"It began so fast.Whether you were watching tv with your family, or still at work,
everyone was minding their own business, till a few people began to act, different.
Then there was more, and more, and more. The main towns were warned, they
tried to evacuate people, but there was no where to go. Eventually they were
everywhere, and there was no where to run. all people could do was hide and
hope for safety. Most Frantic five days. "
"They're all only getting worse, day by day its getting more dangerous to be out
there, anywhere. Many people have hidden, some have stayed outside and used
the end of the world as an excuse to go crazy, against the law, because law
no longer exists. The government tried to keep these past five months under
control, even tried to continue a functioning society, with no success. well,
they're attempting to create 'quarantine zones' towns which are being
cleared from the infected, A work in progress to say the least.
"10 years. 10 bloody years. and we're still alive, but they're also, still 'alive'.
No they're not people anymore, it's all monsters wandering around and nothing
more. I wish I could say I'm only talking about the infected too. But I can't.
Towns have developed as well, it wasn't easy but a few places have succeeded,
but not everyone stays in these towns,they dare to sleep among the monsters."

Georgia. The state's low population density, large number of Walmarts, military bases and hospitals, and high rate of gun ownership make it a great place to ward off impending doom. Off course its not just about that, the town also has plenty of the more natural aspect. The Ocmulgee River passes through Macon providing water, and off course the animals that live there are a source. but the positives of the place cause it some negatives. For a rogue the place is doomed, as the town centre has been blocked off with large 'indestructible walls' and a community has developed in there, they believe the resources belong to them, even outside the walls. The town also took a lot of damage quite early, so many buildings are nothing but overgrown ruins. the further from the town centre the less damage, but the more of the dead.

About two years in, the military began gathering left over people together, in order to develop a powerful structure which would cut off whole areas in order to make them habitable. Many were in development but only a few were actually complete due to many complications. One of them was the centre of Georgia. Tall and thick walls developed from mixed materials were built, strong enough to hold back a speeding car. then the inside was cleared and people began to settle down. At first the whole community was made up of soldiers, workers and volunteers, but over time with the help of signs and the sent out radio signal, people began to arrive, and soon enough the town was populated. Money has no value anymore, so in order to get things you either use the 'ration book' or exchange own items for better deals. There are jobs, there's a lot to do in a place like this, certain ranks guarantee certain living conditions. Things are incredibly strict in the town, mostly because of the current leader. originally it was a well minded high ranked military who controlled the development of the safe zone, they died as soon as the building was done of shady causes and the deputy took over. they now control the safe zone with a strict hand to keep things perfect. I wouldn't call them a megalomaniac, but they sure don't like to share.

the surrounding area of the safe zone is generally empty, only the occasional daring rogue but its hard to survive there bearing in mind the safe zone's efficient work to clear the area out of supplies, not to mention their threat, for they aren't looking for more members with their high population, scavengers and guards tend to attack. Despite the threats a small group began to grow, with a specific aim to overtake the safe zone, only recently did had they developed enough to be a more notable threat.
