Meet Tuilinnor Swallowflight of the Seulghem Kingdom.

At first glance, the inexperienced may automatically assume that
Tuilinnor is but a young man nearing his prime, but that is false;
Tuilinnor is not a man at all, but is of the fabled Elven-race.
One can hardly ever see Tuilinnor within the city walls; he is a
dedicated soldier, always volunteering to go out on patrols or on
guard duty.

Despite Tuilinnor's loyalty, however, as an elfling he had actually
been raised by a group of rogue elves outside the kingdom, due
to his family's mistrust of humans. A forest fire had chased him
out of his original home and he had been found by a patrol, badly
burned and half-suffocated from smoke. He was extremely
grateful to Seulghem for saving his life, and now works tirelessly
for his kingdom to prove his thankfulness.

Tuilinnor is not too unlike any other elves. Dark-haired, steely- eyed, fair
of face, with a tall, lithe build belying a gracefulness as was wont as the
rest of his race. He is normally quiet, preferring the thoughtful silence of
the woods to the noisy marketplaces of the city grounds, but he is also very
quick-witted and intelligent, with a surprisingly fiery temper if one decides to
prod at his ire.

Who are you to ask anything about me? Why should I tell you, an anonymous passerby? For there isn't anything interesting about me, or my past. Even giving you so much as my name would be all too much power for you to possess.

➳ Meet Adelaide. Adelaide Maci, if you are fond of formal introductions. She usually just goes by Addie, but she only responds to this when her closest friends address her in this way. Not like she has many. She is a vagabond, a nomad of sorts, so what time does one have to make friends when you're on the run? She doesn't care for either one of the groups at war, and lacks political knowledge and any thoughts for such matters, though she does find herself more so occupying Istoth. Adelaide is on the run for many reasons, all not so pleasant. But we'd need to delve into her past to fully understand.
Addie was born on a small farm in Istoth long ago to a happily wed couple with a very strong bond, the father a shapeshifter and farmer, and the mother a human and apothecary. She was taught to specialize in the care of the livestock on their plot of land, mostly sheep and chickens. All was well, that is, until her 15th birthday hit. Around that time, her father came home late from the market one night to find his wife cheating on him with another man. His yells of rage spanned up to their daughter's room in the loft and she watched from above as her father drove her mother and her lover out of the house, threatening to transform into his true form if they didn't. She had never been exposed to it, so the information on his other form is still oblivious to her today. But the girl had a very strong connection to her mother, and she protested her father's actions. Alas, the woman was already long gone, never to be seen again. Their father-daughter relationship was shattered, not like they were close in the first place. She noticed that he seemed to be less and less into his work anymore and more angry at, well, pretty much everything. It seemed that he really did love his wife also, and he, too, regretted kicking her out. And he seemed to be out of his sane mind by one point, for heavens and the Gods above know why, because he started drinking more and started being verbally abusive to her, telling her that she shouldn't have been born and that she had caused her mother's leaving. And after two years' time, by the time he started threatening to chase her out as well, she simply ran away from her troubles.
You see, this pushed her in the direction that she is in now. She has adept survival skills, especially in a forested terrain, thanks to her years built up centered on being on the move. She has her heart set on building up as much money as she can to move to another realm, even going to stealing and bartering to get it, wanting to be no where near her past and any sentimental reminders of it.
On the outside, Adelaide seems rather fiery and hostile, which is most of what you will really hear from her. Though it's not easy, considering you actually did somehow get past her emotional walls, she is rather awkward and insecure. She loves to have the upper hand in a conversation, and when she isn't angered, she is rather quiet and pessimistic, giving off a cold aura to passersby. Superstitious and calculating, she tends to steer clear of others and doesn't speak unless spoken to, as she is a better listener than anything.

Her full name is Princess Evangeline Blythe, although she prefers to be called Evan as a nickname. Her parents are the king and queen of Istoth. Evangeline recently turned eighteen, making her an official woman. She has no romantic interests, and does not want to marry any time soon. She's very independent, childish, and capable. Evangeline is a bit of a tomboy in personality, but has the appearance of a beautiful princess, which she is. Evangeline can take care of herself and is good with weapons. She favors a sword, as well as a bow and arrow.

The biggest thing many notice about Princess Evangeline would be her status of royalty. Despite first impressions, Evangeline does not always act like a lady, even though she should. Rather, Evangeline spends most of her time practicing sword-fighting or archery, wearing common clothing and sometimes even light armor while she trains. She is not a fan of dresses, and most of the time tries to wear plainer, more comfortable clothing. Unfortunately, her parents, the king and queen, oftentimes force her to wear the proper clothing of royalty. Evangeline is more a tomboy than anything else. She's independent and very stubborn and can be very childish. She prefers playing and running outside, climbing the castle walls, and practicing her fighting skills to sitting up straight and talking and acting like a lady. To mark her tomboy personality more obviously, Evangeline chose a masculine name for her nickname, Evan. Evangeline is an extremely beautiful woman. Her appearance is very distinctive, from her elegant face to her long, gorgeous hair. Evan has large hazel eyes that are a golden amber around the pupil and brighten into a deep green around the edges of the iris. Her eyelashes are thick and long and her eyebrows are brown and nicely arched. Her hair, long and thick and reaching the small of her back, is platinum blonde and slightly wavy, as well as soft, healthy, and shiny.

His full name is Leonidas Gorgon, son of the butcher and a wolf shapeshifter. He likes Leo as a nickname, but overall prefers Leonidas. He's still young at twenty-two years old, but has big dreams. Leo is a mere foot-soldier and hopes to one day become a knight. He favors a bow, and is a great shot. He's also very skilled with a variety of other weapons, from swords to spears and everything in between. Leonidas is handsome in appearance and has a loyal, determined, and hardworking personality. He's compassionate and fair and is quite ambitious.

As soon as he was old enough, Leonidas joined the army and became a foot-soldier with dreams of becoming a part of the cavalry or maybe even a knight. Leonidas is brave and courageous, with the heart of a lion. He rarely ever backs down from a challenge, and has the strength and stubbornness to carry through with his decisions. His confidence may turn into a lack of caution at times, but almost never arrogance. He's very compassionate and extremely loyal to his kingdom and family. Leo is a powerful person on the inside, and is morally good and has strong and solid values. Growing up without a mother, he developed a very strong attachment to his father, the town butcher. He helped out at an early age, going out to hunt animals, which is how he grew so talented with a bow. As Leo got older, he learned how to fight with other weapons, giving him a tremendous amount of skill with a wide variety of equipment. He's comfortable on a horse as well, and is generally good with animals, especially dogs. He's extremely handsome, with thick, curly brown hair and striking blue-green eyes. Leonidas tends to have facial hair, ranging from a medium to heavy stubble and a light beard, although sometimes he is clean-shaven. He's a shapeshifter, with the special ability to transform into a large dire wolf the size of a small horse with fur the same color as his dark hair and eyes the same clear blue-green.

Dorian Lewis. Son of minor lord and the baker's girl. Not much to say about that. He received plenty of money from his father, but his fortune didn't begin to change until he was about 17. Something you- oh, yeah. Dorian does magic. Probably should have mentioned that. Dorian can do most any simple trick if he puts his mind to it, but he excels in illusions.
During local harvest festival, Dorian was making some spare change preforming to the visiting nobles. By complete chance, he overheard a rather shady argument between two rather shady characters. Again, not much to say about that. Unless you mention how Dorian used his knowledge of these rather shady characters to save a young lady from certain death. The aforementioned lady -who just so happened to be very rich- decided to thank Dorian via loads of cash and a one way ticket to court.
Dorian now spends his days as the court entertainer. After all, it's not everyday Istoth nobles get to meet a rich, handsome young man with lots of connections.

Anna is a young, hopeful peasant girl, trying to make her living as a maid in the Castle of Istoth. She was born to one Rosa Porter, a 'madam' who runs her own upmarket, courtesan brothel. As soon as Anna was of age, her mother tried to force her into joining the business and become a courtesan herself; however Anais refused. She finds her mother's business immoral and hates the thought of men paying to use her as a mere object.

Instead, Anna got a job as a maid in the Castle. The fact that she managed to at all was a small miricle in itself. Anna is clumsy at the best of times; with an unfortunate habit of knocking things over or spilling things. She's worked at the Castle since she was just 14, five years ago. She has never shown anyone her shapeshifter ability, nor does she intend to. Sometimes, she will shift, and wander around Istoth, or sometimes the Castle Courtyards. There are a few stable cats here and there, which she easily blends in with to the human eye.

Anais is easily intimedated by those who are Royal or Noble, often stammering in their presence. However, with those who are her friends she tends to relax and become a lot more vocal; often she can be a little over-enthusiastic and a little bit of a handful. Above all, however Anna is a daydreamer. She has little-to-no experience with combat or any typically 'male' activities. The prospect of war or fighting is not something she rellishes; in fact, she is rather happy that the conlict has finally stopped.

Well, I hadn't wanted to bore you with lines of text, but looking back I can tell listing the basics isn't particularly helpful either. My name's Valoria Perry, but please, call me Val. Well, today I'm nineteen, but I grow closer to twenty every day. Not that I look like it, of course. I was born early, and as a result, I'm rather frail. Pathetically so, but don't tell my mother or she'll get mad. Oh yes, Duchess Sybella Perry of Seulghem, my mother. She would also insist upon you calling me Lady Valoria, but again, please don't. It's just a hassle and I prefer my nickname to anything else. Anyways, if I stand up straight, I can just barely reach 5' 2". The court physician said my height's because I was born early.
I have no idea where my hair came from, though. Red hair has never run in the family. I like to keep it long, near my waist, so I can plait it. People say the red sets of my green eyes. I consider them more in the grey spectrum, to be honest.
But I'm rambling, aren't I? I suppose you could call me nice. People also say friendly, compassionate, happy, gentle and carefree. I suppose those all fit, but I'd like to add smart, thoughtful, and intelligent. I've never been lazy, but I tire much quicker than most people my age, so I spend a lot of time in the library reading. History, adventures, medicinal facts, you name it. I just know a lot. It tis a rare sight to see an elf as small as she is. She is smaller than most elves, and quieter as well. Silence is her brother, and the shadows are her friend. She learned to be has silent as the dead themselves, and to not speak to anyone about anything. Her father, god bless him now, was a brave soldier who was killed in battle. An arrow to the chest. Was a painless death, but a sad one. After that day, she vowed to fight in his honor, and destroy the men who needed to be destroyed. A cunning assassin she is, and a skilled one as well. Kai was born and raised in Istoth. His father was a knight in the royal guard, so Kai was trained in the art of fighting from an early age. Unlike his father, however, he was not overly large and muscle bound. Large swords, maces and axes were wasted on him. He instantly fell in love with smaller blades, and began to train in those instead. He was never gifted with any siblings, so he had to entertain himself.
When he was about 10, his father was killed in an accident. While everyone claims that the bridge collapsed on its own from sheer age, he feels that someone from Seulghem had a hand in it. This only strengthened his loyalty to the royal family. When he was about 17, he went to the royal family and eventually joined the guard as an assassin and part-time personal guard. While he knows that it is forbidden, he has developed a love for the princess. He both respects her as his future ruler and finds her rather attractive.

As both a human and a leopard, Kai has the same personality. There are six main traits to his personality.
Courageous- Kai is not afraid of most things. Battles, creatures, and blood are all just part of his job and he faces them with ease. The things that do scare him, however, are being trapped in some type of hole or well and severe heights. He hides his fear for these, but his nervousness can be detected by a trained eye.
Loyal- Kai is as loyal as any man or beast could get. He will follow the orders of the royal family to the ends of the earth and back without question. He would kill for them or die for them happily. He is also loyal to any friends (which are few due to his career choice) to the same extent.
Stubborn- Unless the person ordering him around is a friend, has is respect, or is royalty, they might as well forget about it. He makes his own orders and believes what he wants.
Temperamental- Kai has a temper. While it is mostly kept under control, he can lose it at times. During missions, if anyone threatens someone he loves or insults them, he turns into a raging assassin instead of a stealthy one. It has caused issues before, but not ones that are impossible to solve.
Loner- While he loves to be around those he respects and loves, he hates a lot of other people. They are seemingly stupid and useless in his mind, and he prefers solitude over that.
Gentleman- Regardless of whether he hates people or not, he can play the perfect gentleman when the time calls for it.

As a human, Kai is a rather handsome young man. He is of average height for his age and rather muscular. Because he has spent a majority of his time outside, his skin is rather tan. A few scars mark his body here and there, though there is a prominent one on his face. A long line runs from his right temple to his left jaw. It barely missed his eyes, but it is very noticeable in both his forms. His clothing tends to be a plain tan tunic under a black leather vest, the hood of which often hangs over his face, black pants and black leather boots. His eyes are both a golden shade of brown and his hair is black and wild.
As a snow leopard, Kai is similar to his human form. For reasons unknown, he is larger than any regular snow leopard would ever get. He is muscular and stands a tad over 3 feet at the shoulder. The lines where his scar lies has grown back patchy, which is a striking difference to the rest of his thick, smooth fur. His golden eyes are the same, though they stand out more as well. He is large enough to be able to carry light people in emergencies, though he has only done this once before.
