Lillian had not forgotten anything. She had been in street fights more daring than this, against stronger, more skilled opponents. These were just wild animals. She felt no need to draw her weapon, as she was a fighter as a human. Her punches and kicks would do just fine.
Lillian felt infringed upon, and underestimated when the red fox tore her fourth attacker down. She had just been about to turn and land a powerful palm strike, too. Growling she ignored the fox. Let him have the small prey. She'd done this so he could run away....and because she had a hard time turning down a good fight. This was hardly a chance to pass up, and she had summed up her chances carefully. This was not just pure impulse, although impulse was definitely a factor.
Impulse was probably the only factor most onlookers would pick out. Inside Lillian's brain, it was a different story. Six ganged up on her now, whether by intelligence or chance. She was hardly the opponent they had expected...if Flares could expect things.
Lillian showed teeth in a smile that was anything but friendly. "Please, make it a challenge," she muttered under her breath, too quiet for anyone to hear.
Setting her feet calmly, and drawing back her fist, she closed her eyes and let animal instinct take control. Unlike Kenton (with whom she had fought side-by-side with on one lucky occasion), Lillian did not calculate. She was a reactor. Both of them could think quickly in a fight, or rely on instinct, each chose a different one.
Horse had rippling muscle and strong kicks; they were far more beastly than expected. A horse could be a gentle saviour, or a brutal monster. Not as monstrous as a wild beast, or course, but still impressive as a creatures went. Smart, too. Horses had senses that extended beyond a human's yet could connect with them as well.
Oh, this was going to be a good fight. Lillian needed the practise, the exercise and the rush of adrenaline.
