Lindsey smiled at the tease before taking a deep breath at Sarah's question. "Uh, It was my mom's." She understood the curiousity that had her in it's grips, she just kind of hoped the waver in her smile from before wasn't noticed. It wasn't like her mother's death really affected her, she was only five when she died, and there were few memories of their time together that Lindsey remembered. But growing up with only boys in her family, she felt like there was a part of herself missing. Moments in time she never got to share with her mother, like prom for instance.

Lindsey noticed the sudden awkward atmosphere and tried to make it go away. "I'm sorry, I just made things incredibly awkward. I just don't want to talk about her." She smiled. "So what do you like to read? or write?" She quickly changed the subject with a warm smile, shoving those sad thoughts to the depths of her mind.

Lindsey smiled at Sarah's response. "Same. I do like some crime, dystopian and apocalyptic themes too, I mostly read Young Adult fiction." She couldn't help it. There were other genres she read too. Including John Green's life ruining novels. She adored reading, which is why she surrounded herself with books by working in a book shop. Heck, even one of her walls in her dorm room was dedicated to shelves full of hardbacks and paperbacks. She tried to get every series in the same release design but sometimes, like with the Percy Jackson series, she occasionally bought the hardback versions of the newer. She couldn't help it. Books were an addiction to her. There were seventeen books on her to read list, some she even bought a year or two ago. "What are you currently reading? If any?" She smiled eager to know.

. Sarah Jane thinks for a moment. "The last book I read was a Harry Potter book. I think it's the seventh book I last read," she replies. "Uhm... Do you have any ideas on what I should read next?" she asks, checking her watch. She smiles slightly. The second bell was about to ring - if the teacher wasn't there in about fifteen minutes they'd be legally aloud to leave the classroom

Lindsey smirked. Recommending books to people was her life. "Well, if you're looking for fantasy, I would recommend The Maze Runner series, The Percy Jacksons, The Hunger Games; if you haven't already read them, Daughter of Smoke and Bone by Laini Taylor is really good." Smiling to herself, Lindsey apologised. "Sorry I work in a bookshop, i'm used to selling good books to people, I can go on for hours." Lindsey barely noticed the bell for class ring, she was so absorbed in book recommendations.

Charlie stared daggers into him, his lips set in a straight line. It took him a few moments before he spoke, 'Music' Charlie chose not to mention the other two subjects that he had taken. Equestrianism and art. From experience not everyone took kindly to his life's passions.
