The R.A.C.s (O&A)

Deskima was silent. She didn't know where she was or who was there. All she knew that it was dark and she liked it. Her eyes glowed blue, only to reveal to her that there was nothing to see, as she couldn't see out at all. She made a soft hissing noise, trying to ward off any potential danger. She tried to curl up into a ball, only to realize that the amount of room in her current container might shrink around her. She didn't move.

Louis pawed through the box some more and glanced at the parts. There were some optical sensors and replacement paw pads. He didn't find much until he came upon what looked like a black rope. "What in the world?" he muttered.

Deskima felt stuff being cleared off of her. She managed to burrow through what she now recognizes as spare parts. When she got her head to poke through, her eyes were met with a confused looking dog.

Louis first recoiled in surprise but then he smiled at the small snake, "Hi there. My name is Louis."

"What's going on?" Oswald asked.

"There's a snake in the box," Louis replied, "What's your name?"

Deskima looked almost concerned at the situation she was in. What was she to say? Eventually, with a voice that seems to change from male to female and back, she said, "M-m-m-me i-i-i-is n-na-amed D-d-d-deskima" She realized why she never spoke in her battling years and hissed at herself, as she slithered out the box into a dark corner.

Louis backed up a little as the snake slithered out of the box, seemingly out of frustration or fear. She slithered off into a dark corner, which the nearest one was under some shelves. Louis gave chase and stood laid down on the ground next to the shelves that Deskima had went under. "Hey, it's okay," Louis smiled, hoping the snake would see it, "Are you scared? There's not much to be scared of here, except maybe Addison." Addison wrinkled up his nose as Oswald snickered. "You can come out. Maybe you could meet Sanya! She's nice. Moira and Lydia like telling a lot of stories. Maybe you can listen to those," Louis gave the snake a couple options to come out from under the shelves.

Deskima curled up, her head sporadically twitching. Her hood unfolded, revealing a dark purple hood with a dark blue jagged line going across. She tried not to be threatening but she couldn't help but feel she was crowded. She lifted her head a bit, lasers exposed from her hood. Her right eye seemed to cave in on itself, letting a black turret show through. She was in a more defensive position, ready to protect herself.

Louis's brow furrowed, "Woah there, I'm not trying to hurt you. You're okay. Do you want to stay under there or something?" Louis really didn't want to hurt this newcomer but if he needed too, Louis was willing to protect everyone.

Deskima's head seemed to collapse, her right eye returning to normal. Her hood folded back up, hiding the lasers once more. Finally, Deskima thought, an choice where battle need not exist. She curled up, trying to hide herself in the dark corner. Her head continued to twitch.

Louis allowed a tiny growl to escape his lips. He then returned to the group, "Looks like they aren't budging. I think they called themselves Deskima. I hope they won't get too bored."

"Addison and I could get Moira and Lydia. Then Deskima shouldn't get bored," Oswald smiled in delight of his idea.

"I think we should leave them alone for a little bit," Louis turned back to the corner then back to Oswald, "I think it would be wise to just let everyone know that there's a snake in here now."

"That's probably a good idea," Oswald's ears lower a slight bit. He seemed a little upset that Deskima wouldn't meet Moira and Lydia.
