Name: Sverdar Al'Verth, or just Sev
Age: 23
Gender: Male
Appearance:
SevSev stands at just over of six feet, and is solidly built of lean muscles honed his entire life. His hair falls well past his shoulders, and is pitch black in color, and naturally shot through with red highlights. His eyes are the same shade of red, and unwavering. He wears clothing that is close-fitting and sturdy in nature, when not wearing his armor. If he isn't wearing his armor, he often is wearing clothes of strengthened leather.
War Piece: Sev's War Piece is a unique weapon named Răzbunare. His War Piece is a sword seemingly made of a single piece of metal, one that he never has to sharpen or worry about shipping or marring in any fashion. The sword is straight, with both of the true and false edges being sharpened. The guard forms back in sharp angles, offering surprising protection to Sev's hand. Along the blade runs intricate designs, which will glow with energy as Sev uses the power from his War Piece.
Blessing: When being wielded, Răzbunare allows Sev to manipulate the kinetic energy within an area around him. This allows him to either enhance or dampen the kinetic energy around him, to the point where he can initiate or completely cancel the energy as well.
This blessing isn't all-powerful and perfect, however. Sev might be able to stop or slow a hurdling bolder when he uses his powers, but as soon as he stops and isn't fighting or otherwise engaged, his body undergoes the strain as if he has slowed or stopped the boulder on his own. This won't break, strain, or otherwise majorly harm Sev, but this does create excruciating pain, and tremendous fatigue as his body believes it tried to stop a freakin' boulder.
Curse: Sev's curse is two-fold, mirroring his War Piece. First off, to use his abilities, it not only takes energy from Sev to enact the maintain the power, but it also draws on his very life-force to do so. In other words, for Sev to use his power, he whittles away at his own life, literally. The more energy he uses, the greater the loss of his life.
The second part to his curse is that his life, and energy, are tied to his brother's. However, they aren't just connected, they literally share the same energy and life-force. It's not unlike having a pool of energy, and two streams drawing upon the same pool. Whatever wound Sev receives, is also inflicted upon his brother. As his brother uses his powers, Sev's own life, as well as his brother's, are drained away. This does not allow for healing between the two; if one is healed, the other does not receive the same effects.
History: Sev and his brother were born into this world under fortunate circumstances, twins in every possible aspect, except one: where Sev was hearty and healthy, Sin was frail and often sick. Their parents were wealthy, and in an affluent region of the world. The two were, drolly expectedly, inseparable and seemed to be the same person in two bodies rather than two separate entities. At a startling young age, this was all torn asunder for them, as they were given their War Pieces at ages drastically young, even for those chosen by the Everlasting. The drastic powers that now were at their grasp were so far out of control, that now all that remains of their home, and several kilometers around, is a giant crater in the face of the planet, the land extending further outwards, and within, as barren as the surface of the moon. Left with no family and no home, the two brothers were thrust into the world alone, and have since grown and mastered the powers granted to them, and realized the terrible burden they now carry.
Personality: Sev is a very straightforward and set sort of person. Each of his words and movements are precise and exact, and as solid as the gaze he levels to those around him. The aura about him is enough to command the attention of people, just from walking into a room or speaking. There is a gravity to his words that makes him seem eerily set and prepared in anything he does. Others might be comfortable in their body and confident in life, but Sev makes them seem frail and frighteningly uncertain in comparison. He is not without personality, however. He has an easy smile that often rests upon his lips, and a warm tone for anyone who he speaks with. Caring and protective, Sev puts others before himself in nearly everything he does. He has a sharp wit and sarcasm that can range from warmly teasing to sharply biting. Very much a man of his words, if Sev says something, he will do everything in his power to make it so.
Other: Life mantra: "This world is a dangerous place to live; not because of the people who are evil, but because of the people who won't do anything about it."

Name: Terucin Al'Verth, or just Sin
Age: 23
Gender: Male
Appearance:
SinSin is identical to Sev in every respect, except where Sev's hair and eyes are red, Sin's are a royal purple instead. He wears light and loose clothing, usually custom made robes, intricately crafted and designed as Sev's armor is. Around his neck hangs a unique locket, which serves as the container or Revanşă, his sentinel War Piece. He has the same unwavering gaze as Sev, but where his brother is solid and immovable once set, Sin seems to emanate raw power and gives of a sense of not being entirely of this existence, almost above it in a fashion.
War Piece: Sin's War Piece is known as Revanşă. It is a sentinel of strange design. Formed of an unknown metal, Revanşă is shaped like an oriental dragon. As the War Piece moves, it seems to be made out of liquid or living material, rather than solid metal. The body and accents of the War Piece are a royal dark blue, on the fringe of being black in color. The head is composed of the same metal, but dark gold and silver in color instead. The eyes glow a burning red when Revanşă is active. The entire structure is made out of such minute and profound details that it gives every appearance of being a living creature. He is normally encased in the locket that Sin wears, flowing and condensing down to fit within the confines provided.
Blessing: Revanşă allows Sin to tap into the chaos around him,and wield it as he sees fit, seemingly rewriting or creating the laws of the world. This can be as simple as allowing Sin to create balls of fire that he hurls forth, or he can cancel gravity within a given area, or even cause a condensed hurricane to form and sheer his opponents apart. The options are limited only to Sin's imagination, and how much of his life he is willing to throw away to accomplish what he wishes.
His sentinel acts as a conduit between the chaos and the realty in which Sin inhabits. As such, Sin must be in direct contact with his War Piece to use his powers to their full extent. If not in contact, Sin can still use his abilities, but at a drastically reduced rate and capacity, and only while in close proximity of his War Piece; the further away they are, the less Sin can do, until he is completely powerless. At the cost of great strain and energy, Sin can summon his sentinel back to him, regardless of the distance between them, but the further away they are, the greater the strain which starts off steep.
Curse: Sin's curse is not unlike gripping an edged blade with your bare hand with all your strength as you dangle over infinity, held up only by this keen blade. His body is extremely frail, to the point where if he were to trip and fall, he risks serious injury to his body. He has low stamina, virtually no strength to speak of, and is physically inferior to all but the very elderly. Uses of his powers tire him drastically, and cause migraines to sever that they limit his ability to even see or focus on anything.
Just as his brother, Sin has the same second part to his curse as Sev. He shares in the same energy and life-force as his brother, and if one is wounded, the other is as well. This is especially critical to Sin, as any wound Sev receives and could shrug off, threatens Sin exponentially more, even from simple cuts and bruises, which might turn into severed tendons or crushed body parts on Sin's part.
History: Sin and his brother were born into this world under fortunate circumstances, twins in every possible aspect, except one: where Sev was hearty and healthy, Sin was frail and often sick.
Personality: Sin's power cloaks him, giving a palpable air of intensity to him wherever he goes. If a bodybuilder could take his immense strength and make it exert itself upon the very existence around him, it would still seem pale and a sham compared to Sin. The raw energy and power that surrounds him doesn't so much seem to emanate from him, as it simply defines reality and is a fact rather than energy rolling from his body. His expression is often that of amusement for that which he gazes upon, as an artist might when reflecting on what they have created. He keeps his emotions in strict control at all times, as a flicker of annoyance timed wrong can unravel reality as he might whim. Like his brother, Sin is very warm and caring in his words and actions. He is protective of others, and will do all he can in acts of selflessness. Where Sev is sarcastic, however, Sin is simply joking and light-hearted.
Other: Once quoted saying, "You simply follow the laws of this universe; I
am the laws."
"Life's but a walking shadow, a poor player that struts and frets his hour upon the stage, and then is heard no more:
It is a tale told by an idiot, full of sound and fury, signifying nothing."
"Life is as tedious as a twice-told tale,
Vexing the dull ear of a drowsy man."
"And this our life, exempt from public haunt, finds tongues in trees, books in the running brooks,
Sermons in stones, and good in everything."
