it to the ground. " Just kidding! ", he smiled. He soon stared down at the ground. It ha
d changed to a burning temperature- he could see the steam, but he didn't feel it. he
shrugged. He then glanced at the other's, worried about their handle on the burning s
and. it looked hot, but he didn't know how the other's would take it. he soon glanced
away. he saw the warthog, it's deformity, and it being taken down by the other canin
es. he gasped, and he cocked his head. it was deformed- it was.. weird.

Artemis frowned up at Storm. "Uuh... well..." She opened her mouth to tell her about the sparks, when she was interuppted by a dark gray fox who had jumped into the conversation. She leapt back, warily eyeing the newcomer. "Artemis." She answered, her black eyes fixed on the fox. Another vulpine, but this one was bigger than her, with smaller ears. Not a fennec. "Nice to meet you-" For the fourth time today, the small fox jumped up as a gust of wind knocked Debris over and blew her aside, sending her much smaller body skidding across the sand. Static crackled across her body for a split-second as she got up, shaking herself. "It's alright. I'm sure you didn't mean it." But, honestly... she could float, and create wind? Storm would be someone to watch out for. As Artemis padded back towards the group, a sudden and loud cracking noise made her jump, once again. She whipped around, backing away slowly as yet another newcomer approached. First the wolf, then the fox, and now... a dog? She supposed that the more survivors the better, but on the day she awoke from a long, long, long slumber? It was a bit overwhelming. And this dog... it was different. Its voice was mechanical, which creeped her out. So did its glowing, red eye. And what was that heading towards them? Another survivor? Artemis leaned to side, leaping back at the sight of a huge warthog, marred with countless scars and a stringy, shaggy, black mane. Even worse, it didn't seem to have any eyes, if you didn't count the eerie green glow in its empty sockets, and its long, curved, jagged tusks... That was mutant?! What if that wasn't even a tough one?! Artemis continued backing up, imagining her small, furry body pierced on top of those terrible tusks as some kind of ornament. Why did she have to be small?! And just as the thought flashed through her head, a gust of wind swept towards the mutant, carrying it up into midair. And why did she have no special ability?! Storm blurred past Artemis and launched herself at the warthog, clawing and biting at the mutant until it was eventually murdered, its bulky body sent dropping into the sand below. Meanwhile, the strangely calm wolf lowered her paw, licking it as she was slowly and gently carried down to safety. Artemis bit her bottom lip. Why was she so useless?! And how were these two canines so calm after slaughtering? True, it was a mutant, but even the thought of blood made her feel a little queasy...

Akino seemed unphased as the fae killed the warthog with gusts of winds. He just turned to watch her float back to the ground, the warthog landing mere inches from him in a crumpled heap. Instead of being pleasant he narrowed his eye and the other let out a red beam than fanned out to scan all three of them. "vulpes...vulpes and a lupus...two female, one male...do not seem to be a threat...weak..." His voice clicked and shuttered, his expression unchanging before the light dissipated and he lifted his head and lowered his eyes on the small group "Who are you- where did you come from..." This time he sounded much more like a dog than his previous demonstrations and he took an advancing step towards them. He never met animals that had powers like him...they must have been blessed as well... In that case they could not be that bad "My apologizes for my rudeness... I have never seen you here before." Though his voice did soften, it did not get inviting

She blushed as the dog ascended and she said, "No worries.." She said cocking her head at his red eye and looking at the faces of the two foxes as she murdered the warthog. She chuckled and said, "I'm a wolf, I do it for a living, how am I here if I don't?" She said questioning the two, she looked back at Akino and said, "What is your name?" She dipped her head politely and sat down, eager to be able to float again.

Akino looked at Artemis and his gaze softened slightly. He could not really think of anything comforting to say to the obviously freaked out tiny Fennec Fox. He just shifted slightly uncomfortable as the fae asked him for his name and he avoided it and watched as she floated and asked "You all came accustomed to those powers of yours rather quickly...How so? It took me many moons for me too...Or did you get them when you were just pups?" Watching now as Debris burnt the ground with a paw before looking to Artemis "Er wait I'm sorry...You don't have a power do you..." Gods he was not used to talking to others, he was bound to say something dumb sooner or later and he was dreading it

"Artemis." She answered rather warily, eyeing the German Shepard. She kept quiet, listening to his words but still being prepared to run, frowning a little at the mention of the other's mastery of their powers. Suddenly, she felt aware of Storm calmly floating beside her as if it was as natural as breathing, and she felt waves of warmth coming from where Debris stood, as well as the oily wisps of steam that floated by. "No," she replied, feeling slightly annoyed but not showing it. Of course, she was the one without the power, the tiny, helpless one. "I don't."

She looked over to the dog and said, "I don't know, she said, twisting her paw around and the air moving with it. She looked over to the dog and asked again, "What should your name be, or should we call you, 'random dog who asks us a bunch of questions' ?" She smirked, and eventually started laughing, trying to keep quiet so none of the mutants heard. She looked at the small fox with pity, she saw as the fox had sped towards debris and said, "Run over to 'random dog who asks us a bunch of questions'" she said wondering if that was the Fox's power. She chuckles at her small remark to The dog and waited for Artemis.

Akino felt his eye twitch as she gave him an idiotic name , but refrained from lashing out with venom in his words and he replied in a cut throat tone "Akino- My name is Akino." He stood suddenly and said simply "Since it seems you have the means of protecting yourself, it seems I don't need to linger here any longer." He spoke and began to turn away, not even bothering to ask their names. "Just don't attract the mutants to me with your volume."

She looked at him, hurt in her eyes. She lowered and padded over to him and put her paw on his shoulder, "Please don't leave!" She yelped quietly, blushing and little, "W-We might need your help." She said whimpering a little. She took her paw off his shoulder and sat down, her bushy tail waving in the wind.
