The dark elf followed the male out of the sanctuary and she grinned at his comment. "Most enemies are dead even before they draw their sword." Shade said as she pulled out her bow and tested the string on it before returning it to her back. "But when I'm in hand to hand combat I'm normally faster than most becuase I only carry one sword instead of two. It's lighter and easier to control." The dark elf smiled as she looked to M'jhera proudly. Excalibur whinnied at her presence before trotting over to her.

Durak swallows the liquid in one breathe. Some of it spilled down his mouth as he slightly slammed the mug down on the wood. "That was quiet satisfying if I do say so myself." The large orc said as he looked to the Khajiit. "I wish you safe passages, but I must be returning to my stronghold." The male said as he turned around and began to walk toward his horse.

M'jhera nodded approvingly and got a map from his satchel, looking over it quickly. "Well, we're not going to Whiterun just yet. Nazir wouldn't want me to bring you to some kind of dangerous mission so I had to come up with something, but theres a group of bandits nearby that has been harassing the khajiit caravan here so we're gonna bring an end to them and get our bounty from Skald the Elder before going to Whiterun" he said and packed away the map, drawing out his Blackblade in his right hand.

She smiled and nodded. "Okay." Shade said as she jumped onto Excalibur's back. "You should get yourself a horse M'jhera." The elf said with a sly grin. "Where exactly is this bandit camp?" Shade asked as she shifted on the horses back to get more comfortable. The sword laid against his side and her bow was inches from hitting his back. She looked down to the tall khajiit and waited for his answer.

He watched Shade get up on her horse and looked around, trying to figure out where the fastest way to the bandit camp was. He chuckled a little at her comment and shook his head. "These horses aren't strong enough for me, I carry a lot of weight in myself and my armor and these horses lose stamina too fast" he said and started walking back to town and headed for the khajiit caravan. There where fewer there now as it looks like the bandits had been there not long ago. He walked up to one of them and asked what way they saw them go and got a direction to follow. "To the east, okay. Thank you. Safe travels, friend" he said and turned back to Shade. "This way" he said and started walking along the road.

At the time I didnt feel like drinking, since I just made fun of the companions for being drinkers themselves, I sat twiddling some gold coins through my fingers. Watching an waiting. As a hour passed the mysterious Elf made his way towards the big doubled door, I start to almost panic, Crap, I cant loose sight of him.I stood up a bit fast and put my arms on my head to act 'natural'.. maybe a bit too natural... I panicked more since now I could tell hes at least noticed my heavy footing on the wooden floor boards quickly approaching behind him. I knew grabbing him or even putting a hand on him will give me some sort of curse or something, I winced at the thought of it. Instead my gut feeling took over a I walked passed him bumping my shoulder into his arm, almost on purpose.

In the morning the cold crisp air of Windhelm has never changed, it was like needles stabbing into your skin until it became numb, especially when your standing in front the Palace of Kings. I had enough of the cold, wrapping my arms around myself I made my way to Candlehearth Hall. The fire will warm me up.... maybe some mead too.. Almost five minutes later, some of the locals were at it, again. A Dark Elf and a Nord, arguing about not being paid equally. Of course the elves got the short end of the stick, as per usual, so I approached them. They did noticed me at first until I pushed the snobbish Nord out of my way and proceeded to scold him and shoo him off. I looked toward the elf and handed him a bag of gold septims, about 20 in the bag. "Here." I said dropping the bag into his worn out hands. His face brightened, and he thanked me before he ran off to what seemed like his wife and two kids. I sighed and continued on, I hated how prejudice almost all Nords are. I pushed opened the big doors to the Inn and found myself a spot by the open fire, I sat there and stared into the fires embers and flames for what seemed like a hour.

Shade nodded. "I suppose you are right but I've seen some pretty hardy stallions and mares before. I've also seen several.. beastly horses that arnt exactly horses, that I'm sure would be able to hold you. Or maybe you could choose a different armor set, one to make you lighter and quicker on your feet." The elf suggested though she knew he'd probably say no. Her red eyes were the most prominent feature of her face she had becuase her dark skin blended in with her Nightingale armor. She looked down to the caravan and directed her horse accordingly. Leading Excalibur with a slow walk to stay next to male. "I was part of a bandit group when I was very young.." she said out loud but her expression was blank. Her thoughts sometimes took over her mind and she wasn't able to stop what flew out of her mouth.

M'jhera looked up at Shade and lifted an eyebrow. "Really? Here in Skyrim?" he asked, thinking of her suggestion of different armor. But he was quite happy with his heavy armor, it was handmade for him by a friend and had saved him from many maces and sworgs swung at him with great force by great warriors. Thinking about it, he wanted to pay him a visit in Solitude if he got the time.

Shade nodded. "Yes, though they're quite rare here in Skyrim. They're mainly found with orcs in their strongholds." The elf turned to M'jhera. "I heard that an orc stronghold not far from Dawnstar has a beast horse. I've herd his name is Abraxas." She said with a smile. Though it maybe true it could also be just some rumor. Excalibur whinnied slightly as his ears swiveled in all directions and Shade's attention quickly turned to him. "What is it boy?" She asked as she stroked his mane, but he calmed down just moments after.

The khajit's ears perked to different directions as well and he stopped walking, sniffing the air slightly. "Get off your horse, the bandits are nearby" he said and walked off the road and into the bushes on the side and followed the road a bit further. A short moment after, chatter was heard in the distance and M'jhera crouched down. "If you manage to hit one of the guys in the front with your bow, we will get their attention. I will try to talk to them, but if that fails be ready to attack, alright?" he said and looked over at her, putting his sword away and waiting for her to aim at one of the bandits before they walked too far.
