ALIX : I liked this spot. The territory was good, a herd settled nearby by a winding river. In the center of the territory there was a rock which had a hollowed out area below the top; a good lookout and den. But it wasn't home. Me and my brother were on the run for several days. But a bull moose whilst hunting had separated us...

I came across a pack; and fell in love with the lead hunter, when the alpha found out; he was killed... I had to run.

Everyone I loved died. It started with my mother and father, They were killed by a rouge who wanted to be alpha. My other brother by a hunter. I was sure my brother was killed by that moose.

I was alone.

ALIX :
It was morning, I hadn't realized I fell asleep; I yawned and sat up, I felt thirst build up in my throat. I walked out the den and climbed on the lookout. The herd was standing bunched on the west side of the river grazing. I did not want to disturb them; Not yet anyway. I would approach the river from the east. That way the bull won't find me harmful. I climbed down and began walking to the river.

The bull made me think about my brother and how I was alone. I sighed.

ALIX :
I had reached the river and lapped up the water; I could feel the bull's eyes on me yet the herd did not scatter. They probably heard of one the great herd and predator's laws given by the great council, long ago. That law included: "No hunting by a watering-hole, river or lake or face the penalty of death." In those days you have to abide by the laws or face certain death.

The rouge who took over my parent's pack surely must be dead. The immortal council does not accept rouges as Alpha's...
You have to have alpha blood in you. The blood was generally a glittering sliver, it has acceptations for being blue. Today, that's where I was going. To see the council. To ask them to become an Alpha.

ALIX :
I licked my lips; the water was refreshing. I walked over to the bull. He glared at me and grunted;
"While I'm gone, please chase out any wolves who enter my territory." I turned and went.
He grunted in reply.

ATER:
I watched as the alpha female contacted the bull moose. I snarled. She would not accept me... Probably she might... I watched as she walked past me. I let her go. I had the all clear to hunt here tonight. I knew where she was headed. She was headed to the council. But what she didn't know was for her own good...
I killed her parents.
