Mark Holloway ~ Male ~ Thirty-Three ~ Werewolf ~ Loner/Former-Beta
Location: Park/Greg Steel's Plaque ~ Tags: None
Mark had been standing far off on the outskirts of the park area where the memorial was with his hands shoved into his pockets, the unveiling had too many people, including former pack mates. They didn't know he was back in town and he wasn't entirely sure he was going to tell them, but for the time being he was doing one thing at a time. He'd waited in the same exact spot as people started dispersing, it took a long while before Greg's memorial plaque was left with little to no spectators. Eventually when he was comfortable enough he approached it, moving slow over the grassy park. The man paused before it, staring somberly before reaching out a hand towards it. Letting his fingers gingerly wipe across the lettering before crouching down with a sigh, "I'm sorry I wasn't here..." He murmured, eyes having found their way to the ground below. Now was the time to say what he needed to, unsure of how the pack was handling the funeral or if he'd be able to get access to a grave.
"...but I'm not sorry for leaving." Mark hadn't expected coming back to Jasper City and facing this to be as hard as it was. Watered and glossy eyes closed forcefully for a moment and then the blonde stood back up once again and took a step back, eyes opening to stare the plaque intently. Mind grinding as he considered what he should do next.
