Akino padded forward to guide them, constantly looking back up to the sky" You would think its a hawk...but it is much much higher up than you think... and it is much more threatening than a hawk mutant or otherwise...and much much...MUCH bigger" he padded along, now being a bit quicker in his pace "If you ever see it coming down to the ground... Hide and pray" he closed his eyes and padded along the dirt path back into the forest. He went deeper in to it and weaved through some bramble before holding a branch back to show a decent sized pond where some fish swam around in. "This is the pond nearest to where I live, It is where I get my water of course..." He looked back up just to see tree foliage, safe from the bird before he saw storm bolt off to a small figure laying down in the dirt. It was pure white and his eye twitched as Storm greeted it. "Stop making a habit out of that...Would you race up to a pure white bunny laying in the dirt? With the change it could be a mutant that could then leap at your face?" He snorted before going to the water and lapping up some water

debris noticed the feline out of the corner of his eye. he shook his tail, and a wave of excitement quickly washed over on him. the feline looked un touched- it looked like a normal feline. well, one like them, because what would a normal, domestic feline be doing on some remote island? yep, it was obvious. he immediately dashed over, spontaneously yipping- he would easily be noticed by the feline- that was what he was aware of. what he knew was that most canines and felines didn't mix too well together, but there was that chance that they would mix simply, and just fine so they could fight off some of the mutants. he then glanced at akino, and simply barked, " the feline looks perfectly fine. it doesn't look much like a threat- it isn't deformed like the others ", he continued his pacing, and soon reached the feline. he yipped, " i'm debris! and you? " he simply smiled as he questioned the feline. he glanced up at the sky as he spoke, watching the creature in the air. the mutants seemed like a horrid thing to mess with, he would definitely not try to test one.

the molly lifted her head from her concentration and stood up, not shaking anymore. movement beyond where she stood, caught her attention. something made her shiver, what if they weren't like her. maybe they were, but kateri didn't take that chance. she lowered her tail and started to stalk closer to the group of animals. they didn't seem like a thread, one of them were pacing. maybe, just maybe. she thought, standing up straight and moving closer to the group. seeing the fox made her want to hiss, but she wanted to be safe, so, she waited for him to make his way closer. well then, debris, I'm kateri. she meowed, looking at the dogs behind the fox.

he soon approached kateri by one simple step. all he simply did was smile and state, " well, err.. ", he glanced around, and soon lifted his head. the creature in the sky seemed to still take it's place, and it didn't seem to move too close to him and the other creatures trapped on the island. " uh, nice to meet you ", he then stared at her simply, and stated, " you were trapped here too, correct? ", he sighed. just thinking of it made him burn with hate. " what the hell were they thinking? ", he grumbled, " they were too stupid to check we were fine. ", his voice trailed off, and his voice soon edged to a stop. he was just feeling simple anger, even though he was really, angry. he loved most humans, but thinking of the men in white coats just made him go blech. he sighed and just sat down, staring up at both sky and kateri. " anyways, did you just get here? ", the feline looked like she had been there, but was sleeping for the first hour. he had done so, too. the pain at first just tired him, so he chose to just lay there when he was exiled with the other creatures, and the other mutants.

Akino glanced at Kateri and snorted slightly, going back to the water before taking a few more sips. He listened to Debris's retort and scowled "I'm sorry? Are you an expert on mutants now? How long have you been here? Some mutants are not exactly deformed on the outside, but the inside." He glanced at the angora before back to debris "i seen a sparrow that looked harmless until it opened its mouth and spider legs sprouted from its beak like daises from the ground and sprinted at me, its mouth welling with venom" He sighed now, dropping it before he got carried away and looked at the cat "And you? You have a power? or are you like Artemis?"

debris just simply shrugged. he stated, " i saw them in the lab. the mutants commonly had outer mutations. well, most of the ones that were shipped here due to the exile. ", he then continued, " i think i may have saw her, however. my memory is faint, but i can clear something up. she wasn't going ballistic, that's all i remember. i'm a guesser, but i have a slightly good memory. ", he sighed. though, he was glad that the feline was perfectly fine, with a simple attitude, and one that wasn't just full of hate. but then, he lucked at akino. he may have explained it earlier, but he was zoned out at the time. " how did you get here before us, anyways? was there other tests in earlier times? ", he didn't see akino during his experiments, just faint memories of most of the others he just met, such as storm and kateri. it was mysterious- he was simple like them, with a simple ability, but with better knowledge of mutants, and a longer time span on the current remote island.

uh, i was, uh. kateri meowed, looking from the sky, to debris, I sort of just got here. she looked around, then her eyes landed on a dog, i have no clue how I got here, but, I'm here now. she looked at akino and examined him as if there was something wrong with him. so many questions she had to answer, I have one answer for you! she growled, yes!

something about the fox made her go uuh. but then the dog, he made her go what are you yipping about? she looked at debris and arched an eyebrow, what was he talking about.

Akino looked at Debris and frowned before asking "Tests? Lab? Shipped here?" He asked, "what are you talking about? I lived here all my life, only natural I know the land" he muttered and let his red eyes scan the ground under his paw and he dug at the ground to reveal a beetle under the soft earth which scuttled away. "I never met anyone who rambled about such weird things..." He eyed them, mostly Debris who rambled about the stuff

"Artemis." The fennec fox leaned down and gulped down a few mouthfuls of freshwater, quenching her thirst with the cool, clean liquid. "And by 'like Artemis', he means that you have no special ability." The small fox looked down again at those words and sipped from the pond's surface, a slack expression on her (kind of adorable) face, but her large ears were perked and alert.

Akino glanced at the sulking Artemis, not quite aware of her sadness, but barked "Hey squirt, Not everyone is blessed by the gods above." He looked up at the mass of tree above them, light reaching through the gaps. "Very few have been perfected like myself, just be grateful you were not chosen and were incompatible with their magic and destined to become a mutant." He sat down on the dirt with his head held high as he looked at the little fox "Power or not- that does not mean you are- er completely useless...everyone has there talents." He was completely oblivious to the venom in his words, having no intention of making her feel bad...but life always alone with no social boundaries, you had no reason to sugar coat and lie.
