Not Stonepelt she said, that made him half tempted to place her as Stonepelt's apprentice. He wouldn't though. He looked thoughtfully to his deputy then tilted his skull for a moment. He threw his head back and made a howling noise. Not the same as a wolf, but for a dog it was pretty convincing. "Let all dogs old enough to catch their own prey gather around me before a pack meeting!" He barked out. Most of them were already there, but there were a few who weren't.

Skye heard Darkstar's howl and smiled to herself. She knew how to howl, but nodog knew that. She padded over to Darkstar and Sorrelpup and sat on her haunches, curious and attentive.

Sorrelpup, Shadowpack

Sorrelpup's fur bristled in excitement as she waited for the rest of the pack to gather.

she heard darkstars howl and walked to the highrock and sat down, she knew it was most likely for sorellpup.

Once everyone was gathered Darkstar turned towards Sorrelpup to speak to her. "Sorrelpup, you have reached the age of six moons, and it is time for you to be apprenticed. From this day on, until you receive your warrior name, you will be known as Sorrelpaw. Your mentor will be Thunderheart. I hope Thunderheart will pass down all she knows on to you". He spoke to her before turning to look at Thunderheart expectantly. "Thunderheart, you are ready to take on an apprentice. You had received excellent training from whoever your former mentor was(xD), and you have shown yourself to be Intelligent and Loyal. You will be the mentor of Sorrelpaw, and I expect you to pass on all you know to Sorrelpaw." After that he allowed them time to touch noses before he began to lead the clan in calling out Sorrelpaw's new name. "Sorrelpaw! Sorrelpaw!"

Skye was proud of Sorrelpaw and howled. "Sorrelpaw, Sorrelpaw!" Her tail swishing happily.

Sorrelpaw looked stunned and she stood tall, touching noses with Thunderheart. She was overjoyed to finally be an apprentice, and she was glad to have such an amazing mentor.

He watched the celebration intently for a moment, surprisingly calm given everything that has been going on recently. "Brownpaw, Sorrelpaw, Thunderheart, and Skyepelt...All of you make sure you are ready for the gathering when the time comes." He spoke to them, his voice hushed as he did not wish to interrupt them. He flicked his ears then looked about them moving off a little ways to sit down and watch them. He licked at his chest fur a content look on his face. He was more relaxed than usual. Shadepelt had been causing him a great deal of stress, without that dog in the pack Darkstar felt better, calmer. It was a relief.

Skye nodded to Darkstar then padded to her favorite tree. She'd congratulate Sorrelpaw formally later. Right now, she was preparing herself for the gathering. There would be other packs, and she had never been to a gathering before. She also worried about what plans Shadepelt had. A puppypet? He's hanging around a puppypet.. He must be desperate. If he's desperate... He might be weak.. Hmm she thrashed her tail as she thought then closed her eyes and focused on staying relaxed. She knew how to act at a gathering.

My first gathering.. And I'll be going with my mentor.. This is amazing! Sorrelpup thought. "So, how do we prepare for the gathering?" She asked Thunderheart, looking at her curiously.

Skye yawned and layed down, resting under the shade of the tree. She wasn't sure why, but she prefered to sleep here. Besides, any intruders and she'd be the first to know.

Sorrelpaw, Shadowpack

Sorrelpaw nodded then bounded into the apprentices den. She wanted to act perfectly at the gathering. Finding a good pelt to lie on, she curled up and fell asleep.
