Rin smiled back at Pallon before heading over and jumping into Balon's saddle.

Kalten turned the mare behind Balon again and rubbed her neck as they waited to leave.

Pallon sat backwords in his saddle, and was laying against Falcons neck as the horse walked. His eyes were closed and had dark rings under them. The cut he had recieved from the assassins was healed but the blade had been laced with a mild poison, which was now almost worked out of his system, being three weeks after the attack.

Tovheir was still in the lead, but Taivil and Nianna had joined him and let Pallon fall back to the center of the group.

Bear still walked with Siren, but he too seemed to be asleep.

Avian rode just behind Siren and Bear. Ayrian slept in his arms and he couldnt hide the small smile on his face.

With the sun setting they had sent wolf and Nick on ahead to scout for a place to set up camp.

Rin looked ahead as Kalten sat in front of her in the saddle. He was fast asleep and leaning on her, his horse tied to the saddle horn and walked next to them. The past few weeks hadnt been as bad for her as she had thought, her body quickly conforming back to sleeping on the ground, but it was taking its tole on the young boy who refused to sleep at night to keep watch over them. She looked to Pallon as he rested, a familiar worried pang hit her heart, but she quickly waved it off.

Kalten nestled into Rin's chest as he shifted in his sleep.

Pallon opened one eye and looked at Rin. He smiled at her sleepily.

Nick came galloping back to them on Seer. He slowed to meet them. "Theres a clearing just ahead that looks like a good spot for a camp. Wolf is checking the area."

Tovheir nodded, and a few of the guards gave a light and sleepy cheer. Those were the guards that had been awake since before dawn.

Kaiya blinked, looking at him a bit surprised, as Celian began licking at her fur".. was a good experience of going there? Or bad?"

Rin grinned back at him and leaned over carefully so as not to disturb Kalten. She passed a gentle hand over Pallon's eyes, making him close them. "Quit looking at me and go back to sleep. The more you get the faster you get over your illness" she whispered to him softly.

Kalten peaked an eye open and mumbled groggily, "Five more minutes". He yawned and fell back asleep, making Rin chuckle and hug him.

Pallon half laughed. "I feel like I've been sleeping the entire time weve been on the road. Well that or puking my guts out. I need to do something other than be a lump on a log."

Gransi, now standing on Cass's shoulder let out a loud call, making everyone that had been sleeping wake groan in protest or curse at the bird. The bird had made it his personal job to do that whenever they were getting near a place to stop.

Rin jumped slightly as Kalten shot up in front of her looking about wildly. She patted his back as he slumped in the saddle and looked back to Pallon. "You've been very helpful, I've never had a more comfortable pillow" she cooed, "and you'll be of more use at full health instead of trying to stumble through a job".

Kalten was muttering curses under his breathe as he rubbed his eyes, "I used to like that bird".

Pallon was one of them that cursed the bird. He looked at Rin. "And I love being your pillow, but I feel like I'm letting the others down."

Bear still looked asleep as Troubadour came up to walk with them. "I'm going to kill that pompus chicken. Who feels like having bird tonight?"

"You took a poisoned dagger, I think they'll understand" Rin raised a brow and smiled. She looked at Bear and replied flatly, "I want to say you wouldn't but I know better by now".

Kalten looked at Bear with a wicked grin and began to laugh maliciously which earned him a poke in the side from Rin. He squirmed and smiled sheepishly.
