Soushi;Deity of Lost and Stolen technology

Soushi listened to her story in captivated silence, though occasionally his eyes shifted to ensure that nobody was listening in on something that was obviously so deeply personal. To him it didn't seem like a happy memory at all, but he had come to understand that humans could be overwhelmed by their emotions rather easily. Though that wasn't to say that he was some impenetrable wall, he felt things, albeit in small amounts. Her story did touch him, he felt certainly sympathetic towards her.
He was able to recognise the look she gave him, he knew she needed a hug but a mental block caused him to hesitate and stop. Gingerly he reached out to pet her hair, and after a moment of that he leaned forwards and snaked his arms around her, once more pulling her to his form "Sorry..." He apologized for being hesitant in the hug, then tried to cover it up. "I'm sorry that you have to lose someone who clearly meant so much to you, I hope one day you can find him again..." This 'T' seemed like the ultimate 'boy next door' to him.
He gave her back a gentle little rub, trying to comfort her as he pulled back to look at her "Are, you okay?" he asked, not wanting her to get halfway through her next sentence then break down into tears. He was starting to care about her welfare, which confused him a little. "You feeling okay?"

At-first, when Sachiko felt Soushi pat her hair, she couldn't help but hold back a laugh. It was like he was treating her like some sort of fragile human being, or, rather, some sort of household pet. She was about to comment on it until she found herself being enveloped in Soushi's arms, a warm fire igniting within her heart at his touch. Even though his hands were cold, his touch molded perfectly well with her warm heat. As he pulled her taut against his tall frame, she felt herself wrapping her arms back around him, enjoying the feel of him against her. She let out a shaky breath, hiding her face in his big coat which smelled of bits of metal and other such scents. She shook it off, no matter how sensitive her nose was. It was probably his ample change and phone. "You don't have to apologize..." Sachiko found herself saying to his apology, breathing in his scent. Once she got over the metal, she could smell a whiff of some sort of fruit. It was faint, but it was there. Peach? Guava? It smelt almost like nothing; like air. She wasn't sure what the scent was, but she found that she liked it. It smelled slightly homey, in a way, but it felt like there was some sort of absence within it. What was missing? She couldn't decipher it. "... oh, thanks, Soushi." she whispered, holding him a bit closer to her. Her heart had started to slowly mend itself after those years of not seeing "T", and she could feel her heart opening up to another. Soushi. But she couldn't tell for sure... "T" still held a definite place in her heart. "That means a lot to me, thank-you." Who knew that Soushi could be so caring? She didn't mean it in a harsh way, most certainly not. She knew that he wasn't all that cold and cocky as when she had first met him (crazily enough, just a few hours ago), but it just surprised her that he was capable of such... warm and comforting emotion. It was nice. She could get used to it, definitely, if he so chose to keep in-touch.
As he rubbed her back, Sachiko felt herself fall into a lull; comforted and content with his soothing touch. She would've purred if she was a cat (ironic, considering the fact that Soushi had petted her head just a minute or two ago). As he pulled back to look at her, Sachiko quickly blinked back the tears that were threatening to fall. She was touched by his somewhat... affectionate behaviour. She nodded her head, giving him a smile that brightened her eyes a little. "Yes, and yes." She found herself giggling slightly, warmed by his concern. "Thank-you, Soushi." she said, completely genuine. She looked right into his eyes as she said this, tilting her head to the side a little in a cute manner. "Who would've known that you're such a sweet-heart." she smiled, teasing him a little as she brought her right arm out from behind him and poked his chest. "But I don't mind it at all." she said softly, dropping her eyes to stare at his chest, biting her lip a little. Did that sound like some sort of love admittance? Gosh, she hoped not. She didn't even know if she liked Soushi that way, for goodness sakes'!
It didn't go unnoticed by Sachiko that she was fully aware that people were probably staring and whispering about her and Soushi, but, quite frankly, she couldn't care less. She just didn't want to make the area uncomfortable for others, so she planned to tone down the open feelings (if she could call it such) until they were in a bit more of a private space.

Soushi;Deity of Lost and Stolen technology

Soushi had been slightly alarmed when he was hugged in return, he simply wasn't expecting much reciprocation. But he found that he liked it, he liked it a lot. Sachiko was warm, soft and so wonderfully feminine. She was practically his opposite, she just seemed naturally caring, motherly. She was what humans should be, a prime example, and if he trying to learn from them -which he most certainly was not- then she would be the best teacher he could ask for. Something to soothe his kleptomania and relatively grumpy demeanor.
He resented the fact that she'd called him a sweet-heart. Probably because he saw himself as anything but, in his mind he was some force to be reckoned with, he was crude, witty and had offensice tendencies. For him to be clumped together with the word 'sweet' left a bad taste in his mouth. However, rather than state such things like he would have in any other situation, he looked down at his chest when he was poked (realizing it was rather bony) and tilted his head inquisitively "You don't mind?" he questioned. Of course, he'd never tried just being nice before, but was under the assumption if he tried after acting this way for so long the humans he did have regular contact with would start saying things about 'new leaves' and change or comment on his mental state. Just things he didn't really have time for.
"Don't get used to it, I'm not some walnut with a hard shell and a soft center. You looked like you needed this and I'm to understand you give one when someone looks a bit down..." he replied after his moments thought, he was smiling however, albeit only a little one. Partly because he found himself quite happy in such a position, and partly because he knew Sachiko liked it when he was smiling at her. He gently squeezed her, though couldn't fathom what made him do such a thing then also noticed how they'd been turning heads and sparking little whispers from those surrounding them. He would try to scale it back a little, if only for the sake of remaining undercover.
Thank you! I think it's cute too!
This post is a bit...bad, and probably hard to respond to, my sincerest apologies.

She shook her head. "I don't mind," she said, replying to his question that needed a little bit of reassurance.
She giggled at his attempt for trying to hide his softer side with an excuse about not being "some walnut with a hard shell and a soft centre". "You're funny... you can tell me all that you want that you're not one, but I won't believe you. I really do think that you can be this really nice guy underneath all this... 'tough stoic guy' exterior." She grinned, noticing his little smile when he had made himself a comparison to a walnut- she had argue, though, this guy was anything but a walnut. She was thinking of his brain size at this point, and she was more than positive that his brain was not the size of a walnut. He seemed quite smart, too, and so she figured that his brain was a nice, proportionate size, and that it was filled with all sorts of neat interesting ideas, words, and facts. Of course, there was more in that brain of his, but she was just going for the general aspect of it.
Shaking her head of thoughts of Soushi's brain, she beamed up at him. "Thank-you for giving me this hug, Soushi. I really appreciate it; it made me feel... warm and happy, y'know?" She blushed a little, but it quickly faded. She might as well be honest with him, as she felt that he could read her like an open book- and that wasn't always the greatest thing.
She didn't know why, but she had this lingering feeling that she'd be quite terrible at poker- her poker face? Probably non-existent. She'd be out before she knew it.
She nodded her head, laughing softly. "Yes, it's definitely a nice gesture to give someone a hug when they're feeling down. Just as long as they return the hug, then you know that they're alright with it. Which, clearly, I was alright with, now, wasn't I!" She smiled, showing her teeth.
Finally letting go, as it seemed as if they'd been holding each other for hours, Sachiko immediately missed his warmth but quickly shook it off. She probably just needed to dress warmer next time.
She noticed that they were moving a bit quicker with the line as the rain continued to pour down from the sky. It appeared that the stall manager was urging people to go faster, as people were getting restless and, in some cases, leaving the line and moving to find another game tent that had a shorter line, or a line that moved quickly and efficiently.
She couldn't see much of anything in-front of her, being not so tall and all, so she lightly tugged on Soushi's jacket. "Hey, do you know how many more people we're behind now? It feels like it's been a century, or something." she said, biting her lip.
She was all of a sudden anxious to make like a tree and leave the festival; she wanted to spend some more time with Soushi with just the two of them, and not have little kids and adults gawking at them for hugging longer than usual. She'd rather just walk around with him somewhere; perhaps get a light snack before departing their separate ways. Would they exchange phone numbers? That'd be nice; for she'd be able to contact him if he allowed it. She'd love to stay in-touch with him; he made good company (once she ignored his bluntness and rudeness).
(( Urgh short Post :< I'm sorry about that!

Soushi actually almost envied those who were brave enough to leave the line and risk judging looks in order just to do something other than stand around. His legs were beginning to ache, but he decided against complaining, it would be okay in the end. "Theres only around five or six, I think." He answered, having to stand on his tip toes for the first time in a while, his thick skinned boots actually making it hard to do so.
"If...you needed to stretch your legs we can come back later." He suggested, trying his best not to let his own wishes seep into his tone. He didn't want to risk upsetting her (For whatever reason) by making her feel he didn't want to play anymore. Your own body is just difficult to ignore, even if you are a god, and do not necessarily need it. He took a moment to lean away from her and shake a few droplets from the fur that lined his hood. The rain was still light but had managed to build up and start falling onto his face, a most unpleasant feeling. "Actually I'm not sure it's a great idea to stay outside in the rain like this, the fine light kind tends to soak you through and give you a cold." Of course, he wasn't speaking from experience but apparently colds were common, and he presumed that, like everyone else, Sachiko didn't want one.
But he could certainly understand if she was going to stick it out and remain here, she seemed like the sort who wasn't easily deterred. Especially not by a little standing around. He could admire that at least, he tended to chose the easiest way, the way that involved the least work. It might do him some actually good to be around a person who would drag his morale up a little.
It's fine, don't you worry!

"Oh, it'll be fine." She looked up at him, noticing him shaking off the rain droplets that had fallen and stuck onto his hood. "Unless you want to move to someplace warm? I don't need to wait for this; just thought that it'd be a fun game to try." And also a good game to test his competitiveness, she thought smugly, a smile trying to seep a way through her lips. But if he didn't want to get sick, and if he got a cold easily, then she would definitely move to someplace warm and dry. She didn't want her selfish actions to be the cause of a possible case of sniffles, a running nose, and coughs. That just was not the life that one wanted during a festival like this.
It was good that there weren't very many more people in the front, so the wait wouldn't be too too long, but she was feeling a bit concerned in-terms of the weather. It really was starting to pour down; perhaps they should move to a tea shop or something nearby, or back to her place to escape the oncoming downpour that would soon drench all of the people within the festival. The tents could only hold up for so long until they drooped down to the middle to rest lightly on the owner of the stall's head. Thinking about this, she decided to voice her thoughts out loud to Soushi, and to see what he thought of her plan after the game. "Since it's starting to rain pretty hard, do you want to go back to my place after this game? Or to a local tea shop or something to escape the rain? We've already been standing here for a little while; we might as well wait it out, play the game, then head somewhere. The rain is kinda putting a damper on the whole festival experience... the pun wasn't intended." She added at the end, noticing what she had said for a light smirk. "Does that sound okay?"
While waiting for his answer, the line moved up one, so that meant that there were just a few more people to go before they were to play the game. Sachiko adjusted her jacket closer to her body, trying to warm herself up. Wouldn't it be nice to have Soushi hug her from behind to warm her up, his mouth at her ear as he just breathed, keeping her all toasty warm... hold up! Where were these thoughts coming from? And with Soushi, of all people?! Sachiko quickly shook the thoughts out of her head, blushing profusely. Soushi was not her boyfriend, so she certainly should not be imagining something as intimate and comfy as that, and she shouldn't be so greedy as he had just hugged her... right?

Soushi had also begun to notice that the atmosphere around them was beginning to 'dampen' as she put it. Normally these things were filled with noise and light and colour, and to his chagrin children were often running around screaming and laughing. But there was a quiet, grey hue over everything, everyone, as the rain ate away at there good mood and festive vibes. He wouldn't admit it, but now even he was beginning to feel a little deflated, his coats usually waterproof material was growing heavy with the water it contained and the fur on his hood stuck out at odd angels, the outer ones dripping occasionally.
All he could do was eagerly agree with her proposal, nodding briskly "Why don't we do both?" He asked, "If thats not too cheeky, or creepy,of me?" He added as an after thought, an innocent musk falling into his voice. Though he was quite sure Sachiko had already figured him out. "I just mean, We can stop off for a quick tea then continue at your home..." He clarified, almost sounding, what was it? Nervous? Perhaps it was the prospect of meeting her grandparents again, they were lovely people and he was quite sure given time, that he could come to like them and them like him.
What was he talking about? 'Given time?' He wasn't here to play games and meet girls he had work to do! Somehow, Sachiko's company had totally distracted him from the buzzing and constant noise of phones in his ears, he still couldn't hear it right now as a matter of fact. Perhaps it was just such a welcome relief from the stress that he hadn't wished to hear them again. Maybe just today it would be okay to take a break, hedonist that he was, he couldn't just ignore the way his inner core wanted her attention, her to laugh at his jokes and smile when he made her happy. Perhaps it was time for his lonely existence to end.

Sachiko's eyes widened at Soushi's answer, then she giggled softly. "It's not creepy, or cheeky," she grinned. "We can definitely do that, and I could also pick something up for my family for them to eat if they're still awake, or they can eat it in the morning." She nodded. "Yeah, let's do that." Her heart started to beat just a little faster, thinking of getting to spend more time with him. In all honesty, she didn't want him to go just yet, because she didn't know when she'd see him next. What a turn of events; to meet this guy who was so cocky that frustrated her to no end to end up spending time with him and actually conversing with him civilly. But this was what life was; things were tough but turned out better in the end.
Their patient waiting worked out, as the next few people in-front of them cleared out quickly. Within some number of minutes, the two of them were at the front of the line, ready to play the game. The rain was still pouring down at this point, the pitter-patter quite evident on the roof on the tent. It felt like the roof might fall down on them, it was raining that hard.
The stall owner greeted them lightly; telling them the instructions to play the game. He then stepped back for the two of them to play their game.
Sachiko looked at Soushi, a grin on her face. "You ready?" she asked, stance posed for competition.

Soushi padded after her, seemingly much more content and docile than he had been this morning, perhaps she was having a calming effect on him, one that he found himself actually quite liking. It was refreshing to let his shoulders collapse and his mind relax. Especially in the company of someone he was finding to be at least, his intellectual equal. Sachiko was just as witty as him and it was actually quite nice.
He listened intently on the instructions, his calm nature soon smoothing itself away as the competitive spark wormed it's way back into his eyes, the honey colours of his iris' growing bright with his fierce want to win. He couldnt recall the last time he had this much interest in a human activity, of course, usually his human activities consisted of the mandatory bodily maintenance that humans thought necessary for their social conventions. He was just glad Sachiko seemed to like him, and wasn't visibly bothered by his skinny frame and sour personality.
"Course I'm ready!" Soushi replied, his tone as cocky and pleased with it'self as ever. He gratefully accepted the paper net given to him and moved over to look down into one of the tanks, white and gold fish circling below him. "Are you?"
Im pretty sure it was one of those were you have to catch a certain amount of fish with paper?
Sorry this is also pretty short. I'm a little tired.
