The land of the Whiptails is certainly a unique and well-hidden world. If you choose to venture into the miles of forest that surround the main Whiptail settlement, you will be lucky to ever find it. But, obviously, you have found it if you are here, for you have gained the trust of a Whiptail Dragon and can call them a friend.

So, we welcome you. You are one of the few deemed worthy enough by the forest to see us and our hidden world. That means you truly are something special. Please, join us. You and your Whiptail are welcome here.

Hidden among the trees are unknown dangers to the Whiptail community. Along with the dangers roam the spirits of Whiptails from years long past. They are known collectively as the Forest, for they watch over all creatures within the enchanted wood. And among these spirits rises a new threat to the community, one that may just destroy their homeland for good.

Welcome to the Whiptail community. Here, everyone has a place and a job to do. Though some have more responsibilities than others and a greater influence in the community, most everyone is friends with one another, for true friendship knows no bounds.

A Leader's job is to make sure the community runs smoothly. There is typically only one leader, but there may be two if they are mates. A Leader is also granted the ability to speak to the Forest when they become head of the community.

The Whiptail that holds the place of the Deputy is second only to the leader. They are responsible for making sure the leader's orders are followed and are in charge when the leader is not present.

The Medicine Whiptail is the healer of the community. Most commonly female, this Whiptail has an extensive knowledge of herbs and natural remedies. They are highly revered, for they are the only ones who can speak with the Forest aside from the leader.

Warriors are the main part of the Whiptail community. Though there is little fighting, warriors are still kept rather busy. Each warrior is responsible for training an apprentice, as well as making sure the main community is kept hidden from any enemies that might dwell in the forest.

Queens are any Whiptails who are expecting or have Fluffies to take care of.

Apprentices are young Whiptails that are ready to begin training to become Warriors. As they become more skilled, they will accompany their mentors outside of the community to learn the ways of the forest outside the clearing.

Fluffies are the young Whiptails that have yet to become apprentices. They are kept safe within the clearing until they become apprentices, when they will sometimes be allowed to venture into the forest under the watchful eyes of the warriors that act as their mentors.

Elders are the older Whiptails. They are mostly retired warriors, but you will sometimes find a past leader among them. The Elders are popular among young Fluffies and even the occasional apprentice for their story telling skills.

Padma is bright and cheerful, but she is also kind and soft-spoken. She's always there to lend a helping claw if it's needed, but she can be shy around new people and WtDs. She's an introvert until she really gets to know you, then she's an open book. Just don't betray her, because her trust in everyone will shatter if someone hurts her in any way. If she tells you her history (a closely guarded secret that few know), you had better believe she will know if you tell someone. She may be kind and fragile, but she's extremely careful who she tells about her past. She can also have a tiny temper. It's really hard to make her mad, but she can be ruthless when angry.

Before Padma was even born, her mother decided she didn't want her. Once she had given birth, Padma's mother used her strong tail to toss her unnamed daughter into the nearby pond. She soon left, unwilling to watch her daughter drown despite her unwarranted hate. She was eaten by guilt as she walked away, but she had already made a decision and would not turn back.

Padma struggled to reach the surface, her legs flailing desperately for help. With a last ounce of untraceable strength, she pulled herself onto the shore. She curled up, shivering because of her wet fluff. She slept there, her fluff drying itself after a long while. When she woke up, the first thing she ever saw was a lotus flower blooming before her.

She never once understood why she was alone and she never knew why her mother had left her.

Years later, Padma had found a place where she was around others. But ever since she had been a young Fluffie, she had not trusted anyone but herself. She learned to speak by listening to them talking and laughing with one another. Her voice sounded strange at first, having not been used for many years as she was growing.

She stayed distant, making few friends because of her shy nature and broken trust. She told only one or two friends of her history after she had known them for many years. Padma was still excluding herself from large social gatherings, nervous to be around any WtDs she didn't know and couldn't trust. Actually, most of her friends she made after helping them rather than meeting them in a public setting.
