Sapphire sat with Desperado and sighed. "She probably did yeah." She was leaning up against him happily. Shaking off a rather odd cold chill she stopped and listened. Her ears twitched some as a howl was just barely audible through the air, at least from where they sat at camp. "Mournful wolf out there... I've got to go check this out." She said, scouting habits weren't ever going to leave her. Turning to glass form she ran tirelessly towards the border of the two packs. Once she got to the edge of territories she found a place where shadow would allow her to be almost invisible, and she stood completely unmoving there. What is this one doing? She thought watching to see what went on.

Hearing a long, mournful howl, Eagle's ears perked slightly. Lifting his head, he gazed around, determine the direction from which it came. Stepping forward, he quickly but cautiously moved towards it. He hadn't recognized the howl, so it wasn't one of his wolves. It wasn't a Moon Tribe wolf, was it? Getting closer to the source of the sound, a smell his nose. Rabbit blood. Stepping carefully forward, he slipped into the bushes, peering between the leaves to see a brownish wolf standing not too far off. It was a fae, and not one he knew. Sniffing the air, he realized that she didn't smell of Moon Trube either. A loner perhaps? Giving a small growl as warning that he was there, he stepped out of the bushes. "Excuse me, but you're on the Sun Trube's territory," he said is a calm and even tone, not threatening but with a small hint of warning.

A gray wolf stepped from the brush, his head and tail high. He was a large wolf, with dark markings along his body, and Sasha could tell he was along in years, but not an old wolf. He had a dominating posture, and from his scent and body language, Sasha could tell that he was an alpha. She cocked her head, and invisible beside her, Sheiko nodded yes. So this male was the leader of the pack she was seeking. He spoke, his voice calm, but with a demanding undertone.
The dark female bowed to the Alpha, her muzzle barely touching the ground before she stood tall again. She kept her head and tail high, not as high as he held his, but enough to show her confidence. "Sire, I apologize for intruding upon your territory. I come seeking a pack and a home to call my own. I can hunt, and hold my own in a battle, though I prefer not to fight. My name is Sasha." She kept her voice light and airy, trying to seem unconcerned that this larger male was near. But inside she was shaking. He could reject her, or even worse, set the pack upon her and kill her. As an alpha, it was his right.

The young fae bowed before him, speaking in a clear, confident voice, no threat seeming to lace her words. Listening patiently, he flicked an ear in interest. He found it interesting how com she seemed in spite of the sight of a larger, older, male stranger standing before her on his own territory. It took courage to keep peace in such a presence, he knew. "Sasha," he said, his voice it's usual calm but firm tone, "you come seeking a pack? What more, a home?" He left the words hanging in the air a moment, mulling over some thoughts in his head. She looked to be a strong enough wolf, and he certainly like her calm confidence, as it showed having good control over oneself. To take someone into the tribe without first consulting others would be ludicrous, he knew, and so making a decision, he held his head high and looked down at her. "Raise your head. There is no need to bow to me. Now, a pack I can provide you with, if you so desire. A home, however, is something only you can make it. If you would wish to join us, though, then you may."

Sasha lifted her head, wagging her tail slightly. Beside her, Sheiko was bouncing with joy. She would definitely make this pack her home, depending on how well the others took to her. She turned to the older male, slitting her eyes in a flirtatious manner. "Sire, may I inquire as to your name?" She liked the looks of the strong alpha, and the fact that he had accepted her so quickly made her insides quiver. Did he like her, or was it just a need for more members of the pack?

Nodding calmly, he replied, "My name is Soaring Eagle, but most call me Eagle. I'm the alpha of the Tribe of the Setting Sun." His tone was little less tense now, with no warning underlining it either. No he spoke more peaceably and with a kinder tone of voice. The fae seemed so far to be very polite, which was much appreciated. They needed someone to balance out Cayt's lack of curtesy. Turning, he stepped back towards the trees, looking over his shoulder at her. "Follow me," he said simply, turning again and setting off into the woods at a calm, casual pace. Unlike some of his wolves, he didn't always feel the need to run.

Eagle, a strong name, that suited the wolf perfectly. She liked the way he spoke, he was definitely a calmer Alpha than her father had been. Her father had been quick and snappish, always ready to bite and punish one out of line. She fell into step behind him, enjoying the feel of the sun filtering through the trees. Their paws crunched the fallen leaves, while Sheiko again moved with no sound. The ghost was flitting back and forth, from ranging the trail ahead to staying at Sasha's side. "Be still" she whispered to her, hoping her new alpha wouldn't overhear. The ghost lowered her ears, but stuck to Sasha's side. She could sense the excitement in her sister. Sheiko had been overlooking this pack for a week, just as a precaution, to find the right fit for Sasha. Once again the dark wolf wondered how the rest of the pack would take to her.

Sapphire watched the whole exchange between the alpha of the rival pack and some loner completely unseen. Who was rather easily accepted? Was it someone promised a spot some time ago? She didn't know nor have interest in knowing since she wouldn't. She returned to normal and relaxed. "Yet another member to the rival tribe. As long they don't suddenly decide to be aggressive. We will be okay." She said calmly before setting off back towards camp.

Zavala//Delta//Rising Sun

Zavala had heard the wolf's howl a little while ago. But now here came a new wolf with the alpha he had never seen before. "Good to see more faces in this lonesome pack. Once you truly accept her Eagle. Would you mind me taking her with to hunt? We need to fill the kill pile. Especially before Winter." He said probablt saying nothing really that the alpha hadn't already known.

Stepping into camp with Sasha right behind, Eagle was almost immediately confronted by Zavala, the delta. The brute seemed a bit relieved at the sight of a new wolf, and he couldn't help but muse the fact that most packs would probably be wary and suspicious of a new wolf entering their camp, not immediately assume the wolf is a new member and ask to take them out hunting. Snorting in amusement, he replied to his question, "Well, seeing as she has her own voice and mind, I would leave the decision to her, not me." He then looked back at Sasha, adding, "This is Zavala, the delta male in the tribe. He's extremely blunt, so don't take anything he says too harshly. He doesn't mean it."

As Sasha stepped into the clearing of the new pack home, she paused, lifting her nose to take in the scents of many wolves. Already one was approaching the alpha, a male with dark gray guard hairs and a hint of brown on his back and neck. The new male seemed confident, and was high ranking, by his body posture. He was speaking to Eagle, and the dark female could barely overhear them. She had just arrived and already he wanted to take her hunting? Her stomach growled, reminding her that a rabbit was not a full meal for a wolf.
Eagle turned to her, giving her the option to take the hunt, and introducing her to the Delta Zavala. She nodded her head to her new packmate. "If I may, Eagle, a hunt sounds good right now. It would be a nice chance for me to explore this territory." She hoped that the gray wolf didn't have some secret agenda, to take the newcomer out alone, for privacy to do horrible things to her. She had been tricked before by a seemingly friendly wolf, and she was going to keep her guard up to make sure it didn't happen again. "Eagle, could you join us?" She didn't voice it, but for now she didn't want to leave the Alphas side. And if she chose to use her powers, there was someone there she could trust while she brought the prey in.
