Wynter stopped when she reached the middle of the forest, and fell to her knees. She made a small flame in her hand and played with it in her fingers. One of her friends had taught her how.

"I'll be right back Negra, meet me at my apartment, Bandit will take you there..", the bird arrived and landed on her shoulder. Jaxson turned into a wolf and took off, following her scent.

Chris had gone home, seeing nothing he could do to comfort his sister.

When Wynter heard Jaxson approaching, she let the flame grow bigger and she whirrled on him. She had the flame so it could leap out of her hand and scorch his pelt at any moment, but she didn't let it. Instead a tear fell down her cheek and helped put the ember out. Soon after the first, another followed. "What?" she asked darkly. "Aren't you happy with your girlfriend you actually care for?"

"Stop it...", He walked over to her, the pain in his head growing.

"All of the pain is because of you. I let my guard down for you and you repay me with 'oh, I never really liked you. It was a dare.' Do you know how long those words haunted me?" Wynter growled, her wings flaring dangerously. Her eyes flashed a shade of bright red, daring Jaxson to say something pertaining to the subject with her.

"You knew it was a dare, and those weren't my exact words. Do you know how long I've been looking for someone to feel that gap?", he said gently as he lay down, his fur sticking up.

[pika.girl]

"It still stung. Because...because I...because I love you!" Wynter growled loudly, and her defensive and menacing appearance faded. "It hurt hearing it from you, even if I already knew it was a dare..." she said helplessly. She folded her wings back and fell to the ground again, her hair concealing her face as she cried silently.

He didn't want to upset her more. Jaxson lay his head down and whined, thinking.

Wynter looked up, her eyes shining with unshed tears. "If you told me you fell for me too, it wouldn't be this bad...but obviously you didn't..." she said to Jaxson. She formed the little ember and started playing with it again. "Chris isn't here to save me this time, he saw nothing that could be done. You can tell me anything, I'm all ears."

"Wynter, I did have a feeling for you, but so did Carter.... I thought you didn't love me because you said you only agreed to it because if not if have to do all that crazy stuff...I decided that, well, if you love something set it free and if it returns its yours. But you never came back....", He said, not wanting this to go too far because he had finally found someone else, Negra.
