you were told about them, the wolves in the woods. but
you've always been curious, maybe now you'll see them.
you don't care how dangerous this is, you want, no, have to
know about these mysterious wolves that came with the snow.
now you're spending a whole year away from that dead end city.
a remote bundle of cabins, each complete with lovely living
quarters built for two. you, of course, will be spending your
time at this retreat with a group of people sort of like
you. don't be shy, this is a place where secrets don't exist.
there are only a few rules, follow them and you'll be just fine.

main rules: please follow all of the site and tess' rules,
I don't want this rp to get shut down because people
aren't being responsible. please post at least one
paragraph {about six sentences} per character per post.
I understand if you have writers block but I will not
tolerate it happening constantly. post ooc/forms on the
correct thread, here, please.

cabin rules: the rules are simple really, no going out past
midnight. always have a buddy. no opposite genders in
the cabins. lastly, never go into the woods alone.

      HEATHER ↴

      xxxxxxthe adventurer
      ───────────────────────────────────
      | title adventurer | age twenty | species human | tags none | crush none

heather had practically begged her oldest brother to bring her to the "retreat" and despite having gotten there in one piece, she felt the polar opposite. his driving was rather horrific and she spent the majority of the ride trying to hold herself still while the potholes he hit drove her skull into the roof of the cramped and rather cluttered car. she'd known better and thought about riding with alec but she knew he needed time alone to think. but now? screw alec's thoughts, her head was throbbing. another few seconds was enough as she gave her brother a placid glare to which he flattened his foot on the brake petal, as he said "to avoid hitting a rabbit that darted out in front of the car". she had almost flown out the door as they arrived, "goodbye tuck, see you in a bit. oh, and thanks for the ride." she hadn't wanted the goodbye to be so short but getting emotional would have been worse. she grabbed her bags and headed inside the building, a smile spreading across her lips as she approached the woman.

she had to admit, the woman at the desk was fairly..lifeless. she had given her a simple cabin four, here's the key and the brochure. how bland. she lifted her bulky bags back up, with the room key and brochure in hand. I can't wait to see the cabin, I bet it's lovely. approaching the cabins might've been a shock to city kids but to heather it was like being with her father at their cabin on the lake when she was a small child, catching fish and cooking them right by the water. she had probably worn the cheesiest grin she could as she unlocked and swung open the door to cozy little cabin number four. the blonde dragged the hefty luggage up the stairs and dropped it down on the floor, she couldn't help but quake with excitement. it only took a moment for her to gain her energy back and bound down the stairs and out the door. this is so beautiful! her thoughts ran wild as she looked around at the fall leaves and thick fog. this was her dream camping trip.

      ALEC ↴

      xxxxxxthe alpha
      ───────────────────────────────────
      | rank alpha | age twenty | species werewolf | tags none | crush none

alec sighed heavily, his dark grey dodge ram pulling into the gravel road that led to the tall log cabin nestled in a forest of pines. he glanced in the rearview mirror, so far the road behind him was dead silent. hopefully he wouldn't be the first here, though he was sure he would be. he shut the truck off and grabbed his two suitcases, he didn't have much, nor did he care. if he needed more clothes he could run down to the general store, sure it was a good forty-five minutes away or so but that didn't matter much to him, a quiet drive by himself was always comforting. there, towering before him, was a rustic log cabin with a small wooden sign out front, the words introductory house scribed in soft blue lettering on the wood. alec combed a hand through his dark brown hair, mustering up a smile for the tenant at the desk. the woman with a messy bun gave him a map of the campsite and a small golden key with a stamped eight on the center.

heavy boots crunched on the gravel as alec walked over to the small circle of cabins. the air was rather cold and heavy, the fog acting as a dense blanket over the retreat's grounds. he wondered if it was always this way, dreary and dark. he half hoped it was, and also hoped it wasn't. the trees were thick enough to provide a decent cover if anyone were to shift, but he was counting on them being capable of controlling themselves. it took a moment of turning in circles to find his cabin, a dark-colored building with a small porch and two rocking chairs out front. this would be..interesting. alec fished the golden key out of his pocket and unlocked the door, he was praying nobody was there yet. he stepped inside of the homey looking cabin and looked around. it didn't look too terrible. his nervousness got to him as he put his bags in one of the two bedrooms. he looked out the window to the bedroom, the fog mostly covering his view of the land. when would everyone else arrive?

he took a short walk through the cabin, feathered golden and bronze leaves fell silently outside the frosted windows. he let out a soft huff, fall was already here and winter would soon arrive. he wished winter wasn't so close but of course, the snow was almost here. alec could see a few other cars now coming up to the introductory cabin, finally they were there. the dark haired boy went back into the granite countered kitchen, his eyes shifting over the various appliances, finally landing on the stovetop with a kettle already set on top. he filled the kettle with water for a hot chocolate, because why not? there were various packets of hot chocolate and coffee grounds in the cabinets, as well as a few other snacks. he wore a slight grin as he poured the hot water and a packet of hot chocolate into a cup. now all he had to do was light a fire. there was already a pile of fresh wood waiting in the fire place, and another stack directly to the right. how nice of them.

alec felt increasingly proud as he finished lighting a fire in the tall stone fireplace and walked out onto the porch with his cup of hot chocolate. his black hoodie and worn grey sweatpants acting as his fur coat did. speaking of, how would he control his shifts? they were always terrible near winter. he didn't know why really, he just knew that they were uncontrollable and painful. the boy sighed and shook his head as he took a sip from the warm mug, don't worry about it alec, this is your vacation. you're supposed to enjoy your time and not worry. he was looking forward to meeting everyone and getting his mind off of all his worries, but with everyone else arriving that meant he'd have to shift his entire focus to the pack.

    DELILAH
    — ᵗʰᵉ ᵇʳᵃᵛᵉ —x;

    feelingcold
    locationarriving in camp
    taggednone

Delilah sat in the passenger seat of her dads truck clinging to the heat. On any other day she loved the cold, today, in this baron place, it was different. She had already seen a slightly intimidating man pull up and wander out into the fog. Her teeth chattered gently and she slid down from the seat and shut the door. She walked around to the back of the truck and pulled out her black duffle bag. She slung the bag over her shoulder, over her blood red hoodie. She pulled her hands into her sweater sleeves to protect her fingers from the cold. She waved goodbye to her father and strode off towards the "introductory house" She pulled open the door and stepped inside. She strode up to the woman sitting at the desk. The woman smiled and handed her a folded piece of paper, the map, and a small golden key with a stamped number one on it. "Thank you" Delilah said before she headed out again.

With every step her small black combat boots made she made a wish inside her head. She wished for the cabins to have heat. She wished that whomever she had to share a cabin with was a nice, respectable person and definitely not a thief. She wished that once she got to her cabin she could just sit and enjoy a nice cup of hot chocolate. As she approached cabin number one, she pulled the key from inside her sleeve and unlocked the door. As she crossed her fingers inside her sleeves she pulled open the door. There was no room mate to be found, but there was a fireplace. She sighed a quick sigh of relief. Delilah explored the cozy little cabin, placing her duffle bag on the bed farthest from the door. Delilah quickly changed into a pair of leggings instead of jean capris and headed back outside. She stood on the poarch outside the cabin door and stared out at the rest of the cabins.

    JAMES
    — ᵗʰᵉ ˢʰʸ —x;

    feeling • accomplished

James stepped out of his little black ford focus, pulling his backpack with her. Deep pangs of regret fumbled around in his stomach. He didn't know if he was going to like it here or not. He did not know if the people here were going to respect and accept that he just didn't feel like talking to everyone all at once. James didn't mind the crisp cold of the air. He found it quite refreshing. Looking around he realized that there were already people here. His feet seemed to weigh a ton each as he took the first few steps towards civilization from the small gravel parking lot. In his mind he knew he had no choice but to man up and walk to the introductory house. It couldn't be that hard could it?

James held his breath and counted how many steps it would take to get to the cabin. Seventy four was a shockingly random number. He was satisfied, proud of himself as he stood in front of the door. As his hand reached for the doorknob, millions of questions danced through his mind. How many people were inside? Were they friendly? Were they his age, or elderly, or children? He sighed. He hated himself sometimes. He thinks so irrationally sometimes. It was obvious that just walking into a cabin and looking around wasn't that hard. the girl before him had done it, why couldn't he? He took a deep breath and opened the door.

When he opened his eyes on the other side of the door, he found only a polite looking woman sitting at a desk. This was not nearly as bad as he expected. The lady looked nice enough. James walked up to the desk with no issue. "Hello" He said. The woman looked up at him and smiled. "Good morning" she said with a faint smile. She handed him the map and a key stamped with the number five. "Thanks" he said as he turned and left. Just in this small interaction, he felt much more confident. He felt like he could do anything. James walked to his cabin quite quickly. He learned that the door was still locked, which made him feel at the advantage. He was going to be the first in his cabin, which is much less awkward than walking in on someone. He sighed a great sigh of relief once in the safety of his cabin.

═══════════════
 Alibi Smith
❝ The Scout
✧✦ sensitive ✧✦
✧✦ touchy ✧✦
✧✦ moody ✧✦

═══════════════

Alibi wasn't the type to own a car, its not like she didn't want to, instead she could afford to. So the long trek was done on foot , which was to her displeasure. The morning was foggy, the air thick and sticky. On top of that she carried to packed duffle bags, and heavy ones at that. Within the first half hour beads of sweat were running down her cheeks and making her flannel stick to her back. She was close to a breakdown, being often moody things could set her off in an instant. One thing she hated was feeling dirty, and frankly all the sweat did its role in making her feel filthy. The only thing on her mind now was a shower, she longed to feel the warm water kiss her skin, and silky floral soap have its fragrance engulf her. Even the thought of the shower put her mind to ease, and made her only long to reach the cabins even more. Picking up her pace, she soon found herself in front of the introductory house, which she entered gladly. She told the women behind the desk she was in cabin 1, and she was given a key with that number on it.Thanks she muttered to the lady as she left the rustic cabin of its own.

Alibi was taking in the scenery as she walked to her cabin. Funny how it was her lucky number, 1. It was seemingly good luck, yet she didn't feel like jinxing herself as she walked up to cabin 1. Her new home. There was a girl on the porch, great. She just stalked past her, looking at her and think high maintenance. As she entered she felt a relief, throwing her bags down on the first open space on the floor. Her trek here was a little adventure in itself, the time walking she saw many things a person in a car wouldn't. When she saw something interesting on the side of the road, she was able to examine the object or animal. She also got lost once, which was ironic. You would think someone with wolf in them would have a sense of direction. However, she was in her human form after all and humans often got lost. The only thing bugging her now was her damp shirt, it was soiled with sweat. Now, she felt trapped in the cloth, and having one of her tantrums she was beyond furious with the shirt. It was itching her, even though she was just imagining it, it seemed pretty real. So she quiet literally ripped it off, luckily she had a sports bra underneath. This didn't help completely though, so with an irritated scream she ran outside.

She was now outside, her hands gripping the porch firmly. She disregarded the other girl, simply shoving her to the side. She had a crazed look in her eyes, there hue now golden color. She felt her k-9 teeth become larger, but with some breathing exercises she had been practicing she remained human. Whenever her emotions were out of wack, the option of her shifting became 95% certain. As demonstrated however, in recent years she has fond ways to counter her emotions in a way that shut them down. She realized breathing was her key. So, replacing her scowl with a smile, she fixed her short athletic shorts and sat on the steps of the cabin.

[ calix ferox bacchus ] ⊱ the delta

Postby nimrod. » Fri Aug 21, 2015 10:16 pm

CALIXxBACCHUS
━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━
rank ; delta xxxxxxxxx tagged ; james & alec xxxxxxxxx feeling ; intrigued

Calix lay sprawled out on the couch of his moderately sized apartment, body twisted at awkward angles, yet it seemed the large male could fall asleep in any position. A soft snore sounded through the room, though it did not come from his ever so ajar lips, but from a close friend of his in which had begged for a place to stay. Awakening to the sound so early in the morning, Calix frowned as he sat up from the large couch, grimacing as he stretched out his body, attempting to strain his neck enough to release the knot in which had formed while he slept, but giving up, a tired groan escaping before he stood to his full height. Frowning down upon his temporary roommate, he wondered what was the worst the young man could do to his place while he was gone. The thought only worrying him further, quickly pushing it away as he left the presence of the living area, making his way to the restroom, which was across from his bedroom. Pushing open the door, he closed it, meant to be softly, yet in his drowsy state he forgot his own brute strength, slamming it so hard that it failed to latch and swung back open, alarming him as he quickly reached for the door, and ensured to close it more gently this time around. Having done so, Calix eyed himself closely in his mirror for a moment, running a comb through his hair before he styled it in its typical manner, deciding against a shower at this point in the day, after having just taken one but a few hours ago. A yawn escaped before he went to brush his teeth, refusing to look at the tired, worn look in his gaze as he did so, instead looking down to his feet and examining the fact he had two different socks on. Rare, but apparently not impossible. Though Calix isn't the type to care deeply about what he wears, he does attempt to dress in a presentable manner. It didn't take the young man long to finish his morning routine, exiting the restroom and nearly running into his groggy roommate, rolling his eyes as he had to catch the shorter male to ensure he didn't fall backwards into a wall. "Watch it man," he muttered, though a slight, friendly light was evident in his gaze, the only sign that he wasn't bothered by any means. Although Calix may not be the most inviting and open, he does have a large, caring heart, it just takes a while to find a place within it. He knew very well that it was a large downfall of his, but no matter what he would do to attempt and correct his cold aura, he always found himself unable to bring down the wall he had spent years building and reinforcing. Calix never was one to grow close to others, which was the main reason behind which he treasures his friendship with Alec so dearly, even though he isn’t always the most open with his alpha. Of course, there are some thoughts you just don’t share, especially when concerning your thoughts on their sister.

Calix and Alec had recently planned to rent several cabins at a relatively local campsite, and though Calix isn't by any means the most excitable, he couldn't deny to himself that he was looking forward to the retreat. Having gathered together several duffel bags filled with various items, as well as clothing, that he felt may or may not be needed, he busied himself with cleaning his apartment before leaving, knowing it would most likely be in a state of uncleanliness upon his return. Practically threatening his roommate's life to take care of his two dogs while he was gone, Calix soon had his belongings loaded up in the trunk of his black, 1969 Ford Mustang. Whistling softly under his breath as he climbed into the driver’s seat, he gave several honks, grinning to himself at the thought of having disturbed so many peoples’ rest. During the drive, various thoughts ran through his endlessly cluttered mind, one in which focusing on if Alec’s sister had decided on joining him or not. Although Calix wasn’t bound to admit to, or show even the slightest interest in the young lady, he had been observing her for quite some time, and finding himself to be rather pleased with what he saw. He shook his head to himself, knowing that Heather or no Heather, he would need to choke back the temptation and keep a level head during the trip, by no means wishing to disturb his nearly life-long friendship with Alec. As uncanny as it seemed to think of Calix having a true interest in any female, he found himself questioning the depth of his interest in the young lady, though never able to fully understand the intentions of his feelings. At times it felt wrong, while at a few rare intervals, it felt beyond right. The thought made him wince, raising a hand to run it through his thick, brown hair, his olive green eyes glancing over the scenery to the left of him as he drove. His inner wolf was pressing at his self-control, finding a need to fight it back as he neared the campsite. Calix parked his vehicle before the service center, noticing from the familiar scent of his alpha as well as his sister, that they had been here not but moments ago. A faint half grin tugged at the corner of his lips, her familiar, nearly sickeningly sweet scent overcoming him, wondering how it was possible the mere idea of her practically intoxicated his mind. Releasing a deep breath as he attempted to clear his mind, he made his way to the woman within the humble building, no emotion evident on his face as he requested a key to the cabin in which he would be staying. The thought of an unknown roommate had him displeased, yet he ignored the bitter thought. Calix took the key she offered, and giving a curt nod before he turned, he exited the building. Alas, he could not resist but slow his pace to take in one last breath of the ever so desirable sweet scent of Heather, a sharp glance out of the corner of his deep green eyes quickly assuring no one was near before he headed towards his vehicle. Removing his keys from his front pocket, he unlocked the trunk and removed his various duffel bags, carrying them with ease as he made his way in the direction of the cabins, refusing her offer of a map.

It didn’t take but a short moment until the circle of cabins came into view, an intrigued expression on his handsomely framed face as he examined the area, chewing on his lower lip softly as he passed by the cabin in which must be harboring the girl of his innermost desires, causing for near pain as he ignored his heart’s needs. Glancing down to the golden key within his right hand, he noticed it to be for cabin number five. Quickly his wondering gaze caught sight of the before stated location, and he made his way forward, though in almost reluctance, aware of the scent of a stranger that lurked within the small building. Wrinkling his nose slightly at what he deemed an unpleasant scent, he twisted the knob, peering inside before walking in, his gaze quickly running over the small human before him, wondering how they might ever manage and get along with one another. Stepping into the confinement of the cabin, he stood stiff for a moment as he attempted to find anything of importance about the young man, eyes narrowed in an evident manner. Dislike it or not, Calix would take great pleasure in any dispute the human might have to offer him. Of course, he has nothing against humans, it’s just that this particular one would be sharing a common place with him, and he didn’t quite know what to think of him yet. “Calix, nice to meet you,” he stated after a moment more, a lack of any remotely inviting or friendly tone in his voice as their eyes met, though Calix’s gaze remained critical. Waiting for an introduction back, he truly had no intentions of speaking any further, and continued into the cabin in search of a room. Having decided upon one towards the back of the structure, he set his bags on the floor, looking over the modest design. It wasn’t stunning by any means, but there was something about it that truly pleased him. Unwilling to waste his time any longer, he left his belongings within the bags he had entered with, exiting the room he had chosen, and closing the door shut behind him. Looking over the interior of the humble cabin, his gaze once again fell upon his roommate, causing for a somewhat uncomfortable feeling to overcome him, pressing him to leave the cabin in search of a familiar face. Mind set to locate Alec, he exited the cabin, only walking off of the porch after hearing a click, assuring him that he had in fact securely closed the door behind himself. Hands in his jean pockets as he picked up the familiar scent of his alpha, he glanced up to the number eight on the front of the cabin before stepping up onto the porch, raising a brow as he looked upon Alec, sipping at a cup of hot cocoa. “I believe your sister might be getting to you,” he observed as he went to take a seat in an available, splintering wooden seat. Calix could easily sense his alpha’s slight worry, knowing that several of his pack mates had great difficulty in controlling their inner wolf. He felt grateful for his sense of control, wondering to himself at that moment how the werewolves would ever manage to full fit in with the humans around them.

Calix observed silently for a short period of time from where he sat, one of his various talents, he had an extremely keen pair of eyes. It appeared as though most everyone had arrived, watching as fellow pack mates, as well as humans trailed into the circle of cabins, each one searching for the one in which would house them. He gave a short yawn as he settled back in the seat, placing an arm behind his head to offer some form of support, being as his large frame made the wooden seat appear as a toy. Silently questioning to himself why he had ever supported staying at a campground with cabins in which he had to duck to enter, he glanced back over to Alec, a near devilish light within his dark eyes. “Is it fair to assume that we are going to have our hands full during our stay?” he murmured with a soft chuckle at the thought, already aware of the beta Vaara’s interest in him, and hoping it might be limited to her throughout the time here. Although he didn’t care all too deeply for the sake of other’s feelings at times, he didn’t wish to cause any unnecessary ill feelings in which he felt were sure to come. So long as Heather was near, his being was occupied. Of course, a bit of attention never went unappreciated. He was curious as to whom might find an interest in his alpha, silently hoping to himself it might be his roommate, for the sake of his own twisted enjoyment. The thought made him turn his gaze away from his alpha, holding back an unneeded comment before his eyes traveled back to the cabin in which he had recently left, curious as to what was on the human’s mind. It is unlike Calix not to try and assume what others concern themselves with, always finding some depth of interest. The moments in which he correctly guessed always left him with some state of being pleased with his capabilities in understanding others. Ever since his feelings for his best friend’s sister had begun to develop, he found himself growing a part from the young man in which he had grown up alongside. Glancing at Alec out of the corner of his eye, he troubled his mind with various outcomes of this vacation, none in which sounded all too pleasing. It wasn’t that they all turned out particularly badly, just that no matter how he envisioned Alec receiving the news, he couldn’t make it past how awkward various situations might come to be, only deepening his cross desire to ignore Heather all together and occupy himself elsewhere.

Cal glanced over at his twin brother, Caine, as he halted the battered red pickup truck with a jolt in a parking space. Caine flashed his brother a smile, and they stepped out of the truck in synchronisation, slamming their doors at the same time. He was immediately hit with the sharp bite of freezing air against his cheeks and the comforting smell of the outside once it had stopped raining. With a deep sigh, Cal pulled back the tarpaulin that had been protecting their luggage in the open topped back, and hauled out his large navy blue suitcase. 'Looks nice.' commented Caine. Cal nodded in reply, tilting his head far back to look directly up at the sky, where a flock of birds darted across his field of vision. The ground was damp and coated in a soggy blanket of auburn leaves, signalling that it was the middle of autumn. Cal pulled out a pair of fingerless, wool gloves out of his jacket's pocket and slipped them onto his hands to protect them as he lifted his suitcase and shrugged one arm of his backpack over his shoulder. 'Let's head over to the Introductory House. This way.' Caine locked his truck up and gave his twin a playful shove on the arm, which Cal happily returned. He was glad to finally be here, as he and his brother had been looking forward to getting away from everything and having a relaxing time away.
Sure enough, Caine led the pair in the right direction and they ended up outside a large log cabin - the Introductory House. A sign outside confirmed it was what they were looking for.
They were greeted by a woman as soon as they entered, who passed them a map of the site and a key each. As Cal lugged his bag outside, he examined the key. 'They gave us different numbers.' he pointed out. Caine shook his head and grinned, 'I've already told you, Cal. They put us in different cabins. What, will you miss me?' Caine smirked. Cal rolled his eyes, but didn't say anything more. They were just next door, anyway.

After a couple of minutes walking, they found cabins number six and seven. 'I'm off. Are you sure you'll be alright unpacking yourself, wittle Cally-wally?' Caine started making kissy noises to his brother. 'Shut up!' Cal jabbed Caine with his elbow, earning a yelp of pain followed by laughing 'I'll see you in a bit, buddy. Don't get lost.' Caine winked to his brother. He always gets far too excited and acts up like this. Cal made his way up the steps and onto the porch. The wood was damp and a bit creaky, but seemed like it would be a nice place in the summer. He unlocked the door and stepped in. 'Hellooooo...?' Cal called into the cabin, but nobody answered. He was by himself. Yes, first dibs on bedrooms. Cal shuffled his way in with his heavy bag and explored each bedroom, choosing the first one that he came across in the end. It would probably have a nice view from his room, but at the moment it was clouded with thick fog. Oh, well. Cal laid his suitcase on the floor and tossed his backpack onto the bed and began to unpack his things with the door open so he could hear when his new cabin-mate arrived.

Caine halted his pick up truck suddenly, sort of throwing him forward in his seat. Even though his truck was old, he often forgot the brakes were surprisingly good. He sensed his brother, Cal, glance over at him, but he ignored him and stepped out of the car. As his brother took off the tarpaulin on the back of the truck, Caine put his hands on his back and stretched backwards to ease his stiff muscles from driving. So, far it didn't really look like much, but the surrounding woods were larger and thicker than he had imagined. 'Looks nice.' he said, spinning 360 degrees to get a good view of everything, despite the heavy fog that had made it difficult to even get here. 'Let's head over to the Introductory House,' he began, sliding his deep red suitcase and bag from the back of the truck, 'This way.' Caine looked back to wait for Cal, who was fiddling around and putting gloves on. The Introductory House wasn't far, and it was easy to identify due to the sign outside. As they entered, there was a rush of warm air, which contrasted to the chilly air outside. Hopefully the cabins were this warm. A lady passed Caine a map of the campsite and a key, which he shoved into his jacket's pocket as he examined the map. It took him a matter of seconds to work out the route to their cabins, which were next door to each other as Caine couldn't get them the same cabin to stay in. People often have the misconception that twins cannot spend a second apart from each other, but Caine always liked to point out that he was a perfectly independent person, even though he loved Cal with all of his heart and soul, as he was sure Cal loved him. 'Thank you very much.' Caine smiled to the lady as he folded up the map, and followed Cal outside.
'They gave us different numbers.' piped up Cal. Caine shook his head, 'I've already told you, Cal. They put us in different cabins. What, will you miss me?' Caine grinned. He liked to tease his brother, but to be fair, Cal gave as worse as he got. It was only Caine's way of showing he was comfortable around someone.

Eventually, they made it to the cabins. Six was to the left, Seven to the right. 'I'm off. Are you sure you'll be alright unpacking yourself, wittle Cally-wally?' Caine teased, yelping when Cal retorted with a jab of his elbow, but his reaction only made it funnier. 'I'll see you in a bit, buddy. Don't get lost.' Caine kept his wide grin, turning to his own cabin number six. When he had to unlock the door he was sure he was alone. The cabin was bigger than he thought it would be, and even though it wasn't as warm as the Introductory House, it was still pretty toasty. He nodded his head in appreciation, before claiming the nearest bedroom. The quiet of the cabin was comforting, although he did feel a bit lonely without his brother who would usually be commenting what he liked and disliked about where they would be staying, which Caine would agree with. But not this time. Caine began to unpack to keep himself busy, and made a note to go see Cal when he was done.

ABELIAxDULCIA

Abelia had spent days in advance preparing herself for her pleasant get away to a local camping retreat, her mind filled with dreamy thoughts of the nights that she had been hoping to come, restless nights spent planning her outfits for various occasions that might arise, all the while silently praying to herself that an attractive, decent male might await her there. The thought made her roll her eyes, knowing how she envisioned the trip was too good to be true, uncovering her petite frame as she slipped out of bed and made her way over to her large window, opening the blind to allow the beauty of nature greet her. A gentle yawn escaped her as she gave a tired stretch, a soft groan audible as her deep brown eyes closed for a short moment. Opening her eyes, she turned her gaze to eye herself in the full body mirror she kept within her bedroom, a soft giggle escaping as she noticed the wild mess her hair had turned into, shaking her head at the sight of herself as she stepped over to her dresser and took a brush from on top of the oak wood surface, running it through the ends of her hair first to help and gently work out the tangles. Although restless, she felt a great need to try and catch some amount of sleep upon her arrival to the campsite, changing into a comfortable pair of clothing in which she would be more than pleased to lounge in. Besides, she was always rather chilly in any weather below eighty degrees it seemed, which isn’t much of an exaggeration. Rolling her eyes to herself before making her way out of her room, she was delighted to know all of her things were waiting for her in her vehicle outside, thanking her younger twin brothers in her mind as she entered the restroom nearest her room. Cleaning off her face with a warm rag, she brushed her teeth before she began to apply her foundation, small touches of blush, eye shadow, eye liner and lipstick following along to complete her basic look. It wasn’t much, but it helped to give her that extra boost of confidence that she enjoyed so greatly when around others. Having finished with readying herself for the trip, she went through the two story house, telling her family members farewell before she nearly ran down the stairs, grabbing her purse from the closet before she bustled outside and to her car. Shivering as she sat in the seat of the car, she quickly started the engine and turned on the heater, sitting in the driveway as she waited for the warmth to begin and comfort her. Abelia released a soft sigh as soon the warmth surrounded her, though it was nothing too overbearing of course, she was quite particular with her comfort levels of temperature. Humming softly to herself along to the various songs played on the radio, she made her way towards the campsite, the only worry in her mind as to how soft the mattress was.

In a relatively short span of time, Abelia soon arrived, her eyes showing a great display of joy as she parked her car, embarrassed by her own carelessness as she realized how crooked she was, but she simply couldn’t resist any longer, and shut the car off, heading to the building. Making her way inside, she offered a friendly, gracious smile to the woman behind the counter, stepping over to her, she requested a key to an available cabin, calling back her thanks as the door closed behind her. Out she went to her car, bags in tow as she closely followed the directions on the map, though immediately feeling rather silly, being as they were not difficult to locate by any means. She huffed under her breath to herself as she looked down to the small, golden key within the palm of her hand, seeing that it showed the number two, and having to retrace her steps, being as in her excitement, she had passed her destination. Entering the cabin in a near rush, she stopped to take in a deep breath of the comforting scent, making her way further inside. She busied herself for a moment with going around and familiarizing herself with the interior, along the way absentmindedly placing her bags within a room. Greatly disliking for wrinkles to be found in her clothing, she spent the time to place everything away in a neat and orderly fashion, looking over her work before tucking the bags away into the closet, and leaving the room, not bothering to shut her door behind her. Abelia was the type of person to have all of her faith in humanity, which has gotten her into trouble in the past, yet it seems as though she doesn’t dare doubt those around her for the sake of someone else’s mistake. Exiting the cabin, she glanced around, curious as to which one of the people making their way towards the cabins might be her roommate. She couldn’t help but hope for one girl in which appeared to have a very cheerful glow to her beautiful face, knowing that roommate or not, she and the girl would surely come to get along with one another. Stepping off of the porch, she made her way around the circle of the cabins, eying two young men out of the corner of her eye as they sat with one another on the porch, curious as to what they may be discussing, though finding no immediate interest to find out, instead her attention fluttering around to the various people in which surrounded her. Abelia felt nearly overwhelmed with joy, tempted to simply run around and envelop various strangers in one of her typical, warm embraces. A tall young man with dark, near black hair made his way into the cluster of cabins, attracting her attention from afar, telling herself she would certainly need to try and get to know him during her stay here, he was simply too handsome not to. Sighing softly, she made her way back to her cabin, deciding not to disrupt anyone as they unpacked their belongings, sitting on the edge of the steps that led to the porch of cabin number two, and her head resting on a small hand, supported by a petite, dainty arm.
