Soren nodded to his sister, grinning. "Yup, ready as ever," he responded. He nodded to her thanks as well, chuckling softly. He blinked as she pointed out that snacks weren't a problem, and hummed. "Ah, right. I'm not used to that option~" He grinned, relaxing his stance a bit. No need to hold himself tall or be tense. "We make a good pair!" He was happy to say that, always feeling a little out of place. He found it harder to find things to do with his siblings, never comfortable enough to try and engage other people in his hobbies. This was refreshing and exciting to him. "As for getting out..." He hummed in thought, lowering his voice again. "We're both very quiet, so sneaking isn't a problem... though admittedly, I usually wake up early to get out a bit easier." He tilted his head, thinking about what time it was. If he got a good enough idea, he could probably map out a safe route in his mind.

" Me too" She said brightly, adjusting the strap on her satchel once more. Basil was just a little nervous about sneaking out, but it was exciting too. She smiled back at him, giving a nod. "We do make a good team". Basil loved her siblings and always had their backs when they needed her. Basil nodded, looking around the halls. " I think we can make it out without any problems" She said quietly.

Josie saw something in the cheetah's warm gaze that made her think twice about feeling in danger... Until the gray-furred leopard turned into a freakin human and freaked her out. Josh stole one last glance at the annoying boy behind him before disappearing around a corner. He had no specific place to go, so he continued his wandering until the smell of food caught his stomach's attention. "Right," he muttered sarcastically, "Breakfast is a thing now." with a slight eye-roll the olive-skinned boy searched for somewhere to eat.

Addison knew she was growing nearer to the male when the bond between their minds became stronger. Scrunching her legs beneath her she leaped into the clearing, landing without a noise next to Leo, to her horror, Aurora shifted in front of her. With a small growl, she focused her attention on Aurora, "Aurora, please stand down." she hissed mentally. With another flicker of interest at the human at her agile movements, she murmured telepathically, "Aurora, could you take Amille back to camp?" with another glance at the human she stood and opened her maw, uncomfortable with having to speak, "What is your name, human?" she growled through clenched teeth and had to keep her claws from unsheathing. She was tempted to shift, just so talking didn't feel so weird. Her muscles tensed at the human's reply, and her flaring anger was evident in her posture. The mountain lion looked poised and ready to spring. A small snarl threatened to spill over as she fought to control her temper. Since the other howlers could see her thoughts, there was no use in trying to hide them, Leo... A little help? She seems... Interested,
in you. Besides, your not usually as- belligerent, as I am. she chose her words slowly, hoping that would help calm her down. She was freaking out, there was a human on her land and she knew she couldn't... No, SHOULDN'T kill it, but the prey drive and intense emotion sent her stomach reeling.

Aurora could sense Addison before she arrived. The human had backed away at her touch, and it took all of strength not to lunge at her. She knew they were fragile beings, and were so easily broken unlike the Howlers. The female alpha told her to stand down and her pupils became slitted, turning into her leopard's eyes as she turned back to look at her. Her teeth became sharper, pricking at her lips. The animal side of her was coming out but she controlled it. "I wasn't going to hurt her." She turned back to face the human and she hesitantly took a step away from her and back next to Leo and Amille. Addison asked her to take Amille back to camp, and Aurora transformed into her leopard form. She tilted her head and stood still. "Is this for my own good or Amille's?" She had a sense that the female alpha didn't want her there. Sure Aurora had a temper, but it wasn't that bad.

Okay. Amille was kinda mad. Not only was she going to miss all the fun, they thought she needed a baby sitter. How rude she was plenty old enough to take herself back to camp. But she complied,worrying that she wouldn't be able to come out into the woods alone anymore. She complied, but wasn't happy about it.

Soren grinned, beaming at her response. "Glad you agree," he spoke cheerily. He tilted his head and nodded slowly, keeping his wings closed in close. He knew they weren't at all helpful for sneaking out. "Yes, we should be fine. Confidence is key in getting away with these things~" He held a confident tone of his own, not really too worried. "You know where the caves are, right?" He asked. He was sure she did, but he just wanted to make sure of it.

Leo quietly and patiently processed the whole situation. There was far too many emotions mixing around for him to decide how he should feel so he was glad his Alpha told him what to do. His tail curled slightly, feeling a little arrogant and cocky that the human liked him better than all the other animal forms. "No one can help loving these spots" he said proudly, trying to diffuse the tension in the air. He moved forward towards Josie, not shifting just because he assumed they really didn't need the girl freaking out anymore and because he felt more confident in his animal form. He purred as he circled around the human though not in a stalking manner but just curious than anything. "'She's a human Alpha. I'm here, your here, and I assume we are quite proficient in cutting down enemies whether it be wild bears or a human so" he sat down next to his Alpha, looking towards Josie but speaking to Addison " Shall we be civil? I mean...only a wild animal would kill a human"

Arkady weaved into between the wandering Quell, trying to get lost in the crowd. She could hear the prince behind her fussing over his now lost book which she had just stolen. She quickly glanced down at the book before stuffing it into her satchel. Alice in Wonderland? It was a children's book, but since it was from a royal, it would surely go for a high price in the market. She looked behind her and could see the white-haired prince speaking to someone. Arkady made eye-contact with them, and her eyes widened before turning away. Her red cloak billowed out behind her and she raised her hood to cover up her distinguishable hair that was as clear as day light among the Quells. That single book was her savior, and would hopefully be enough to feed her and her fellow outcasts. Arkady sped up and began to run.

Josie watched the cheetah curiously, her interest stirred and awake at his strange behavior that was unlike the other.. three? There were so many now. She huffed gratefully to Leo, her shoulders relaxing as she soon could breathe again. Her ears perked at what Addison may say that would decide her fate. She sighed in relief when she heard she was going home. She stole another glance at the retreating lion before smirking at the cheetah, "Sorry, but I think I prefer stripes." she thought she knew the way home, but understood that this was their home, and of course these creatures would take extra precautions to make sure Josie left. "Lead the way." she murmured, her eyes narrowed against the sun.

Addison dipped her head to Aurora, sending her a mental message, "Of course not. The fewer animals, the better. And Amille is a healer." she glanced pointedly at the okapi at her last word, before returning her gaze to the leopard, "-Not a scout or hunter. We need her to be able to heal the injured, but she can't do that when she is healing herself from a silly misunderstanding." she explained in a strangely soft voice, "So, Leo and I will catch up... This shouldn't take too long." she stared at Aurora, almost daring her to have second thoughts of doing what she was told. The alpha was more stand-offish than she probably needed to be, but that was the only way she knew to get her pack to listen... To keep them alive and safe. With a small sigh she watched Leo pace around the human, a small smirk creeping up at the tips of her maw until she saw he wasn't trying to be threatening. With a playful frown at him, Addison stood and stretched, contemplating what they should do with her. "We'll let her go." she mewed bluntly, taking her bored gaze to travel down Josie's small frame. With an eyeroll she added with a menacing growl, "Tell anyone and this won't be the last of us. Next time we'll be less - compliant." she purred in a sickly sweet way, a glance to Leo. "Could you show her the way back towards the human village... Just, don't get too close." Addison told him telepathically, a frown knitting her brows together. The lioness stood and paced for a few heartbeats before looking back up at Leo and bounding in the opposite direction, leaving him to do his duty.

Aurora took in a deep breath before nodding towards the female alpha. "Okay, let's go Amille." She picked up the game bag in her mouth and looked towards Leonardo. "Don't be long." Aurora turned to face Amille and gave her a sympathetic look before leading the way. She knew that Amille must hate being treated like a weakling, and that she could get hurt by a human. Aurora though wasn't going to stay any longer, and wished for a deep sleep.
