Boo let out an excited noise and cuddled the small cat, finding a sweet spot under her chin. ''I've been wanting another pet since my sweet Monty passed, he was such a sweet little snake,'' she frowned remembering her past pet. ''Cloud is a sweet name, suiting to such a little cutie.'' She smiled again, cooing at the sweet cat before giving her back. ''Are you new here? I've only been here for a month.''

"Im sorry about your snake..." I said to her. "Hey, maybe you can adopt a pet at our clinic! We get new babes all the time that need our care, but afterwards we keep them there instead of sending them to the shelter. We have dogs and cats and hamsters and pretty much everything, to be honest" I said, wagging my tail a little. I took Cloud back, and thanked Boo for complementing my cat. "I just got here today" I said. "So im like really new" I laughed.

Barely picking up the soft voice of the girl in front of him, he opened his mouth to answer just as the other new student with the rainbow beanie shyly approached them. " Uh- hey. Gimme a second real quick " Hoping he didn't sound too off putting, he turned his attention back to the short girl and tried to give a detailed direction towards the cafe. "... if you end up getting confused again, just look for a huge building, kinda looks like a church but not really. Or actually if you could wait a few minutes, I think several of us are gonna head down to the cafe for lunch very soon." He didn't actually want her to think he was inviting her to lunch with him, gods no, but he also didn't want to be responsible for a student who gets lost on campus the first day of school. His friends would definitely laugh at him if that.

Not waiting for an answer, he turned around to meet the girl with the rainbow beanie. " Welcome to OWL, how can I help you? " Yup, second time was much better at sounding casual.

She smiled at the pretty girl her ears twitching at the word cafe. She could really go for a coffee and some food right now. She waited patiently, listening carefully while he gave her directions. She's need to remember how to get to the cafe so she could go after she dropped her stuff off in her dorm. Her tail swayed nervously when the boy turned to her. "Uhm I seem to be a bit lost. Im not sure where my dorm is to be honest." She held out a piece of paper with her dorm number written on it. "Do you think you could help? I mean if its not too much trouble. I dont want to be a bother! I'm sure I can keep looking on my own." She clutched her bag tighter against her chest, feeling like a complete idiot.

Aster cocked her head as the RA gave instructions on how to get to the cafe. They seemed pretty straight forward to her, nothing too complex. She began to blush slightly as he invited to to come along with him and his friends but with a small shake of her head she declined. "No thank you... i don't think I could handle that right now." She replied her eyes averting only to catch on the paper the girl was holding out.

"Oh, that room is right next to mine... I... I can show you if you want." As she spoke her eyes moved to the German Shepards. She hoped she wasn't being intrusive but she could handle one stranger compared to many.

Checking out the piece of paper that she held out, Jay opened his mouth to answer but was soon cut off by the student he just helped out. "Great, so uh, if you are comfortable I guess she can show you where your room is? And of course feel free to ask me any other questions that may arise, both of you guys are on the co-ed floor that I manage so we'll see each other around often." Hoping that he sounded as friendly as he could be - Jay quickly added on a small detail he forgot to mention. " And... I'm Jay by the way. I think I forgot to mention that." Giving an awkward little laughter, Jay ran his hand through his hair mechanically... he wasn't use to holding a normal conversation without pulling someone's leg for so long.

Tripp's eyes met the girl's and she smiled. Her tail wagged slightly as she nodded "Alright sure! I wouldn't mind that." She said happily. She wasnt used to being around people but she did ok with talking for the most part. She tilted her head a bit at Jay "I'm Tripp. It's nice to meet you." This boy was nice, someone she wouldn't mind having as a friend. She turned back to the pretty girl "May I ask you name?" She ask loosening the grip on her bag a little. She held her bag close when she was nervous as it contained what she loved most, her laptop and drawing supplies.
