wasn't blind to the fact Arabella liked someone else, but maybe if he asked her she would at least consider his offer. He almost clapped when she admitted to not already having a date. He would have to do something special to ask her, but for now he could always plant the idea of them together in her head.

"A ball huh, I don't have a date either Arabella," he chirped in directing it straight at her. Celeste was pretty and all but Arabella had already caught his eye and it would take a lot of effort on her behalf to change his mind otherwise. He munched away on his chips, waiting for her or someone else to make a comment on his suggestion. If she shot him down he would be surprised. It wasn't like he wasn't up there in popularity. Not to be to hot-headed, but he could easily get a girl at this very moment if he wanted. Of course he didn't want to though.
