Althaia watched the small bird fly around the room mumbling, "a fire bird". Her eyes followed the bird until in landed back in Aidah's hand, "A Phoenix" she said, looking Aidah right in the eyes, a huge smile on her face. Althaia looked from Aidah to Kaden, eyes shinying, "bird squad go!" she said pumping her fist in the air and jumping onto the kitchen bench. "The phoenix, the mocking bird and the black bird are fending off the evil that has now entered my house!" She said excitedly. Jumping off the table, Althaia pointed in the direction of the stairs, "lets go!". As she pointed, her finger started to wobble, almost vibrating. She started to jump from foot to foot and her breathing and heart rate increased. "Not again" she sighed. When transforming her body mass produced Adrenalin for when she was flying, running around, etc. When she didn't use it, she had to get rid of it somehow.

Althaia started to make little circles on the spot, "so?" she asked as nonchalantly as possible, her words starting to speed up and slur together, "let's gogetthesepeople!"

Alex shrugged just as he heard the bell ring. "Well apparently that answers your question." He said and tried to remember his schedule for a moment. He hadn't been going to this school for that long so he still had trouble remembering it sometimes. "Anyway I have math so I guess I should get going. So unless you happen to have the same class as me, I'll see you later." Not waiting for an answer he went to his homeroom with a blank face. Scanning the room he quietly sat down in some random seat.

Vanessa walked into Math and just nodded at her brother. She didn't feel like talking to him as she went to sit in the back. She was still exhausted from yesterday and the only reason she wasn't in complete pain was because she had took pain killers earlier. You see, she hadn't realized it at the time but this morning she found out a couple of her ribs were probably bruised and one might be cracked. She also had a bandage wrapped around her arm where she had been grazed by a knife. Stifling a small yawn, Ness put her head down on her folded arms to see if she could get some rest without anyone interrupting her.

Kai walked from his place in the hallway, giving out fist bumps and highs as he went. He was quite popular, and loved the attention. His football friends often asked him why he hung out with the nerds, and he always replied saying simply, they are my friends. Finding his maths class, Kai pushed the door open and went straight to the middle of the room, dumping his stuff on an empty seat. Raking his fingers through his wave of hair, the class started. The teacher opened with a pop quiz, which Kai found difficult. Looking to his left he noticed the boy [Blake] sitting next to him flying through his test and by the looks of things, was getting the answers right. As discreetly as possibly Kai leaned over and began copying the boy's test.

Quinn Edan ● 17 ● Cyclone ● Male
Grumbling, Quinn stomped into his maths class, and went to the back. Leaning back on his chair, he pulled out his text and work books, then a novel. Picking up the novel he open the chapter three and continued from where he left off. He was completely engrossed in the book, and he jumped slightly when the teacher called the class to attention, causing him to drop his book. Quinn groaned as his book slid across the ground and under the desk next to him. Quinn peered to his right and saw that a girl sat next to him [Vanessa]. "sorry" he mumbled, leaning over to grab his book.

Danny would describe herself as an average teenage girl. What with the boy drama and the gossip magazines and the lip gloss, and the newest fad and cutest skirts. But in actuality, Danny is a sarcastic compulsive liar who couldn't give half a damn about what new lip smackers is all the rage. She's got an affinity for being a step ahead, she wants to be the smartest, the fastest, the wittiest. Unfortunately, Dan is barely passing her academics. She got into Richardson's on an athletics scholarship. Since the age of 10, shes been the second greatest marksman in her age group. Second only to a boy a year younger than her in Germany. Her mortal foe, if you were to ask her. She's still bitter, and training daily to be better than him. Motivated, dedicated, and power-hungry, Danny is a fireball full of potential, looking for any way to use her best (and horribly unpractical) skill in the real world. Friendly to all and always looking for a job, she is a loyal friend and a true partner in crime (for the right price).

Danny was born and raised by her two loving parents in uptown New York. Until the age of 6, when she entered the foster system due to her parents "accidental" death by blunt force trauma to the head. She grew up alongside plenty of other kids who came and went through the orphanage doors, but she herself could never find a home that would keep her very long. Danny was a problem child, always getting into fights and causing general chaos, and so she stayed in the Home all her life. She was clever though, knew how to get what she wanted and how to get around. To keep her out of trouble and subdue her dangerous and reckless tendencies, one of the nannies suggested she take up archery, an elegant yet powerful sport that required a focused mind, a sharp eye, patience and self control. Dan picked it up immediately, and by age 8 she was competing nationally, 10 worldwide. By the time she was 16, she started using her skill as a way to make some extra cash. Underage, overlooked, and highly capable, she put her 'nobody' status to good use and started work as a freelance hit-woman. A silent kill from a distance paid good money, she never asked for more than a face and a name, and that's all it took for her to make a career. With the help of the anonymous internet, no one knew who she was or where to find her, and she's gotten off scot-free to this day.

Aspen's smile slowly faded as he continued to speak. She now felt bad for mentioning anything about her own family, thinking it may just make Blake feel even worse for not really having one. "Oh. I'm sorry" She said. Her voice was quiet but she tried not to sound to sad. Hearing things that happen to other people always make her feel sad. "Your always welcome to come over and visit with my family, though my brothers can be a burden at times" Aspen offered a small smile following the statement. She wasn't exactly sure why she would offer someone to come over and meet her family when she had known him for only about ten minutes, but sometimes Aspen can be a little to courteous. "Well um do you happen to know when classes start? I would really like to check out the science lab before the bell rings" She said, mainly just to get the subject off of family. She glanced around the now more empty main room. She wasn't even sure where all of the students had gone off to.

Vanessa only noticed slightly when a boy sat down next to her. She opened her dark brown eyes as the teacher began talking and smirked slightly when the male jumped and dropped his book. Picking it up as it slid under her desk, Ness handed it to him. "It's okay." She said, her tone slightly amused. She glanced at the title as he handed it to him as she was curious about what he was reading. Before she could add anything else a pop quiz was handed out and they were told to be quiet or else they would get a zero. Not particularly wanting to fail, she started on it silently. It took her longer than her geeky brother and she probably had a slightly lower grade, but she got it finished.

As the teacher announced that they were having a pop quiz, Blake sighed quietly. Sure he had an easy enough time doing math, but he still didn't enjoy having to take so many tests. He was pretty sure that teachers loved them though and it wasn't uncommon for a random pop quiz to come up. Scanning over the paper, he begun to answer the questions. He was about three-quarters of the way done when he noticed the boy to his right trying to discreetly copy off him. He decided to say nothing because he didn't want to get anyone in trouble. Plus this guy looked like a jock and he didn't want to make him fail or get into trouble for fear of starting a fight. He knew how to defend himself since Vanessa had taught him when they were living on the streets, but Alex wasn't a big fan of violence. Answering the final question, he wrote his name at the top of the paper and waited a little bit to turn it in. After doing so, he sat back down until the other students finished.

Quinn went a bright red when the girl next to him handed him his book back, since it was tilted 'lock picking for dummies'. Quinn was actually quite smart, but all this villain stuff was new to him. He placed his book back in his bag and finished his quiz with ease.

Kai finished his test and handed it in shortly after the boy next to him did. He sat back down at his desk, with a sidewards glance at the boy to the right. Being polite he held out his hand for a handshake, "Kai" he said, "I don't think I've seen you around much, and I don't think we've talked before" he said, flashing one of his charming smiles. "Oh' he added, "You're very good at math by the way".

Vanessa had seen the book title but didn't have a chance to say anything until after the male turned in his test and sat back down. "So, lock picking?" She questioned as she looked over the guy. Some might consider him cute and even she had to admit that he wasn't too bad looking. He wasn't exactly a guy that every girl would swoon over but who was she to judge. "I mastered that skill a long time ago. The name is Vanessa by the way. Vanessa Hemlock."

Alex looked at the boy awkwardly before shaking his outstretched hand. "Um, thanks." He said as he let go of Kai' s hand. "I'm Blake but just call me Alex. As for not having really seen me around, I'm still pretty new. I just came here with my sister about a week ago." Offering the male a small smile, he kept his tone polite but friendly.
