Marco glanced over a girl and noticed her stealing. He walked over the the same stand she was at and picked up some fruits and glared at her but then set them back down. "You know stealing is wrong?" He told her making sure the clerk didn't hear.

Jian followed and nodded at the maid then looked at Eliza. "It's no problem." He said smiling and set down his cane beside a chair then sat down. He crossed his legs and relit one of the candles beside him that had went out. Auto laid down beside his chair panting softly. Jian looked back over at Eliza "She'll patch you up quick." He said smiling softly.

"Some of us don't have another choice," Serene spoke softly. She was fearful that the man would turn her in, so she was careful what she said. "Your rich, you have options. I don't." Crossing her arms, she watched him, prepared for him to tell the clerk.

Marco arched a eyebrow then looked at the clerk thinking for a moment. He reached in his pocket and flicked a golden coin to him. Marco grabbed two apples and slid them in his pockets. He thought he should be a little kinder like Jian but it wouldn't last long. "Don't think this will happen again. If I catch you again. I'll tell." He said fixing his gloves then looked at his pocket watch.

Jian saw her leaving "Are you sure? Your not intruding trust me it gets boring in this big old house." He said standing up. The maids all watched her then looked at Jian. He flicked his wrist and the began to go back to work cleaning and some ran off to the kitchen to begin making lunch.
