Shadepelt's attitude seemed to change once Darkstar arrived. The dark brute earned his warrior intently for a moment. "You will tend to Skyepelt's needs for the remainder of the day. If she asks you for something you will do it. I will be with her the entire day to see to it that you follow thus order." He supposed he could have given him apprentice duties, but he didn't feel like that would be effective punishment. He bumped Skye's muzzle with his own reassuringly letting her know she wasn't going to be left alone with him. Not after that.

Skye longed to call out and sneer at Shadepelt, to call him the wimp, but it would do her no good. She sighed in relief and closed her eyes, relaxing with Darkstar's reassurance. She opened her eyes again and flashed him a quick smile as thanks before looking at Shadepelt.

So he was going to act like a pup about this? It was his own fault and ignoring Darkstar would do him no good. In fact, it would only make things worse for him. "I suggest you acknowledge your punishment Shadepelt. " There was a threat to his voice, deep and menacing. He felt Skyepelt relax which was a good thing, she knew she was safe then with Darkstar around.

Skye narrowed her eyes, noting Shadepelt's sarcasm. She growled softly in warning, making sure he heard and she called out to him. "To start off your day with us, you will give me a sincere apology and apologize to Darkstar for your behavior."

The response he got wasn't an ideal one. Sarcasm was to be expected from a dog in Shadowpack though so he wasn't all that surprised by it. He flicked his ears at Skyepelt's words. An apology? He didn't really need an apology, well not for himself anyway. He did want to hear Shadepelt apologize to her though and he looked at the brute expectantly.

Skye had assumed Darkstar didn't necessarily need the apology but she felt like it was a small way to repay him for helping her, even if it wasn't in the form of a gift or any nonsense. 'Your majesty'? she thought Hmm.. I actually like the sound of that. she couldn't help but have a tiny smile at her thoughts.
