"I could be a vegetarian." Blakley huffed, before laughing at the thought, shaking his head. "But, I'm not so, keep that in mind, yeah?" He would continue to do this, promise the girl safety, and also threaten to take away the safety at any moment. He liked playing games, and for once he had found a human who hadn't cowered down at the sight of him. It intrigued him, he wanted to find out more about this human. At the comment of the blood on his shirt Blakley scrunched his nose up in disgust, using his free hand to run across the stain, a soft frown on his lips. "Ah, hell, I thought I'd grown out of being a messy eater, I guess not." He shrugged, squeezing Aika's hand, sending her a toothy grin. He had promised not to kill her, but, death seemed easy compared to the other things he could do.
"No use in pitying the dead. I don't let my meals life." It was true, but he didn't really brag about it, wasting a human life every time he ate, he wasn't proud of it. He simply liked scaring the female. "Listen, Rabbit, I'm going to give you a choice. Would you rather go to my place, or to the king?"

Alex was making her way through the town, noting how empty the streets were, strange. The bloodsuckers must have been hunting, she wasn't afraid of them, though. Being the mischievous little devil she was, she'd spend the time other humans would spend hiding; stealing. Was it worth her life? Now. But it was her life, she couldn't survive if she didn't do it. She'd heard the horror stories, about the humans who broke the law, but what would they do, kill her? Sixteen or not, she had nothing to live for. Her bare feet padded silently as she headed down the almost barren markets, glancing over the multiple carts of foods, knick-knacks, jewelry, you name it. The owners were close by, always, but she was faster. Slowly but surely she scanned a food cart before quickly grabbing an apple, and a bunch of grapes and a small loaf of bread all but shoving them in her bag, pushing her heels into the dirt to give herself speed as she ran into a nearby alley her blackish hair flailing in the wind behind her.
