The dragon left and Shade finally woke up. Without a second thought she grabbed Excalibur and jumped onto his back and kicked his stomach. He took off with a whinny and started sprinting towards Dawnstar. She wanted to stop by the sanctuary and see if there were any.. contacts. A grin began to grow on her face.

After two days of riding she finally made it to Dawnstar. Looking around the desolate city she saw an Orc by and stand which seemed to be own by a Khajiit. The cat seemed to be selling something but Shade wasn't interested at the moment. Turning her head, hoping the male didn't see her, she began walking her horse towards the sanctuary.

Durak swallows the liquid in one breathe. Some of it spilled down his mouth as he slightly slammed the mug down on the wood. "That was quiet satisfying if I do say so myself." The large orc said as he looked to the Khajiit. "I wish you safe passages, but I must be returning to my stronghold." The male said as he turned around and began to walk toward his horse.

Another day, another dawn, another boring hour of just walking around places he had been a hundred times before. No matter how many times he walked around in Dawnstar, the city didn't look a day older from when he was running back and forth from the sanctuary. As it crossed his mind, he wondered what it looked like now. It was quite some time since he had been there and he reconed his previous mentors where either dead or too old to function at this point.
He sniffed the air to try and figure out which way it was again, but the only thing that his nose caught the scent of was a hint of Nightshade coming from a suspicious looking Dark Elf. She looked like she was headed out of the city, so M'jhera started walking after her. When he got close enough for her to hear him when he spoke, he cleared his throat before his growl-like voice broke the silence and roamed through the air like a delicate thunder.
"Excuse me, are you headed for the Sanctuary?" he asked, hoping she wouldn't find the question intimidating and run away like other times when he misjudged people from a distance._______________________________________________________

An angry frown rested upon the Orc's face as he made his way from the marketstands angrily. If there where any people he despised, it was salesmen. "Trying to buy my Wuuthrad for 50 septim? I should take his head for that.." he mumbled in rage, heavy steps on the hard rocky ground. He was trying to get some new boots as the ones he wore started to get pretty patchy and worn out. But no matter where he went, every smith wanted his axe. Orok refused to sell it every time as it was his only weapon, the only one he needed.
He stopped by the entrance of Windhelm, looking around as he thought to himself where he should go. He was too tired to start moving without a rest so he could might as well get himself some ale while he was here. It was said that the Candlehearth Hall was a good place to go, so he headed there while trying to figure out if he had enough septims to stay the night.

Excalibur whinnied at the sound of the males voice but Shade quickly calmed him down. "I am." The elf said calmly. "Are you a friend?" She asked curiously, though she didn't make eye contact with the Khajiit. "How do I know if you're telling the truth?" She asked as she turned her head and her red eyes looked to the male that was beside her and her horse.

M'jhera let out a small sigh as he thought of what he could say to convince her that he wasn't of the enemy. He then walked slowy beside her and her horse, looking up at her with his ocean blue eyes.
"What is life's greatest illusion?" the big khajiit asked, studying her as he waited for her to answer. He hoped that anyone he knew was still there so could tell this girl about his relationship with the Dark Brotherhood and how long it lasted.

Shade looked infront of her and directed her horse accordingly as she waited for the male to speak before she jerked her head in his direction when she heard his question. "Innocence, my brother." The elf said with a calm smile. "What is the music of life?" Shade asked with a curious glance as she waited for his responce.

Crossing his arms, he almost gave a little smirk at her question. It had been quite some time since he had heard that.
"Silence, my brother" he said, with a small nod of his head while looking over the Dark Elf and her horse again before turning his head towards the ocean and sighing a little.
"It's good to know the tradition still stands after all these years. Would you mind showing me the way to the door?" he asked while gazing upon the water, his expression not changing. He almost felt a little proud to see that they still taught their members this.

With Khajiit visibly panting, the poor mage was struggling to race up to the trio, steel boots stumbling over the path. Feeling the concerned gaze of the stranger and the irritated stare of his steed didn't make the Khajiit feel any better, wincing softly once the two had looked away. Though the man had stopped his gallop, Garmr didn't stop his chase, about to pounce onto the horse's haunches when he was abruptly blocked by the seemingly much better trained husky. Ra, rather alarmed, tried to call out to them but found that his voice was covered up by his panting, tossing his bouquet of mountain flowers to the ground. The death hound was now snarling back at the other dog, small wisps of black mist flicking off it's sides while he lowered himself, jaws open and ready to protect his own master as well. Looking completely out of breath and rather out of shape, Ra swooped in behind the hound and snatched his thick metal collar in both hands before the vampiric beast could lash out. "Garmr, no! Bad dog!" He scolded, much to Garmr's surprise. Once the feline man had heeled the hound, Garmr lowered his head in submission, looking a bit disgruntled. With his cheeks red under his fur, the Khajiit drew his eyes up to the Imperial, small ears flicking backwards. "My apologies sir, he usually isn't this aggressive." He began, chest rising and falling rapidly while he tried to catch his breath. "Is your horse hurt? H-how about your dog?" He questioned, slit eyes dilating as he frantically looked over the domesticated dog and the wonderfully snow-colored steed. The furred man, though it looked very hesitant, eventually returned his uneasy gaze to Nigiel, hoping he wouldn't get that sparkling Elven dagger stuck into his hide.

A reptilian woman sat at one of two stools before the counter, worn red eyes examining the food that had been placed before her. The wooden bowl held some sort of vegetable soup, with a few pieces of chicken scarcely lining the broth. The warrior appeared to be tired, a few fresh wounds bleeding through the white miner's shirt that she hadn't bothered to change out of yet. Her jaw was held partially open, breath a bit heavy with exhaustion from some battle she'd had on her way here. Inhaling the smell of a freshly cooked meal, the Argonian sighed, lifting her armored hands to the counter and wrapping them around the dinnerware. The warmth of the soup was quite pleasant, as it defrosted her chilly scales, proceeding to lift the bowl to her mouth. Leaning it back to take a large sip, she soon lowered it again, the liquid dripping from her lips. Dancer turned her head as the sound of an opening door echoed through the hall, eyebrows raising with curiosity at the arrival of someone new. She lowered the bowl down to the counter, running a large lizard tongue over the soup that got trapped on the scales of her snout. The miner glanced to the seat beside her, then back at the stranger, the feathered crest that adorned the back of her head perking up with interest at the sight of the orc. Watching the man out of the corner of her eye when she turned forward, the Argonian grinned, bringing her soup back to her lips again.

The dark elf nodded at his answer and instantly knew he was part of the original band of members but she couldn't quite remember him from the first sanctuary over in Falkreath. A small sigh escaped her mouth as she looked to the male. "There hasn't been many new members since Astrid died.." Shade said in a quiet tone. "There hasn't been a true leader since then, but I only know the old customs because I became apart of them before they ended.." her voice trailed off slightly. "I was one of the last recruits before we moved from Falkreath to Dawnstar. Cicero, Veezara, Arnbjorn, Gabriella, and Lis are dead as well. Astrid betrayed us some time ago and the only three to survive was me, Babette and Nazir. And I guess you survived as well but you weren't there at the time as I don't remember you. There have been a few recruits since then but not many.." Shade said with a bit of disappointment.

At the time I didnt feel like drinking, since I just made fun of the companions for being drinkers themselves, I sat twiddling some gold coins through my fingers. Watching an waiting. As a hour passed the mysterious Elf made his way towards the big doubled door, I start to almost panic, Crap, I cant loose sight of him.I stood up a bit fast and put my arms on my head to act 'natural'.. maybe a bit too natural... I panicked more since now I could tell hes at least noticed my heavy footing on the wooden floor boards quickly approaching behind him. I knew grabbing him or even putting a hand on him will give me some sort of curse or something, I winced at the thought of it. Instead my gut feeling took over a I walked passed him bumping my shoulder into his arm, almost on purpose.

In the morning the cold crisp air of Windhelm has never changed, it was like needles stabbing into your skin until it became numb, especially when your standing in front the Palace of Kings. I had enough of the cold, wrapping my arms around myself I made my way to Candlehearth Hall. The fire will warm me up.... maybe some mead too.. Almost five minutes later, some of the locals were at it, again. A Dark Elf and a Nord, arguing about not being paid equally. Of course the elves got the short end of the stick, as per usual, so I approached them. They did noticed me at first until I pushed the snobbish Nord out of my way and proceeded to scold him and shoo him off. I looked toward the elf and handed him a bag of gold septims, about 20 in the bag. "Here." I said dropping the bag into his worn out hands. His face brightened, and he thanked me before he ran off to what seemed like his wife and two kids. I sighed and continued on, I hated how prejudice almost all Nords are. I pushed opened the big doors to the Inn and found myself a spot by the open fire, I sat there and stared into the fires embers and flames for what seemed like a hour.
my lovely here has been in the Inn for awhile sitting by the fire for an hour :'^) ))))
Look within yourself, what do you see?
