Ark's tail swished behind him as Jeckyll's voice rose among the crowd, the shadows around him vanished. He had almost let himself fall to anger...something he'd been working on ever since he gained this power over shadows. He was glad to have John by his side, the flashes of light actually helping to cool his shadow powers down. He was once a fighter...once in the middle of those battles, he knew and understood loss. "Who doesn't think of revenge? Did I ever say to vanquish those thoughts... No. I know this is hard. I've lost those dear to me in those battles. Revenge is something that will always weigh on someone's mind when they've lost a loved one to another. It's common...I'm sorry I let my anger seep through. That was wrong on my part, but I want you all to take Bray's idea into consideration. As she said this is not meant for you to hurt each other, but to help express what you've been withholding." He let out a heavy sigh, I know right now, this is especially difficult for those of RavenRose, Vera was your alpha. From what I met of her she was strong and brave. We don't know what exactly happened, nor why someone else from RavenRose didn't get that power instead. But I will ask that you don't turn your thoughts to John. Do not suspect that he killed your Alpha to take those powers. Before this none of us even knew the power could be transferred like this. We don't know how we got these powers and we certainly did not ask for them. Our world has been turned upside down and..." His words were stopped short when Fury spoke up. His ears flicked, and he opened his mouth before shutting it once again. How was he supposed to answer that?

Bray's fur bristled at Fury's words, "And what did GrimShade do to SilverLeaf! Hm? Do you really want to sit here and play the blame game!" She didn't know what she was doing right now, other than the fact Ark was trying to do his best with what they had only to be slammed with doubt. She wasn't an alpha, so perhaps her words would mean nothing to them. "Absolutely none of us who have stained our teeth with the blood of another should try to put the blame on another. There was a lot wrong with how our packs were being ran and we all know it. Sure protecting our borders was always a thing, it was natural but the amount of fighting that was happening? There was nothing normal about that and if you can't understand that then something is wrong...I honestly find it to be a miracle that any of us are alive today! You...Fury...how many have you injured and killed? Do you know that number? Jeckyll how about you? Do you remember their faces? Those of us who have harmed and killed other wolves hold no right to play the victim card. It would be foolish and unfair to those who were unjustly caught up in the fray! Change will forever be difficult, but sitting here arguing about it instead of trying to find a way to agree about it will get us nowhere!!!" Bray's words finished as an almost shout. Her eyes closed as her body trembled.

Zen was about to join in until Bray started to speak again. He was honestly shocked at how brazen the she-wolf was being. Usually, she was silent, yet here she was barking up a storm. Yuki trembled now, the tensions among the pack were rising, but Bray's words scared her. As a hunter, she never really thought about how much wolf blood fighters shed. It seemed like the meeting would go in circles now...they didn't need her there and she really didn't want to be there. She wouldn't be missed.

It was a place he had wanted to share with someone. Now that he had a mate she'd be perfect, it wasn't super special but in his mind it was beautiful. The two of them were seemingly off in their own little world.

A tough looking loner was making his way through a former pack's territory, following the elk herds with his small pup Firelight.
The loner had a scarred face and an indifferent air about him that scared off most rivals but if his looks didn't scare them off his fighting skills did. He saw Firelight struggling to keep up so he decided to let her rest, he laid down and the pup snuggled into his side, while he kept watch.

He wasn’t asking because he had a crush on Arathorn…well…maybe that was part of it.

For one thing, Skye is a girl…You’re just different than Ettore, I don’t know how to explain it. I don’t want to be around him like I want to be around you. Though he’s definitely tried to get me to play with them before.” He shook his head a couple times. “Hey, we didn’t all kill…the healers don’t kill, and my mama and aunt sure never killed anyone.”

The short furred, handsome golden-brown/'dirty blonde' male sighed. He bared his teeth a moment, then shook his head. “Thank you Ark,” he said, when the other seemed to defend him. He couldn’t believe some fool thought he’d harmed Vera…A growl rumbled through him, though quiet. He forced himself to stop that, and looked to Bray as she got angry as well. He nodded to what she said, as she was quite right. He touched his nose to her to try and calm her, and said “bray is right, arguing does nothing for us.”

Each of us are the only ones left from our packs…We can’t go back, and while I’m sure some might be able to survive on their own, would they want to? Loners don’t have healers…and it would get lonely out there. I don’t know if it sounds bad, but I for one am glad we came together.”

The fluffy black wolf went to the place again. Her reddish brown eyes actually widened when she saw him. She knew he’d be out here…she’d just known it. She’d thought she’d found the familiar male again. She felt joy, but also worry. He was a loner, like her…plus he had a pup. She didn’t think he’d even remember her. She sighed and shook her head, and just watched them. Before hearing a sound and looking over, then doing a double take…and yelping. Riia had followed her…and great, now Cloud and that pup knew she was there.

The fluffy light brown she wolf laid stretched out on her side. She was still asleep, turquoise eyes shut against the light of the world. It hadn’t registered yet, that the warmth at her side had gone…She had no idea Tifa and Denzel had gone out, and Riia had followed.

Those six packs which remained in this land are now gone, there is only this pack, whose name we could start discussing instead of this pointless argument about our past lives" he kept saying.

So if we are to really move on...to take a big step away from the separation we had known then we should switch this discussion to the task of creating a new pack name!" He thought about it for a moment, trying to think of any possible way to combine their previous pack names. However, it only led him to horribly long names that no one would ever remember. He let out a small sigh, "I'd say to make sure no one feels like there is favoritism, the words, Silver, Leaf, Amber, Moon, Grim, Shade, Raven, Rose, Frost, Drop, Dawn, and Stone shall not be in the options. Are we agreed?" He took note of a few wolves slipping away but it didn't bother him too much.

He half expected Ark to say something about combining their names since he was on and on about them all getting along and coming together. But much to his surprise Ark suggested excluding all related pack names from the options. "I guess that's not bad..." He said before relaxing a bit, for now, he'd drop his protests. He was starting to get a headache from the back and forth.
