Letting the cup slip her finders, if she was not quick to react, the tea would have spilled all over the table when her brother pulled her by the hand and led her away. It was slightly startling, but Haze was excited. Her smile expressed her apparent happiness, which came from seeing how enthusiastic Daisuke was. As always, he was ready to do everything on the spot if it seemed like a fun idea to him. That spirit which burned in flames so wild and warm was her only light in this dark dark world she was forced to live in since birth. It made is so that all the shadows of reality existed only in books. What made her twitch a bit was the sudden coldness that came from the little cracks in the wood as they stopped at the door. A slight blush appeared from the temperature change as her brother asked her the question. She really wanted to hide it, but her already red cheeks and shivering feet made it obvious that she was cold. The mention of the old coat from around ten years ago left the girl with mixed feelings. It was nice and warm, plus it had her brother's scent, however, it was heavy and smelled of other unpleasant, unfamiliar smells that her sibling described as "the stench of the front-line that has soaked in". All the bad points the lass could bear with, but there was one thing that was displeasing. That was the hectic search that became somewhat a treasure hunt when trying to find the coat or similar things that were not used for a long period of time, which can range from years to merely a week in this case, by her brother.
"N-No need!" she quickly replied "But, onii-san, wouldn't we need mittens? Your hands will bleed again from the cold if you don't."
[I actually looked it up on the Internet. It says nee-chan and nii-chan and such are only used when addressing older siblings. Haze is younger so shouldn't Dai call her imouto ?]
"Yes, please. I'd like only honey, though. " the long-haired girl said with a smile. After taking another bite, she spoke once more "Will you be having classes with anyone today? I'm looking forward to my Latin, but I can't skip on my own mother, now, can I?" she chuckled.
[I'm stuck here o.O The muse for Amaya is just not coming, it seems. ]
