Marie was not taking no for an answer, "Come here." Marie grabbed Klink's arm and looked at the large gash. It didn't look like it hit anything important, but the blood loss was getting to Klink. She was going to pass out in the cold soon. "C'mon. We need to get you somewhere safe while you're still awake. When you pass out, I'm not going to be able to carry you," Marie stated and attempted to get Klink standing.

"I can do this myself Marie," Se said, but her body was doing the opposite. She hovled up, but almost fell over. She couldn't stand on her own anymore.

Marie allowed Klink to lean on her as she helped her stand. Marie picked Klink's bag in the process, "We need to get you back to the shelter. You'll be safe there and I can actually help you. How do you feel right now?"

"As I said, I'm fine." She started to Slur her words a bit, and tried to stand by herself but ended up just falling back to Marie.

"How did you hurt your arm?" Marie asked. She had to get as much information out of Klink as she could while she was still conscious. Marie began slowly trudging towards the base again.

Everyone went on their way, Damien would actually be in capable hands which was a relief.
Kyle left the others behind and went about his way. More beasties would come sooner or later to investigate all the commotion, so it was in his best interest to do likewise and move on.
Kyle hiked along the roads passing by a burnt out shell of a chemist along the way. It looked like there'd been a gas leak or raiders had just decided to do something destructive for kicks and got a bit too carried away. Either way there could still be something of value amoungst the mess, so he sifted through the debre and managed to salvage some stuff that would come in handy down the track.

"I was too close to the blast and ended up getting an ice shade from the beast in my arm." she slurred. "I pulled it out and started wrapping it, but it was deeper than I expected. I also got a bit interrupted. Speaking of interrupted, there are two people missing. We need to help find them." Klink tried to start walking back to the town, she was no longer thinking straight.

Marie overpowered Klink in her trek back to town, "We can look for them later. I think one of the people that was in the building was going to find them. Right now, I need to get you patched up. C'mon." Marie continued to trudge through some of the deeper snow, hoping Klink wouldn't trip.

"Oh, ok." she gave, "But we are gonna help them later right? I wanna help them later." She made a mental note to help 2 twin girls later.

"Of course," Marie faked a smile. She knew those girls could have possibly been killed in the attack, but she couldn't focus on that right now. She had to worry about Klink. She opened the doors to the base, surprised to still see Damien patched up at the table, "Pierre, get the medical kit. This is an emergency." She laid Klink on the floor of the base, carefully. Marie then removed her coat and used it to raise Klink's injured arm above her heart. She then got up to close the bunker door as Pierre came in with a box that looked similar to a first aid kit.
"Wha-" Pierre almost dropped the case, "What the h**l happened to her?"
Marie walked over to Pierre and took the medical kit, "She got hit by snow beast shrapnel." Marie then moved over to Klink and kneeled next to her. She opened the medical kit to find several supplies that hospitals would have regularly stocked. Marie rolled up both her own sleeves and Klink's sleeve on her injured arm. It looked much worse without the sleeve covering most of her arm up. Luckily, there was nothing important injured, much like Marie originally thought but the blood-loss she suffered was at fault in Klink's case. "Are you still there Klink?" Marie asked.
