Leaning over the desk, the old man fumbled through the files and charges, those if the nurses he had fired so long ago, thrown away due to lack of respect and simple idiocy. Flipping an image out, he held it up to the light. An eighteen year old girl, her eyes bleak, hardened as they faced the camera, bits of black hair fallen infront of her face. "...Ah, Cathimore. This one? Charged her a fine of $38,000,000 for killing you, and kicked her out of her home, her job. Quite a suitable punishment, eh? Even considered getting rid of her completely, but you know protocol. Can't go about killing humans, now can we? Anyway, thus nuisance has actually come to use. We ID and tag all of our staff, including a tracker given stiffly to the back of the neck. See, you may have Emily somewhat in threat, but I hold your whole camp at bay. I know where you are, Ember...just be lucky I haven't informed the other doctors. You touch my daughter, and I'll release 7-3 on spot. She closed her eyes for one soft, daring moment, sucking in a sharp breath as she raised a tentative finger to her lips, sighing. The first kiss, and probably the last if you can't keep your head, she scolded herself, nodding slowly and doing her best to hide her blush as she glanced over at Jax and Alex. "...Well, now what?" She whispered quietly, cocking an eyebrow with curiousity. The howl Ember had gave right before he dove into the industry left an errie feeling deep inside of her, a bitter sweet goodbye that seemed to settle down at the pit of her stomach, a promise, a love...funny to think the guy was probably being chained up, tortured, right that very moment.

She looked inside the cabin "Ben" she though. She knew he had done it to save his family but still why was he here again? She flew low until she reached the door of the cabin. She shifted back and knocked softly "Ben" she looked around to see that nobody was there and took a few steps back, she could forgive but not forget.

He started re-organising the camp. The campers had been in chaos since they left, he orderes things and went back to Nore as his leg was hurting badly "Nore? I need your help" he said in a weak voice. He couldn't stop thinking of Ember and him being alone in the Industry he wanted to go but Ember had told him specificly not to come.

She sighted "Let's go back to camp then" she started walking back to camp slowly with Logan to her side "Do you think they are OK?" she asked softly, "I mean the campers" she had been thinking about that for a while, both Jax and Ember had left so there would probably be a massive chaos

He nodded "Yes sir" he said and went back to the room to try the experiment. Again he was wondering what made Alex different to the others he didn't know but he was going to discover that was his new goal and it would not be easy to achieve but he would have Alex back at the Industry and discover what made her different.

Leaning forward the man narrowed his eyes his hands gripping the armrests uncomfortably.Ember wanted to scream.To kick to snarl and to rip out this mans throat.He wanted him dead but he knew he needed him alive.Slumping back he stayed silent for a long moment his eyes burning in hatred "Crystal." he growled his nails digging into the expensive wood."But answer me this,What happens if lets say a human comes in contact with your poison hmm? "he asked coolly "Because to gas such as 7-3 a host is a host,snifter or not they still process the part of the brain that can make the human body transform.If anything it would most likely kill them right? I thought so. Now imagine if a certain little girl was in the exposure radius of the camp.Why that would put us at a stalemate wouldn't it?"he asked simply

[Emily Harthor- with Ben and Alex]
Giving a squeak of fright Emily backed away staring at the knife buried in the wall.The sudden dangerous action scared her.Such violence always did whether it was aimed at her or someone else.Whimpering Emily shook her head tearing up.wiping her eyes after a minute she slowly inched her way to Ben and crawled up onto the bed beside him before throwing her arms around him,or trying to.Giving him the best hug she could give she whimpered softly "Its okay Benny don't be upset..."she murmured softly her voice small as she hugged the giant and ruddy man."I've never met anyone named Ember but he cant be as good a bubby as you are!" She said happily and giving him a quick peck on the cheek she jumped off the bed and scampered over to the door as someone knocked.Reaching up she grabbed the handle and with all the power she could dragged open the giant door. Peeking through the crack in the door she pried it the rest of the way open "Benny there's a pretty girl outside!"she called staring up at Alex with a warm smile.Her bright amber eyes gleaming with love and kindness. "I'm Emily whats your name?"she asked with an excited little bounce.

Pushing aside the crimson cloth that stood as her cabins door Nore looked Jax up an down before tilting her head. Something was very wrong. "Come on inside honey."she murmured simply helping him inside the room.Unlike normal the room was clutter free.Books were closed and pressed against the far walls making the room seem a lot bigger then normal.a few dozen extra bed were laid out in neat rows and each one had a matching set of folded pillows and blankets.a little ways away the fireplace burned hot sending a warm breeze in the cabin.Of course about six of the beds were taken three men two women and a child occupied them.Most of the men had been hurt from the rescue.The woman had fallen down a steep hill when they were collecting water and the child was sleeping.deathly ill with a fever and a cold sweat. "I've been quite busy lately."she murmured helping him onto one of the beds.Kneeling down she brushed the hair away from his face and started taking his vitals "Your aura is black Jax.Nervious and worry clouding it. What happened?"

He cracked a grin of amusement, his hands grasping a clip board as he fumbled through the pages. Gesturing to the diagrams and marking strewn across his notes, jagged pencil marks and letterings highlighted in a red marker, the old man nodded. "-Ah, Ember, we've considered that long, long ago. See, there's quite a vivid difference between a shifter and a human~ you seem to have a different body all in whole. Take a look for yourself my boy, this is the brain activity recorded from one of our most recent and successful patients. See how her left lobe is altered? It's much more complex, and takes in several more chemicals than a human could possibly imagine. Your senses are ultimately heightened, allowing shifter's as yourself to smell more, see more, hear more...due most likely to the fact that your combined with two. 7-3 is desighned to attack the specific reign of your left side- for us humans, we'd only encounter a deep headache from the thickness in the air. Our bodies aren't effected," he chuckled lightly, his eyes glimmering with a sense of aged triumph, as though finding his own intelligence amusing.

I will get my daughter unharmed, and hopefully even gain a lost son along the way," his voice broke off into a hoarse whisper, a deep feeling now settling at the pit of his stomach as he adjusted his specticles, tightening his collar. Ember took the file and flipped through the pages and for half a second he was impressed.Just half a second.Putting the file back down on the desk he shifted in his chair and sat back folding his hands neatly in his lap "I will be happy to leave.The minute i have the photo the necklace,and the recipes of my choice."he said blankly his Amber eyes vile "You didn't think i would forget about those did you?"he asked his nails clicking "And if you havn't figured it out by now i will never come crawling back to you.I am not your son i am my mothers and i will happily join her in the dead then come back to you in the living."he said simply before standing and walking to the wolf in the corner his hand feeling over its fur.The touch made his wolf spit in rage but outwardly he showed no emotion

She stared at the little girl shocked for a second. When she realized that the girl had asked her a question she gave a warm smile and stepped forward "I'm Alex nice to meet you Emily, you're the pretty one by the way" she said looking at her, and she was pretty indeed "I'm a friend of Ben's" she said looking at the girl sweetly

He sighted "Lot's of things are happening Nore. He stared at her for a while "I'm worried about Ember" he couldn't tell her about his secret so he made something up "He's been quite shocked since he went back to the Industry" he said softly

He gritted his teeth, his aged Amber eyes flickering with the slightest sense if emotion before he gave a rough shake of his head, dipping over the side of the desk and sliding open a drawer. The little silver chain glinted in his eye, the necklace rested finely on a velvet cushon, it's jewels glimmering with that long sense of memories. Sighing, the old man grabbed it into his hands, his heart aching as he lifted up the heavy book of recipes. A soft wisp of air seethed through his lips as he hardened, taking out his wallet from his back pocket. His callused fingers fumbled with the deer leather, sliding out a neatly cut photo of Juliette, a little boy in her arms as she stood in the middle of that silly garden, the sun radiant behind them. Twisting the photo in his hands, Ares turned, striding up to Ember with heavy steps. For a moment his bitter gaze lingered over the stuffed wolf, it's eyes hazy- still lingering with that taste of horror, fear. Shrugging, Harthor handed over the necklace and recipes, though the picture seemed more reluctant, more tender- seven long, aching years. Just out the window.
-"Fine. Leave," he growled roughly, his eyes fuming with bitter hatred as he thrust the photo into his boy's hands.
