Rin handed Pallon his plate, "Whats astronomically stupid"? She went over to Balon's saddle and sat gingerly, trying not to spill her food.

Kalten thanked Nianna for the food and set the plate on the ground, wrapping his legs around it as a protective barrier as he saw Degger appear instantly.

De'sha rolled onto her back and yawned.

Pallon took the plate with a chuckle. "That would be the thought of me going rattle snake hunting."

Nianna smiled at Kalten's protection of his food. She went and sat next to Rin. Degger curling around her acting like a back rest, she gave him a small piece of scrap before taking a bite for herself.

Rin nodded as she swallowed her first bite, "No, no, no that beyond astronomically stupid, that's a universal stupidity.... should I ask where this idea came from"? She looked at Kalten as he scarfed his food.

Kalten looked up momentarily before swallowing and wiping his mouth with his shirt sleeve, "Jasnah killed a rattler while I was collecting wood and De'sha thought it was the best toy ever". He pointed to the chewed up bit of snake sitting by the fires base.

De'sha wagged her tail a few times at the sound of her name. She rested her head on Pallon's lap and looked at him pleadingly.

Pallon chuckled. "Told ya, Kalten." He looked down at Desha and shook his head. He gave her a scrap and tossed one to Jasnah.

Nianna giggled as she listened and ate, feeding Degger a scrap every now and then.

Kalten was finished with his meal by now. He whistled and called De'sha over, folding his legs again and placing the plate in front of him before leaning back on the saddle with his arms behind his head.

De'sha caught the morsel in mid-air. She licked her lips as she twisted onto her feet and trotted to the plate Kalten offered, licking it clean.

Rin giggled, "You're smarter than you give yourself credit for most of the time though". She smiled at Pallon before taking another bite and looking at Kalten, "If you make my girl like this chunk, I'm making you run her every night". She patted Deggers hind end and scratched his leg.

Pallon shrugged, taking another bite of food. "Matter of opinion Sweetheart."

Degger whined and then grumbled happily at being scratched.

Nianna chuckled as she finished her food and gave Degger the plate. "He might be a chunk, but he still gets around."

Rin finished the last of her food, "That he does, and I won't fault him for a few pounds if he knows how to throw them". She leaned onto all fours and placed the plate in front of Jasnah. She scooped De'sha into her arms on her way back and chuckled, "What happened to my baby? You can barely fit in my arms anymore".

Kalten yawned and stood, "I suppose I should start my watch". He walked off and around the parameter.

De'sha didn't protest as she was pulled into Rin's lap. She licked he air right in front of Rin's face as her stomach was scratched.

Jasnah licked the plate happily.

Nianna smiled. "Thats what babies do. They get big, and apparently far too quickly." She stood, and there was a slightly distracted look in her eyes. "I'm going to go for a walk before it gets too much darker." She started to walk away. She had taken to going for a walk after dinner over a week ago, after she had had food poisoning, which resulted in Tovheir not being allowed to cook for them sense. Degger followed Nianna suddenly looking serious.

Pallon watched Kalten go and then Nianna. He gave Rin a questioning look. "Anything about that strike you as strange?"

"Besides every bit of it"? Rin replied, watching Nianna go, "Maybe she's not feeling well again, should I go check on her"? She let De'sha go and the pup curled into a ball against her.

Kalten was looking about the camp and it's many smaller fires. He felt the sheathed daggers across his chest and pushed on, being mindful of his foot placing in the tall grass.

"Thats what I thought." Pallon nodded. "Just to be safe..."

Nianna vanished into the forest with Degger.

Wolf hung upside down from the tree above Kalten. He grinned evilly.
