xxxxRoxy emerged from behind the curtains, a smile on her face. She had checked her reflection in the polished brass leaning up against the tent, and found the dress stunning. Arranging the sash to fall over her left shoulder, Roxy opened her mouth to ask Hikaru how it looked when Jacques made the accoutrement. It seemed they were performing after all!
Quickly checking her braid, she deemed it was too late to redo it and left it as is, turning to grab Hikaru's arm. "Come on, it's going to start soon! You might as well get ready, Jacques may fit you in at the end if there's time." On their way out of supplies tent, Roxy picked up her hand-held harp. Her voice alone was mesmerizing enough, but it was also nice to half musical accompaniment. Plus, it kept hunters from becoming too suspicious. Excited mummers from the crowd were already audible from behind the tent, and Roxy turned to flash Hikaru a grin. By the sound if it, Ember was the first act, and she was doing brilliantly. Thunderous applause began to resound as she exited to the side, soon approached by an older and younger boy.
Roxy dropped Hikaru's arm and whispered, "Wish me luck - I'm up next." Slipping through the curtain, she sat on a chair that had already been brought out and set the harp on her lap. The audience, still talking among themselves about Ember's act, soon quieted at the sight of another performer, shifting as they waited for it to begin. Roxy took a deep breath, gathering her thoughts, and began to sing.
'Insbruck, ich muß dich laßen
ich far dohin mein straßen,
in fremde land dohin,
mein freud ist mir genomen,
die ich nit weiß bekummen,
wo ich im elend bin.

Groß leid muß ich jetzt tragen,
das ich allein thu klagen
dem liebsten bulen mein.

im herzen dein erbarmen,
daß ich muß von dannen sein.

Mein trost ob allen weiben,
dein tu ich ewig bleiben,

The effect on those listening was stunning. All movement ceased and those listening appeared unable to do anything but listen to her words and harp, some even appeared on the point of drowsiness. As the last line faded away, Roxy stood up, curtsying gracefully in her gown, and quietly left the stage, appearing once more in the back. She went a little away from Ember, in case others wanted to speak to her or request a song.

Rebecca-Power: Art comes to life-Talking to: None

I watched as the next girl came out with a harp and started singing. Her voice was truly amazing. I wish that I had that kind of courage and talent to perform in front of everyone. After her performance, I took out my notepad and pencil and started drawing. I wanted to remember all of the acts that I see today so I could tell my brother in my next letter to him. I drew a picture of the first girl's baton on fire and then of the second girl's harp. The drawings wouldn't come to life unless I said the word activate so I knew that no one would be suspicious. Then, I looked towards the entrance of the circus where my horse waited outside. I knew that I couldn't keep him, but I didn't just want to abandon him after I drew him in the first place. I don't know what I'm going to do with him, but I'll deal with that problem later. I turned my attention back towards the show.

She saw a little girl out of the corner of her eye, but when she looked at her directly she couldnt see her. She smiled at todd and winked at sarah to let her know she had seen her. "Hi todd and sarah." she turned to alex. "And you are?"

Midas
"Dont come back without a good report." he groweld. The hunters had gone without a sighting for months now, but he knew they were out there somewhere.
