He panicked, "I'm so sorry!" He replied, immediately pulling out a gudetama towel and wiping the parfait remnants off the stranger. "I'll pay for it," He said, reaching into his pocket to grab some coins, "How much did it cost? Was it special." A tear ran down his cheek, "Don't hate me."

[i'm so sorry...]

with a hand left hanging in the air, haruka watched the one who had apparently bumped to him apologize and offer to pay for the parfait. sure, he felt angry, but not angry enough to lash out at the stranger. seeing a tear run down his cheek, haruka tilted his head. "are you... crying?"

[oat]

Kazu.

"No..." He replied, quickly wiping away the tear. "I just felt really bad." He looked at the stranger, "P-please don't hit me." looked down at his feet.

[i'm so sorry...]

the boy raised an eyebrow. odd one was what he was. never in his life, in all that he remembered, did he meet anyone who'd feel bad enough to cry and assume someone like haruka would hit him for that. "i won't hit you," he promised. "i don't know any fighting techniques, so..." haruka shrugged. "it's okay."

Kazu.

His face lit up, "You're so nice," He said, "Would you mind if i bought us both a parfait and we got to know each other?" He asked enthusiastically.

[i'm so sorry...]

haruka gave the boy a small smile in return for his compliment. so far, he seemed pretty nice for someone he had just met. even more when he offered to buy a parfait. as if a switch had been turned on, haruka's eyes gleamed with the idea of getting another parfait. "i don't mind," he replied to the boy's offer, trying not to seem greedy. "can't resist cute things, right?" in his mind, haruka meant the parfait, not the boy.

Kazu.

He smiled bashfully, "O-okay, I'll be right back." He walked into the store, pulling out a pink flower printed coin purse. He loved meeting new people.

[i'm so sorry...]

instead of sitting still on the bench, haruka quietly followed behind the boy, he couldn't let him pick the wrong parfait, at least that was his reason to follow him. his sharp eye caught sight of the coin purse with a slightly questionable design. peeking his head over the boy's shoulder, he said, "quite nice coin purse you have there."

Kazu.

He smiled, "My sister made it for me," He said, "It was a present."
He sifted through the purse for coins, "What flavour parfait do you want?"
He asked, "I was planning on getting banana cinnamon."

[i'm so sorry...]

"wah, that's nice." haruka smiled at the story. "if you're having banana cinnamon, then i might as well have it, too." haruka winked. "but let's share, okay?"
