((Bahamut: Please be patient. When I made my character, I mentioned I have full time college and part time work. I don't have the luxury of posting every day. In fact: It is unlikely I will be able to post Mondays through Thursdays, as I have school those days, and nearly always have work right after. All I can do today is get on, read the posts, and plan mine for later.

I might be able to post tonight. Please wait.))

(I understand, I work part/full time at least four days a week. Also, I'm sorry, I don't recall you posting anything about being college. If your college is anything like mine was I feel for you.)

So, so sorry I disappeared. Schoolwork hath been draining my will to live.))

Leviathan~ wrote:Torun...

Torun watched the golem burn and considered sheathing Lockbreaker, but the sword's thirst for destruction suggested the fight was not yet over. As the flames began to die away from the burning crusade the nymph had thrown out, the golem managed to stand yet again. It's body was black from the flames, but it seemed as though it was beginning to recover. Golems weren't known for regenerating, but there were some who could from what he'd seen. Lockbreaker took a slash at his leg and missed, so he figured he should probably end this swiftly. "I'd let you handle the rest but I think you'd take down the forest with you. If you'll excuse me." Without really waiting for a reply Torun shot off towards the golem, Lockbreaker pointed to the ground, gently dragging the earth apart as the warrior sped in for the kill. The energy that surrounded Lockbreaker's blade began to pulse and fire off like wicked fireworks into the air. The golem raised its arms to intercept the blow and Torun stopped just short of contact point and swung up. The chaotic power of Lockbreaker assaulted the golem like a flood of lava, covering it and tearing it apart bit by bit, shredding into the stone and turning what was a beast into a hill of pebbles. The moment the golem was confirmed to be down Torun sheathed Lockbreaker and with a loud click the world shot back into silence. He noticed that Lockbreaker had managed to get a good slash on his calf, but the adrenaline had numbed the pain for him. "Ow."

Fuyuki Koizumi
Male / 17 / Sentinel / Single
Kaji crossed her arms, making the gesture much more dramatic than necessary, "Gimme a woodland golem any." She seethed out under a smoky breath, "I can control my flames much better than you'd think." The nymph added before being shaken into a frozen state, her senses becoming acute and almost painful for the small creature.. The crackling of her fire silenced and her form flittering in the light breeze as the chaotic power from the sword rammed throughout the trees, jostling her state of mild fear at the atmosphere the War Piece created. Barely registering the strangers movements, the fire nymph's crimson eyes were trained deliriously on the giant weapon, her mouth agape in shock. "That's..." She trailed off in a quiet voice, feeling as though her throat was being stuffed with raw and brutal energy.
A shake of the lighter by an equally awed owner shook the sentinel from her trance like state and she began to crackle and spit of licking flames once more. The whites of her eyes clouded against the blood red iris' and she turned to look at Fuyuki, "Did you-?" She was cut off as the raven quickly flicked the lid down. Effectively smothering her. "I felt it." He murmured under his breath, holding the metal case close as Kaji swirled out in a mist of smoke to glare a heated gaze at her owner for interrupting her. But it was all in a protective manner from the teen's point. That's something serious, he thought to himself, gaze locked on the pulsing weapon as orange mist of power encased and billowed at it's surroundings, almost tangible. Only casting a glance at the now motionless pebbles, Fuyuki gulped audibly, forcing out a shuddered breath and relaxing his shoulders. He remained in his place however, not daring to move when the sword was still drawn. The heterochromic teen perked up at the hissing from the man and he let out a weak sigh, "You mind sheathing that thing?" He asked aloud, hearing his voice wavering he stifled a flinch at his cowardice.

((He already sheathed it but I'll let that slip go, Saki. Try to be a little more active, if you have to cut down the post a hair to make up for it that's fine but I'd hate for you to fall too drastically behind. Setsuna that looks much better thank you, feel free to jump in with anyone who's got space.))

Torun...

Torun looked over at the boy and his nymph and sighed. He saw the absolute shock on their faces. He was quite accustomed to people being rather displaced by Lockbreaker. The sword had an angry soul, and those who it didn't trust knew fully well that being in its presence was dangerous. After many years Lockbreaker had finally stopped intentionally assaulting him. When he first drew the blade the first thing it ever went for was him, but now it had learned friend from foe and the only wounds Torun received were ones even the sword could not control. Its power was intentionally chaotic, not meant to be refined and precise. That way its attacks were unpredictable, they had no pattern or style. The warrior winced and took some weight off his injured leg. "Your obsession with legs this month has not been fun, old friend." he whispered to the blade. While most would hear nothing, Torun did notice a small apologetic hiss from the blade. That was enough for him to feel a little better. "Put your candle friend away there twinkle-toes, and for God's sake close your mouth. You look like you saw The Everlasting in full form." he said, walking back towards them with a light limp. The cut stung as the chaotic energy realized this was not a target and fled the wound, but it was still a cut worthy of acknowledgement. He'd have to bandage it after he knocked some sense back into the sentinel-holder.

Ixion...

Ixion hadn't seen head nor tail of anyone besides Mikael, who he really wasn't interested in killing, so by the time he returned back to his little basecamp he'd caught a few rabbits and Mikael had collected firewood and stones. He noticed Lance had already returned and just sort of nodded, taking the materials Mikael had collected before proceeding to start up a fire. He let the sentinel go about its business starting to stack the large logs they'd found into a suitable structure while he prepared the fire, acknowledging Lance as a person who was in fact there and allowed to be there but not making conversation, seeing as that he couldn't even hear himself.

Ardeia...

Dei lifted an eyebrow at the inquiry of the dainty spear-lady. "You know for someone who tries to give off an air of confidence and strength, you don't seem to know many of the cardinal rules of survival here." she said with a plain stare. She normally didn't like being this grouchy but as far as she knew now she wasn't going to be getting the spears she needed and she wasn't going to be eating anything properly cooked tonight so her mood had been severely drowned. She considered just going for the throat, but she was stupid enough to not pay attention to the fact that her thoughts were impacting Talas Plime, and she was oblivious to the fact that a razor-sharp icicle had begun to protrude from under her sleeve, readying itself for the imminent stabbing that Dei hadn't really planned out.

If only it were a fair fight.

Lance stood up and sighed. Sonce the stone man was around he guessed that Ixion wouldn't be able to understand him anyway seeing as he said he couldn't speak like that anyway. He watched the golem work for a bit before deciding to assist in the building, going along with how the structure was forming and being shaped by the other busy worker.

To say Eden was less than amused was a huge understatement, rather the girl's comment had poked a very huge hole into her pride. That was something the noble would not easily let slip. She didn't try to give off an air of confidence, it was her natural state of being. She always gave off that air without any trying involve and to imply otherwise was ridiculous.

"My apologies for breaking one of your cardinal rules, but you have no need to be so concerned for me. I was simply attempting to be polite, besides I always prefer to know the name of the person who is intending on attacking me that way I can hunt them down later if they escape." She gave a dainty shrug as if it was a perfectly natural thing to say but her eyes were ice cold. Cardinal rules or not, this world was one she had survived in this long and her survival had nothing to do with whatever rules the girl spoke of.

"If anything you really should be more careful not to reveal the tricks you've got up your sleeve. That is what will get you hurt." A single brow arched mockingly as her eyes darted to the glint of ice dipping out of the woman's sleeve.

"That's odd." Matt mused, wondering why Roxy was often chased by monsters, while he most often fought other humans. In fact, one of the reasons he hadn't been able to identify the cerberus was because it just wasn't something he'd ever even encountered before. Unlike Roxy, who was still treating the fight with the three headed beast like it was an everyday occurrence. He shook his head. "No, I'm alright. I can walk, I'll be able to fight soon too, if need be." Auran Guard did sap his health, yes, but it was a very slow sap that was barely noticeable outside of battle. And his natural vitality could restore his health with a good night's sleep, easily.

He walked off a few steps, then walked back to where Roxy was. "...Do you remember which way the nearest town is? When I was fighting that guy before, I wasn't watching where I was going."

(@Leviathan~: Thank you for accepting me :D)

Sapphire

The chains shone, reflecting the vague lights hanging in the atmosphere, the star-shaped ends slashing and slicing off barks of trees, the blue of the said ends turning and flashing like blue gems. Sapphire instructed Forsaken to focus itself on another tree, the chains arced from its former position before clashing to the tree. There was a moment of silence before the tree fell, barks flying, leaves dancing and that just leaves the small sad stump.

VRRRRRRRRR...!

The silver chains were pulled back, making the sounds of metal grinding on each other. It returned to its original length, innocent. Sapphire landed on the ground, dusts flying in the air as she descended. The woman looked back to see the damage she bestowed before starting to the exit, the silver rose and thorns pattern glossily beaming, bedecked with the nebulous lights.

Ardeia...

Dei blinked before she winced, realizing the mistake that she'd made. "Ah well, you were foolish enough to let it sit without taking action once you noticed hostility. Your loss." she mused, stepping out to begin to circle the dainty spear-wielding woman. It was apparent that as she continued to move she appeared to be sweating profusely. At an alarming rate she was soaking wet, but in reality it was Talas Plime collecting water from the air for her to user. Thankfully enough there were advantages to having a messy heap of thick brown hair. A bead of water dripped off of her nose and her eyes glinted with an analytic ferocity. One of them would have to make a strike or else they'd be bantering like kind the whole day long. Hostility had been established, it was just a matter of time before one of them had to snap into action, attempt to catch the other off guard. She wasn't quite sure who it'd be just yet, but she kept herself prepared for either outcome.

Ixion...

Ixion was minding his own business working before Mikael alerted him to something. The sentinel, who could sense vibrations in the earth, had felt a tree fall nearby. His eyes quickly found a culprit, a woman strolling away as if nothing had happened. Mikael told Ixion that either way, investigating would mean either free wood or the chance of catching their new companions bounty. Ixion drew his bow and waved at Lance before pointing towards the figure in the distance, hoping that his mortal eyes could at least spot the shadow as he and Mikael moved after it. Moving quietly Ixion positioned himself behind a tree and let Mikael go forward. The sentinel approached the woman quietly, but not very subtly, his massive stature making it impossible to seem stealthy, it was miracle enough that his footfalls didn't cause a ruckus. The man of stone stood in front of the woman and simply stared at her, seeing as that he couldn't speak and waving might suggest he was swinging his arms at her. All in all Mikael was oblivious to how intimidating he would look as a random giant stone creature appearing from nowhere.

((I'll drop Setsuna into this so we can include her until we get some more people Furenzied, hope that's okay))

Roxanne...

Roxy blinked. "Y'know I don't quite remember, but I think if we just head west for a few miles we should hit one of the major roads, we can ride that until we find some sort of settlement." she suggested, scanning the area for any sign of human marking, finding none. She wasn't exactly an expert tracker, she was much more accustomed to just following the wind and going wherever the next danger took her. She wondered how long it'd be before The Everlasting decided to pay her a visit. He always seemed to do so at the silliest of times, but that was how he worked she guessed.

Listening to Roxy talk, it was Matt's turn to blink. "Uhh, well, that could work, I guess. But...which way's west? You don't happen to have a compass on you, do you?" Although Auran sight had its advantages, it was still inferior to normal sight in that Matt couldn't see things like the sun's position in the sky, or the stars at night. And he didn't know if Roxy was a tracker or not, so that didn't leave them with very many options, really. Unless... He paused. "Actually, I can use my Auran sight to "see" farther than you'd be able to with regular vision. But I have to close my eyes to be able to 'see' the emotions, so I'll basically be wandering around blind -not to mention my energy will be sapped a bit faster - for a bit, you'd need to protect me if we get attacked." He explained, then looked at Roxy. "That okay?"
