"Diligence and preparation saves lives." Pixiu added after Aella's response. She shifted and there was a light sound of metal clinking from the bracelets and her tail twitched. "Same reason the patrols are on constant rotation. We have the protect ourselves and each other as much as possible, and part of that means training whenever able, and learning from each other." She looked back to the match, these two weren't terribly clumsy, but their movements were slower in the air than they should be in combat. "Mid-air combat is a difficult skill. It is also the biggest threat to a warrior." She added, flashes of memories passing through her mind.

"Ahh" Percy said with a short nod. "i agree. It is a good skill to have" He looked at the two in the air again then back at Pixiu "especially with the rebellion at hand..."

Pixiu looked back to Percy, watching him closely. "Precisely. With enough training we may be able to restore things to how they used to be." She paused, looking back to the sparring match and her wings fidgeted. So many little things that could be improved in their technique. She'd have to help them later. "But we're not ready yet. Everyone has to improve their weaknesses first... And we have to work on formations... So much training to be done."

Personality: haughty and serious, somewhat cartoonishly grumpy but wise in his own kooky way
History: since his youth, he's been an oddball. aggressively private and a complete bookworm whose favorite pastime is and always has been to watch the stars from the water. over time his solitude nurtured an open mind that was an excellent foundation for becoming a healer. since becoming a healer his life has been fairly uneventful, but he has guided many through hardship with his wisdom and foresight, making him well liked despite his strange and prickly manner.
Armor: he rarely wears it, but it is silver, dusty and tarnished with age, with a blue tabard hanging at the collar.
Extra: nearly blind with cataracts, which give his eyes a ghostly blue tinge that somewhat hides his pupils.

History: Midnight started as a warrior but when she was crippled n her back leg, she could no longer fight for freedom, so she trained to be a Spiritual Healer to still help in the fight for freedom.
