The blue shades of day were slowly beginning to melt away into mixtures of orange and pink. The sunset was a beautiful thing, something that Ayame always found herself watching every single day. She had a certain love for things that not even science or magic or anything could create, and the way the sun came and went, just as the moon did, was one of those things she loved. The sun knew when it was time to vanish and to reappear, same with the moon. The stars twinkled every night without missing a cue, and every sunset one could find Ayame sitting up in the large oak tree nearest the sun dorm watching the colors of the sky fade from sky blue to various shades of pinks and oranges, and purple. What she wouldn't give to just have a world in which the peace she felt now was worldwide.

The perky blonde was always alone here, but it's not like she hated it. It gave her time to think, time to figure out if she had any situations to deal with or if she could just go another day without worrying about adult responsibilities. But alas, all good things must come to an end. She did have duties to attend to, whether she liked it or not, and one of these duties would begin soon. Ayame hopped from branch to branch down the tree until her feet hit the ground, and once they did she sprinted off towards the moon dorms where she would be making sure the night students arrived to their own classes without a problem. The night students were not normal students, no of course not. They were vampires, beings that Ayame had mixed feelings towards. She couldn't help but have a low burning inside to hate them, but being the person she was she had no need to. These vampires did not kill her mother, a Level E vampire did, one that had gone fully insane with no hope of coming back. The night class students were perfectly sane, or at least that was what she liked to think. To be completely honest she had no idea. They kind of scared her, especially when they got so close to her. But at the same time the fear she felt from them was matched with a curiosity in which she couldn't explain. It was almost like their terrifying, mysterious behavior pulled her towards them too.

As she began to slow her roll she found a figure already standing near the gates. As she neared the person she found it to just be Ima, a fellow day class students, as well as a fellow hunter. She sighed out of relief, happy it wasn't a vampire in which she would be alone with. Ayame walked silently over to the green haired girl, noticing her eyes were shut. She slowly lifted her hand and gently poked Ima in the arm, saying "Ima? You aren't asleep are you?" She didn't want to wake the girl up if she was, but she did feel a little awkward just standing there in silence.

xxxchiharu yawned, rubbing her eyes as she attempted to focus her vision and wipe away the haze of sleep. she stretched out lazily like a cat before reaching over to turn off her alarm. in both of the classes, most of the students didn't need alarms to wake them up, but chiharu found it hard enough to even get out of bed. on her own, she wouldn't wake up until several hours after sunset.

xxxshe lit a small fire on the headboard of her bed to give her light as she changed, extinguishing it when she finished putting on her uniform. the wooden headboard was charred from previous mornings. she didn't actually need the fire's light to see, but it was a reminder to her to hurry up. she didn't mind a bit of ash, but she would be upset if she ended up actually damaging her bed. although, she supposed, it technically belonged to the school.

xxxchiharu hurried out of her room and down the hallways, then paused before leaving the moon dorm. she didn't want to be the first one to leave the dorm. it wasn't likely that anyone would decide to walk with her, but if she stood off to the side, then someone might leave before her. she had to admit that she didn't exactly invite other people, human or vampire, to talk to her, but she sometimes got lonely.

x x x The few moments of being alone with the murmurs of nature nearly lulled Ima to sleep. Her shoulders relaxed against the tree she leaned on, and her head tipped lightly forward and to the side as she gave up on keeping it up. The struggle of getting enough sleep as a hunter in the academy tended to show very clearly in Ima, and she had actually fallen asleep standing on a couple of occasions, usually towards the beginning of patrol, like tonight. It was a very bad habit, but she would fortunately perk up by the time the night class filed into the school. For now though, sleep had taken her guard down.

x x x Because of that, she didn't notice her fellow hunter's approach. Her glasses hung lowly on the bridge of her nose, her arms folded across her chest. Suddenly (to her, anyway), something prodded her arm, and the young woman flinched harshly in response, sleep-dulled teal eyes shooting open and instantly looking quite a bit less dulled. The movement knocked Ima's glasses to the paved ground, and, upon recognizing the voice and turning her head to see Ayame, her pale cheeks bloomed a heated pink. "Oh--!" she exclaimed in a discomposed mixture of alarm and embarrassment, then giggling sheepishly and bending down to reclaim her fallen spectacles.

x x x "I might have been," Ima chuckled, pressing her glasses back onto her nose after checking them for damage. "You caught me. Sorry about that, Ayame." Gently scratching her cheek, the hunter straightened up and smoothed her uniform, deeply hoping this didn't impact the blonde's opinion of her. Had that not been a friendly face, she could have been in a bad spot. "Just woke up from a nap before patrol. I'm not quite all there yet... as you just saw."

Mayu stared at her ceiling. She hadn't gotten any sleep before, and it was now time for her to attend classes. This didn't bother the young-looking female vampire; this has happened before and she's gotten by just fine. Kind of. She does hold it all in, but it still doesn't faze her. In a way. Mayu stood up and walked over to her closet. Wrapping her pale-ish fingers around the knob, she carefully opened it up with a 'click' to reveal some clothing items, including her uniform. She rather quickly took the items out of her closet and slipped off her nightgown, before putting the uniform. After that, she looked at herself in the mirror - not because she likes looking at herself, but because she wanted to see if everything looked particularly decent. Mayu then made her way out of the room before quickly exiting the moon dormitory, hoping she wasn't late or anything. After walking a bit, she noticed Samuel and Ryu. Without any other thought, the petite girl hurried herself up to get closer to the two male vampires. "H-hello Samuel-Kun and Ryu-Kun." Mayu chirped quietly with a soft smile evident on her face. ☯

Katherine woke from her sleep later than normal. She swung her legs over her bed and stood up, stretching as she did speak. She got dressed into the night class uniform. She brush her hair and left her bedroom. Heading downstairs to group with the others before they went to classes

It was surprising for other students when they learned that Daisuke was actually quite organized. He certainly didn't act like it -- constantly giving way to sleep during class and chattering mindlessly with whoever he decided he wanted to bother that particular day. It was truly a miracle that he did so well in school, and woke up in time at all. But somehow (unbeknownst to himself), he managed. In fact, in this particular sunset, Daisuke had woken up just seconds before his alarm began screeching. For a moment, he laid there, tucked under the comforter of his bed and allowing his eyes to fixate on the setting sun before slim fingers reached from out under the blanket and silenced the screaming alarm.

A satisfied grunt emitted from the male as he lifted his hands above his head, dropped them down by his sides, and slipped his feet into his usual footwear. With his gun tucked away in order to avoid alarming the night class (not that he really minded either way, with the way he'd been trained), the hunter stepped out of his dorm room, flicking the light off to leave the sunlight to spill into the room, illuminating it softly as the door shut behind him.

With a smug look plastered on the males face (as usual), Daisuke sauntered easily out of the corridor that held the Sun Dorms, and eventually to the main academy, where the night classes were being held. He had just caught sight of Ima and Ayame conversing amongst one another, Ayame taking delight in prodding the mintette's side. He was just within earshot when he heard Ima's bashful reply, and by the time he approached, a reply was already spilling from his mouth, mock shock caking his tone, "What? Ima isn't in her game yet?" A gasp finished Daisuke's playful greeting, approaching the two fellow hunters by leaning his elbow on the much shorter Ayame.

▶▶ as ryu was walking, gazing up at the sun that was setting beyond the school, he heard footsteps and then his young classmate calling his name as he approached. As he was already moving at a rather slow pace, he didn't bother stopping, but looked behind him to shoot the younger being a smile before looking back ahead. He waited for the younger vampire to approach him before greeting him with a simple, "good morning samuel" and a nod towards his class mate.
It wasn't much later when he heard another hurrying to approach him and turned his head to see who it was. he offered mayu a welcoming smile as she approached the two, "Hey mayu" he said before looking back ahead of him. they had actually gotten quite some distance from the dorms in their slow walk. They were almost at the area where paths from each dorm met and led to the school.

Mayu smiled back at Ryu before giggling quietly. She was always quite close with Ryu, it was almost like they were brother and sister. She felt as if he was the only real person who won't judge her, no matter the circumstance. She never really talked to Samuel, but he seemed quiet like her, so that helped with that fact. She thought he was cool and stuff, but... She never gathered the courage to speak to him and have a two-sided conversation. To be honest, that's how she is with practically everyone. She's talked to Ryu the most, and there was that one time she talked to Daisuke, but that's it. The female let out a calm sigh and looked off into the distance a bit. "Didn't quite get any sleep." She said quietly, continuing to stare at the world in front of her. Small things amazed her, especially the outside world (of course, she's nature). Humans amazed her the most, but she remembered that she used to be one. She couldn't remember anything of her past, not even if she had a single sibling. But she was okay with this. Kinda.

xxx You got to be kidding me! I can't believe that guy can talk for so long! It's literally sunset! Akio thought as he raced out of the main building and towards the gate to the sun dorm. Akio had gotten pulled aside by at least three teachers, two of them complaining to no end about his bad habit of distract others during class. The last of them, the music teacher, rambling on and on about how he'd done so well in class that day and how he had always liked the violin. Music was Akio's best class, but this didn't stop him from feeling tempted to hit himself with a text book out of frustration as the teacher continuously spoke, while slowly meandering down the hall. Once he'd finally shut up, Akio had raced a head knowing he was horribly late, and that night class students would be walking towards the building at any moment.
xxxThankfully it didn't take long for him to reach the fork in the path were three stood talking together. Akio looked away from them, ducking his head slight in hopes of not being noticed and chastised for being so late, which wasn't easy from someone with hair as bright as his to do. Once he felt that he was a safe distant from them, he glanced over his shoulder at the three, sighing with relief before turning to look at the gate in front of him. Thank god, I thought they were going to close the gate on me... He thought, stepping through the dorms gate. Now that he was safely within the sun dorms domain he was able to feel much more relaxed, the school seemed to be very particular about how the day and night classes switched in the morning and evenings. Akio was proven to be not very fond of this rule, often taking as much time as he wanted when walking back to the dorms after class. Though when being scolded for his lollygagging for what must have been the millionth time, he decided it may just be best to follow the schools etiquette. No matter how much he didn't want to.
xxxThe sun dorm seemed to currently have an air of calmness to it. There weren't may people out and about at this time. Other then those who tired to get a glimpse of the night class students. Akio had to admit he himself found them to be a bit intriguing, but not enough to fawn over like some did. So he continued walking him the direction of his dorm, taking his jacket off and loosening the tie around his neck. There's no way I'll be able to finish all my work before it gets dark... Akio thought, looking dully at the setting sun.

▶▶ mizuki was currently filled to the rim with energy. None of her closest friends had felt up to keeping her occupied tonight. The girl had gotten tired of prodding at her ant hill with a twig after a minute or so, and found herself just wandering around outside the sun dorm, tossing a stone from hand to hand. so. bored. she had already circled the building several times before she slumped down on the steps to the entrance and let out a loud, incredibly obnoxious sigh of defeat, throwing the stone she had been holding off into the bushes.
It would be a lie if she had said her hopes hadn't gotten up when she heard footsteps approaching the dorm. She quickly sat up and excitedly turned her gaze towards the student that was approaching, but slumped back down a bit when she realized it was somebody she hadn't really spoken to a great deal before. She had seen him in classes (it was rather hard to miss him with that hair of his) but never did have a real conversation with him, which was odd for the girl who did her best to befriend even the night class. Despite the fact that this student was headed right for the dorm, obviously meaning to enter it, mizuki remained sprawled out across the steps.
