She gave a smile and followed behind him. Crystal wanted to spend all the time she possibly had , with him. But her curiosity was also getting to the best of her. She too wanted to know what was up the lake. Crystal has never been to the lake in particular and she thought it would be fun to explore also. Crystal walked beside Victor the entire time.

Victor held her hand in his as they walked, he looked around at their surroundings, mainly her side so he could see her. he noticed a rose in the ground and as they walked by he bent down and cut it from the ground with his knife, then present it to Crystal "a beautiful rose for m'lady?"

She placed a hand on her chest as she looked at the rose. A smile grew across her face. "Thank you kind sir." she said and lightly took the rose. Crystal held the rose in her hands ever so carefully as if it was made of the most fragile glass. She then looked up at Victor and smiled in thanks.

{ perhaps you can supply a post about Azure being sent by.. say, the king, as the two of them do not normally have guards trailing them. they believe the palace is safe enough. }

Azure walked up to the prince and princess, he bowed respectivly "Sir, madam, I am Sir Azure, head of the Elyadon Knights. I heard what happened to Prince Aiden and am here under Sir Tyler's suggestion to provide you with protection until the assassin is caught, and the area is proven safe"

The prince paused at the threshold of the kitchen upon exiting. A young man about his age or so bowed before him, introducing himself with some interesting name, but not one that he would remember. Kaleb wasn't so great at names. He knew Sir Tyler as the head knight of Avalon. He was a very well-mannered man, fine in the seat of command. But this was one knight he hadn't seen before. He was either new or from Elyadon. Kaleb turned and raised an eyebrow at Serena before facing the knight and replying. "I doubt we will be in any need of protection. This is the Avalon Palace, one of the most secure buildings in the kingdom. One of the two." The prince cautiously rearranged his fingertips on the ridge of the hot bowl he held, his fingers had begun to heat up. The knight was blocking the exit way. "But you are free to follow us around if you so wish. And you may protect the princess and me from any dangers that may happen upon on our way to my chambers," Kaleb said, a bit of a challenge in his eyes. He didn't exactly want nor need any guard, and he was sure he could protect Rena on his own.

Nick grinned. He took a step forward and wobbled, his head spinning suddenly. Grabbing onto the table he steadied himself. "I'm fine, don't worry." Nick straightened himself out and looked towards Ferston with determination. "Let's go, I have a feeling that there is much to be solved in the Palace of Avalon tonight." Nick took an old, scruffy cloak that laid crumpled on the table and threw it over himself. Pulling the hood over his head, his fringe falling over his eye, Nick looked over at the old man and nodded. He strode towards the door and unbolted it, the large wooden door creaking as he pushed it open. Leaving the circular room, Nick stepped out into the cold. Looking ahead a few yards, he could see an old horse tied to a tree, sleeping. Nick walked over there swiftly and patted the horse, waking it up. The horse seemed to be in good shape, perhaps a little old but it was a fine horse and would get them to Avalon quite quickly.

57 - "Protector" - Avalon

"Aye, that there is Julius. He's a fine horse, he is. Well, let's get going. If you could, ahem, help me up." The older man attempted to hide his embarrassment with a stern mask. It only made his face more red. The ponies were usually around, but the last one had been eaten the night before by wolves and whatnot. Dreadful creatures, them wolves. The little man stood at approximately four feet and three inches, with a five inch scraggly beard. He had always boasted that his ancestors were dwarves and trolls, but no had believed him. Theses days all you had to believe in was the things you could see and touch.
