noun the protection granted by a nation to someone who has left their native country as a political refugee.

you are just out of high school. All your dreams to become a doctor, or a singer, or a dancer are slowly darkening. You had so much spirit but you have been rejected for jobs and your talents were ignored. You walk the streets of New York. Kicking at the water puddles on the side walk. half the city has umbrellas but you don't. You let the sidewalk and stop lights guide you through the city aimlessly. You find yourself alone, no one in sight. You stop at the large black door and look up to read what's printed on the door. "native asylum" Tapped on the door is a letter. Asylum is a home for the mentally ill, but it's also a home provided by the government for someone not native to the country. In this case this is a home for people who are native to the country. Sometimes knowing your way around means things are harder. Open the door to your own safe heaven, go ahead, turn that golden handle." You open the door and music blares. The door is heavy, you have to shut it. Walking in you see dancers, gorgeous ballet dancers. Singers too. Waitresses serving delicious food. People smiling and laughing quietly. Everyone seemed to get along. A lady approaches you. "You are the lonely, we are all lonelys. Welcome to the Native Asylum."

the host is in charge of everything. He knows everything and is everyone's friend. They go to him for their problems. The crew man is the techy guy. He knows the building layout front and back very quiet. the bartender is a laid back silly kind of guy. a little shy to his workers but when your alone he's always cleaning his bar. the dance is the classy girl, snotty but ina way sweet. if that's possible. the singer is open for adventure and fun and new ideas. the waitress is a little alone ad wishes she has talent. Everyone acts in the plays together, everyone.
