Welcome to Dragonspire! This is a world heavily populated by... dragons! Yup, you guessed it, but no Nobel prize for you, sadly!

This is a fairly open RP, but there are a few rules...

1. This is not a semi-lit RP, but please, don't post one-liners, and please no chatspeak. If you have writer's block, PM me and I'll put you on the exceptions list, this means you can post one-liners until I see it clears up or you tell me.

2. No mary/gary-sues, powerplaying, godmodding, or anything like that, for help on this topic go here: viewtopic.php?f=85&t=1793523#p55550658 it's a great guide made by the knowledgeable Hekomi.

3. Go ahead and have a fast earth dragon, but please no, say, gilled fire dragons unless they are half water half fire or have water in their heritage. Prophecy dragons may have traits from other dragons, like a fire being able to breath underwater, but they can't have gills

4. PM me to have your dragon in a prophecy or make one, I have the plot for the first one, I just need to come up with the words, suggestions are welcome!

5. If the prince/ss is already made, there can be up to 5 royal children but they MUST be younger than the prince/ss

6. You may have 1 High position (Queen/King/prince/ss/Royal children) per tribe, but 5 altogether.

7. Don't kill your dragon of age, they are immune to its fatal effects, but they may get weaker in age which RESULTS in their death.

Types of Dragons and their traits:

Earth- Good: Heavily armored and deadly in battle, you don't want to cross paths with an angry Earth dragon!
Bad: Slow and can be a little dim-witted.

Appearance: Usually brown, black, earthen red or green with spikes curling from beside their ears, which are slightly fox like but a little larger than cat ears.

He would look more majestic if his wings were wings and not ripped stubs. He wears three golden necklaces, and may also wear other trinkets other days. His eyes are a slate grey, and he is...eh, larger than a horse I M I 35 I Has a huger hoard of every possible money piece, as well as gold and other treasures I Normally, he is a humble and wise King, sometimes even giving some money to the poor and having some orphans to be raised in the castle. He is the type to be a king, if not a little flirty.
But he looses his generous qualities when it comes to food. He eats a whopping amount of food, which explains his massive belly and size altogether. And one little secret; he loathes hybrids, finding them to be unnatural and not meant to exist. There are different types of dragons for a reason, correct? She has brighter green eyes and curved horns. Fire- Good: Flame resistant scales, breathe fire whenever, wherever except when in water.
Bad: Untrained ones will sometimes go up in flames and/or uncontrollably breathe fire while sleeping or without meaning to. Scales will sizzle in contact with water

Appearance: Usually red, gold, orange, black or grey, spikes like Earth Dragons. They usually have red, yellow, orange, black or amber eyes.

Status: They rank just below Earth Dragons, most common to live in the castle.

She is very social and is always on top of what is going on in her kingdom. She is very intelligent and strategic, and never backs down from a challenge. She is naturally very bubbly and peppy, but can be quite sensitive. So don't make her angry. But if you do, beware. When her wings, 30 feet in wingspan, unfurl, she becomes sinister and intimidating. Becoming cold and stubborn, she will stop at nothing to figure out what has happened, and the punishment for the causer of the problem. She is fiercely loyal, and filled with determination I her mother was an air dragon, her father half earth half fire. She believes mixed dragons are trash, and would be horrified if anyone found out she was one. She also has a rare disease that can cause her to go blind at random moments. No one knows this, because she fears they would treat her with less respect if they knew. Her strengths exist in strategizing, flying, fighting, solving problems and giving fair judgement. However, she has weaknesses too! They are her disease and hunting (she was never taught) Scarlet is afraid of her secret being discovered, the darkness, water and being betrayed. (Who isn't) If she ever has a mate, she want him to be smart, kind, good looking, patient, and never gives up. Water- Good: They range from a good speed to almost as fast as Air Dragons. Fire doesn't do much to them. They can breathe under-water (gills) and are excellent swimmers (webbing)
Bad: They can't breathe fire, only shoot streams of water. Earth causes some nasty wounds. Must tap into the water to use their power, so if they are in the Dry or Burned Lands, they can't use their power.

Appearance: Most colors, most common being blue, silver, grey or purple.

Status: Rank a ways below Fire, about half live in the castle.

Jett prefers to be alone, but likes to be with someone he can trust. He hasn't had any friends before, so he can be aggressive, Since Electric Dragons can control how much electricity they release. Young Electric Dragons are slightly like Young Rattlesnakes, and they can't control how much they release, so they release ALL of their electricity, making the dragon they strike, most likely die. Jett is very young, making him have that situation. Also he is slightly strong, a good swimmer, Can be kind, and quiet. The special power he has, is too break into others dragons minds, and talk to them. Ice- Good: They have a parallelizing hot freezing breathe that is powerful enough to freeze fire mid air. Scales range from easy to break to as sold as rock.
Bad: They can't breathe fire, their breathe doesn't work in hot climates, they are faster than Earth Dragons, but still slow, Fire will severely injure them.

Appearance: White, blue, transparent white, transparent blue, grey.

Status: Rank a little below Water, but few live in the castle.

He listens to commands well but still has a mind of his own. The male is often thinking of ways to avoid bloodshed and instead use clever strategy. Many find him to be friendly but very distant and dedicated I Cirrus was raised in the high courts with his father being a high ranked guard and his mother from royal lineage. He was raised in the ways of the guards and his father cared greatly for him. When he was around 9 he was attacked by an outsider air dragon. Novissime I She is light gray with white wings and milky blue-white eyes I F I 7,500 I Quite a stash I A little cold and mistrusting at the start, but she is very loyal to friends and family. She can be stubborn and difficult at times, but she does have a caring side. Like her brother, she doesn't like to waste time, though she will help those in need. She doesn't have the same level of patience as Zen does; she can be rather rash at times. Like her older sibling, she isn't a dragon you want angry at you, but she is far more forgiving and compassionate than he is. She doesn't really hunt down opponents like her brother does, since she is loyal to the Air dragons and also wouldn't want to waste time on petty things. However, she will hunt down does if commanded to by her leaders or if that for did something to truly anger her I She was abandoned by her father at a very young age because she was blind. Her older half-brother, Zen, soon followed, saying that their mother wanted him to do so. She lived with him for several centuries before parting ways and joining the Air dragons. Since she lived in the wild with her brother, she learned how to fight and is more than able to defend herself and others I Zen is her half-brother. She commonly gives money to the poor. Her meetings with her brother are in secret. She sneaks off to a hidden cave just outside the territory of the Air dragons if she sees her brother's signal (A small cross scratched in a rock or tree near the border. Leader: Ebony I A dark grey dragon with a black under-belly and eyes. I M I 20 years I None, helloooo, he's an OUTLAW not like he's gonna buy anything! I Cruel to enemies but kinder to friends, Ebony will kill anyone who displeases him- friend or not. On the right side of her face she has three long, thin scars along her muzzle I F I 16 I 1550 S x 7, E x 2, R X 2 I Bracken is usually calm and collected and not what you might expect from a dragon that follows Ebony. However, she has her reasons and can easily snap when needed. She will protect herself at all costs and never lets her guard down. Her demeanor is one that commands respects and honesty. This being said she is still respectful to Ebony I She was an Earth Dragon but has Fire heritage not too far back. She had an accident when she was a weanling that caused her to have an injury to her left front leg. She has large scars that cover it and can sometimes suffer from aches I .:*October*:.

Here's the interesting thing; he can change color. He normally sticks to dark colors, which are great to hide with.
His homelessness shows through a weak stance and his ribcage sticking out. Since he had to live on the streets, he is underfed and not too healthy looking. His eyes are a weak gold I M I 18 I 200 E X 1 I His lifestyle has molded him into a cautious and alert dragon. If you find him and seem like a kind dragon, he will approach like a wild cat being offered fish; slowley and carefully. Any one sudden movement can scare.him off, so a slow approach to him is best. He has never opened up to anybody, so any other parts of his personality remain unknown I Since his parents were hybrids, the King kept a close eye on them and hoped they would never breed with any other dragon. However, they bred with each other, which was the worst nightmare for the king. In anger and frustration, he sent the egg out into the worst part of the capital city. Further descriptions of each land:

The acropolis: This is where the Earth Castle is, in the center of all the kingdoms, where dragons gather once per month at the New Moon.

EARTH

The castle: This is where the Queen and King live, there are 7 bedrooms, 3 treasure rooms, as well as separate condos. The castle is a reminder of when the dragons lived in peace and harmony long ago, it is a mountain that was hollowed out, how is a mystery, but in truth, the long forgotten Moon Stone Dragons, with their large size, hollowed it out. There is also a dining hall, and each 'bed' is a stone slab frozen to the wall long ago.

The Guard Stables: Here are 10 separate rooms just outside of the castle, it's a hollowed out hill which the Earth's dug, then Water had their water heated by Fire's, then used to make the floors, the room is quite chilly all of the time, but the guards usually have pelts or thick scales to keep them warm. The condos hold a separate hollowed out cave for war spoils, as well as sleeping ledges.

The Condos:
Are caves hollowed out in the sleeping hall, with so many dragons, each cave is bigger than the Royal's rooms and each side of the walls hold two ledges.

The Servant Condos:
The ledges are smaller, and sometimes dragons fall off, each dragon has a cave at the roof in which gems are sometimes stolen from, even though the holes are usually only big enough for the servant to fit through. There can be as many as 5 dragons per room and as little as 2.

The Houses:

The houses rest in the acropolis, and each house is a large hill that can hold many dragons, depending on it's size, the richer dragons live closer to the castle, while the poorest live the furthest away.


FIRE

The Castle:

The castle is an extinct volcano That will erupt for a later plotwhich was hollowed out by Earth's and then then the Ice's froze the lava, which became a very cool (hot) ramp that almost disallowed access for Ice Dragons, but not quite. There are also frozen lava 'curtains' which the Fire's warmed up so they could move them. There are 7 bedrooms, one of which is inhabited, plus, like the Earth Castle, 3 treasure rooms and seperate condos

Personality:Scarlet appears as a petite and delicate looking dragon, with a kind and caring personality. She is very social and is always on top of what is going on in her kingdom. She is very intelligent and strategic, and never backs down from a challenge. She is naturally very bubbly and peppy, but can be quite sensitive. So don't make her angry. But if you do, beware. When her wings, 30 feet in wingspan( im not sure if that is correct, but just think of them as larger then average), unfurl, she becomes sinister and intimidating. Becoming cold and stubborn, she will stop at nothing to figure out what has happened, and the punishment for the causer of the problem. She is fiercely loyal, and filled with determination.
History:Scarlet prefers to keep that to herself, and to whoever her mate might be.
Fears:Her secret being discovered, the darkness, water, being betrayed
Secret(s):her mother was an air dragon, her father half earth half fire. She believes mixed dragons are trash, and would be horrified if anyone found out she was one. She also has a rare disease that can cause her to go blind at random moments. No one knows this, because she fears they would treat her with less respect if they knew.
