The Swimming Pool (Official Mercat Roleplay!)

Welcome to The Swimming Pool! This is a place for all mercats to come together and make some new friends outside of their tank, if they wish.

The Swimming Pool is, essentially, a very, very large tank. The floor is covered in sand and small pebbles, and various underwater plants grow. There are large rocks that form caves, and hollow pieces of driftwood as well. The water is deeper at one end, reaching 20 feet, while only half a foot at the other. Small fish, like minnows, swim around as well.

Rules

1. You must own a mercat to roleplay here.
2. Keep the physical fighting to a minimum.
3. No killing other mercats!
4. No mating, not even fade-in, fade-out. Mercats mate only to breed, and can mate with whoever they like, without affecting any relationships, so their is no reason to include it in any romances.
5. Try to include everyone.
6. Have fun!

I will add more rules if I need to, and I reserve the right to kick you out if you get seriously out of hand, but I give many warnings first, so nobody should have to worry about that.

Obviously I own Poseidon. XD

Poseidon swam around in the shallow end of the pool, weaving through a patch of underwater grass. He thought the pool looked very lonely.

I own Aquamarine

Aquamarine entered the very large swimming tank at the shallow end. She noticed that there was another mercat. Aquamarine swam towards the blue mercat.

Poseidon smiled as he saw the other mercat. "Hi there!" He called, stopping and waiting for her to get to him.

Aquamarine caught up with the other mercat. "hello." she replied. "My name is Aquamarine but you can call me Aqua for short, kay?" she said happily. "Whats your name?"

Poseidon laughed at her enthusiasm. "I'm Poseidon. Nice to meet you, Aqua." He smiled.

Aquamarine's gaze drifted around the pool. "theres not that many mercats here." she said. It was kinda obvious. Not that many mercats were swimming around.

Poseidon sighed. "Yeah, I know. I guess a lot of them don't realize this place exists." Then he perked up a little. "At least that means it isn't crowded! Want to explore with me?" He'd never been down the deeper end before.

"Sure, that would be fun!" She swam excitedly in a circle. "c'mon lets go!" Aquamarine loves adventure especially if she explores with someone.

Poseidon gave his tail a flick and shot off, looking over his shoulder to make sure Aqua was following. He walked his front paws along the bottom, weaving between the grasses and weeds that grew along the bottom. "Which direction should we go in?"
