personality;; boyd is a neutral boy, preferring to stay in the shadows and not take sides. boyd is fully aware of the mistreatment of shifters like him, but is not really doing anything about it. like most shifters, he believes that there is nothing that he can do about it, and is virtually hopeless. he is not very open to people whom he doesn't know, and his trust is hard to earn. around the friends he does have, he is confident, outgoing, and happy. he can be sarcastic and has quite a sense of humor. boyd doesn't really have an opinion on his job; he does what he has to, and doesn't really feel remorse. if information needs to be learned, he always finds a way of obtaining it. if someone has to die, he sees it through. he can be viewed as a selfish character, as he will not hesitate to take someone's life to save his own. what got him into the job was mostly his animal form. he is quiet on his feet, but it was the komodo dragon's poison that determined his occupation. the venom in two glands on the bottom of the dragon's jaw can cause swelling, dizziness, loss of consciousness, and even death. boyd has an innocent look, and it is very easy for him to pretend to be your friend, then stab you in the back. he does not have a great sense of loyalty, and will often shift his alliance if he is between two sides. the only person he trusts and loves is saskia. he would put his life in her hands if he had to.

History:
Lucas had never really gotten to know his family. his mother was someone's else's 'Pet', and his father had died trying to get out the city. Lucas didn't have any siblings which to that he was thankful, He didn't want to have to worry about. If his father left him anything in his departure, it was his home in the community. He just lived in the home now, doesn't come out of it unless hes forced by the humans. if Lucas was to say his childhood was pretty normal to him.

•➢ Pippa Sohter, twenty year old guard,
known for being possibly the worst shifter
on the guard job, due to the fact her
animal isn't exactly a standard used for
guarding. Many of the families she's been
hired by have had better luck with her in
her human form protection-wise. As for
her singing voice, well, let's just leave
that to her warbler form. Since, quite
ironically, she sounds like some kind of
dying cat in human form. Pippa's also
become known for being thrown out of
the homes she's supposed to protect.
She's still surprised that the government
hasn't made her a lab rat yet. She seems
nonchalant about what happens to her.

xCurious, witty, humorous, and adventurous, Keahi is not one bit shy to go out
and make a fool of herself, as long as it's fun. She tends to get into trouble a
lot with the things that she does, but can somehow slither her way out of it.
She isn't one to try and prove her worth to anyone and often doesn't care wha
t others think of her. But then again, that is just a trait of her impulsive care
free characteristics. The little voice in the back of one's mind telling them no
t to do something that may get them in trouble or perhaps not to say somethi
ng because it could offend someone, it's called a conscious? Keahi doesn't see
m to have one of those. Anything could spill out of her mouth at any moment
so she tries to warn others ahead of time not to take anything she says, too p
ersonal. Although not the youngest, this girl is one to act like she is a child, o
r at least much younger than her true age. Keahi doesn't speak much of her p
ast, afraid of how others will think of her or that they will turn their backs on
her, so her life is not one common part of conversations. But with some of h
er experiences, she picked up some skills on the way. She's fairly small and d
oesn't have a great amount of strength on her shoulders, but she uses that to
her advantage by using speed when in a fight. But that's not a common route
she likes to take. Usually she's all fist, ready to jump in the ring with a fiery t
emper when someone sets her off. Admittedly not the smartest thing she cou
ld do, but that wouldn't stop her if she'd been set off. Her impulsive behavior
tends to keep her from making the logical choice over the easy one.

again, there hasn't been many rules set for her. Drew does
n't really know her own feelings so she usually keeps them
bottled up inside. She's very insecure about her feelings,
but doesn't really care how she looks, as long as it doesn't
get her noticed. She prefers to keep her distance from pe
ople and remain in her quiet little space. She tends to be
quiet and quite a few assume she is mute because of it, b
ut when she does speak, she's quite the sarcastic one. Dre
