Sir Kelpie knelt by the basket, quietly praying.

Princess Akani

as more strangers gathered up around her and her sister, she felt both weirdly comfortable and unsettled at the same time, the 2 feelings conflicting inside of her. she was normally entirely alone at the bottom of the ocean, only watching the fish swim by and the seaweed sway slowly and softly to the sides and seeing so many people after a long while of living like that comforted her, however, all of them except for her sister were strangers, who she did not know the intentions of. they seemed friendly however, so she tried to calm herself down

Sir Kelpie got up, grabbing the basket to deliver to the princess and her sister.

Sir Kelpie walked in and placed the basket near the princess, quietly saying a blessing before he backed away.

akani watched the bright coral pink dog lay the basket next to her and felt reliefed. she would have smiled, only if she could.

Sir Kelpie watched everyone chatter and argue over Akani, internally laughing.

melancholy stayed silent, seeing the fish, merwolves, catfish, and sea lions pass. They were all so beautiful, and she was merely a dog. A dog that retreated in an evolutionary state, but staying like she had before. She was a simple dog that could breathe under water. How special. Everyone loved her sister, but hardly anyone recognized herself as a princess. Just the sister of Akani.

Sir Kelpie quietly rummaged through the bag until he found the peace offerings for the other princess. He quietly placed an olive branch, a cherry blossom branch, and a golden crown at her feet before retreating again.
