Ensworth Academy for Gifted Youth

Ensworth is a private academy
dedicated to providing gifted
individuals with a safe place to
master their power whilst
simultaneously furthering their
education. School secrecy and
student privacy is paramount to
Ensworth Academy and all
current attendees, so we ask that
you keep this booklet and all other
Ensworth-related documents in
a safe private location. Additionally,
we ask that you keep all known
information about Ensworth
between the school and your
attending child.

Now that we have that out of
the way, thank you for your interest
in Ensworth Academy! In this
handbook you will find all the
necessary information about the
Academy before you apply your
child to our year-round program.

Here at Ensworth, our one goal is
success and mastery in all things, be
it honing one's powers, expanding
academic knowledge, and preparing
oneself for the real world. To achieve
this we offer common-core classes and
a plethora of extracurricular activity,
listed below.

𝔠𝔬𝔪𝔪𝔬𝔫 𝔰𝔠𝔥𝔢𝔡𝔲𝔩𝔢
7:30 - 8:00 AM -- homeroom / morning study hall
in this class, students may take time to work on whatever they need. students
may also spend this time at the cafe or gym.
8:05 - 9:00 AM -- english
in this class, students learn standard english.
9:05 - 10:00 AM -- power studies
in this class, students study gifts and talents, including: how to control them,
what gifts and talents exist, and notable people with gifts and talents who have
merged into the real world in secrecy.
10:05 - 11:25 AM -- power gym
in this class, students spar with others and hone their powers.
11:30 AM - 12:00 PM -- lunch
students are dismissed from the school to go to the village and eat, or to
go the cafe if they'd prefer.
12:05 - 1:00 PM -- maths
in this class, students will study common core maths.
1:05 - 2:00 PM -- world history
in this class, students will study history around the world.
2:05 - 3:00 PM -- science
in this class, students will study common core science.
3:00 -- dismissal

𝖊𝖝𝖙𝖗𝖆𝖈𝖚𝖗𝖗𝖎𝖈𝖚𝖑𝖆𝖗
battle club
students attend this club to spar and practice their powers.
the library
students can use this facility to study, read, and hang out.
the village
since ensworth academy is located on its own private island,
students have the option to go to a school-ran town with local
restaurants, stores, etc.
notable village locations:
the diner: a classic, 50's-style diner
the bookstore: not quite the library, a more local
and relaxed place to purchase books
the beachfront: a small, sandy shore located at the
edge of the village where students can hang out on a sunny
day.
the scratch: a secret gathering of rebellious students
that happens post-curfew at an old abandoned shop near the
outskirts of the village. if you're looking for trouble, you'll find
it here.
engineering, health, sports, and more
students also have the option to partake in multiple normal
extracurricular activities that they would find in any other
common academy in the world.

does not matter if it 'wasn't in the rules.
3 // do not godmod. give other roleplayers a
chance to respond to your actions. do not attempt to
kill other players, unless you've agreed to it ooc.

has flaws.
6 // minor swearing is acceptable, but do not
forget the tess ruling on swearing, as well as

these rules may be broken with the only punishments
being in-rp. (truthfully, i would prefer them to be broken. it's
a lot more fun that way.)

1 // curfew begins at 11 PM for underclassmen. curfew
begins at 12 PM for juniors + seniors. curfew is
nonexistent for those above 18.
2 // do not use your powers outside of battle club and
spars unless given permission from ensworth faculty.
3 // boys may not enter the girls dormitory, and vice versa.
4 // be on-time to all classes and mandatory events.
5 // attacking fellow students with an intent to harm is
NOT ALLOWED under ANY CIRCUMSTANCE.
