Her head jolted up, her eyes flickering with sudden shock, astonishment. "Ember, that guy may be your father...but he's...he's...just, just let me come with you," she whispered dryly, biting her lip.

He felt a small punch on his guts "Ember, you can't go in there, they'll kill you, ask Alex or someone else but you can't go back" he sighted "I know he's your father and all but for him you're nothing more than a shifter you're not his son" he was just saying the truth "You know I will be with you for everything you need but I can't let you go to your doom"

The blonde narrowed his eyes before looking away "I don't believe that is your decision Jax.You've been with me through and through.You know me better then anyone...But..If i have to go rouge and leave i will...I know what that man is andim not looking for affection. Im looking for answers and when i have them ill come back."he said blankly before turning and looking at Shay.Walking up to her he grabbed the back of her neck and kissed her.The taste was electric,warm,sweet,greedy.And just as soon as it happened it was over."If you follow me i will let them kill me Shay.May it be with torture or bullets. If I see your face near the industry i will not defend myself from their tests.The same goes for Jax,Alex,Nore,and god forbid it Ben."he growled out "Do you understand?"

Her back stiffened, the kiss unbelievable, having that sense of bitter pleasure, hunger...and then it was over, her breaths raw, shocked. She couldn't help but stare at him, closing her eyes for that one, riveting moment. A sick feeling settled down at the pit of her stomach, yearning for his touch, desperate for that feeling. She blinked, a soft wisp of air seething through her lips as she sighed, locking onto his eyes. "...I understand, Ember. Just, just don't get yourself killed. Not now, not like this."

Staring at her he smirked ""Not a scientist or doctor could kill me Shay.You should know that by now."he rasped turning and walking away.Stopping he turned to her and gave a warm smile "Im counting on you Shay...Keep everyone,Including this loon here from pulling some daring rescue and you will see me again.Oh and its best not to tell Alex ya? If she found out she would fly straight to the industry and id have to watch her tail to."he said with a light laugh though you see him trembling.Turning he shifted and stared at Her his cold Amber eyes gleaming as he threw his head up and howled before disappearing into the bushes.The howl was a familiar one to wolves.The sound of a warrior.A leader.A mate.The sound was a sad goodbye and a happy promise to return.
Bounding to the Industry he took down the two front guards and shifted waltzing through the front doors.Walking up to the receptionist he smiled "Hi Im here to see Dr.Harthor."he said with a crooked suicidal grin.
"Sure,Take a seat and ill tell him your here.May i have a name?"
"Ember Grey."he said simply and walked away sitting down in the lobby and picking up a magazine that was ironicly about wolves.

He narrowed his eyes, opening his mouth to say something before a knock rasped on the door behind them. Shaking his head in frustration, he yelled over his shoulder "-What is it? Can't you see I'm busy here?" A gaurd shook his head, his eyes submissive as he shrank back a little. "...Uh, um, there's someone here to see you, sir," the guard said skittishly. Cocking an eyebrow, the old man nodded.
"Fine, escort whoever it is to my office, I'll be there in a minute," he grumbled as the gaurd left, heading down the array of stairs after them.

Slipping into his Office he looked around.Walking around the desk he sank down in the plush leather chair and spun around in it slowly.Stopping after a second or two he leaned over and picked up a metal picture frame staring at an Amber eyed blonde little girl that looked around the age of 6.He stared at the photo for a long time He has a daughter... he thought silently before setting the picture frame down on the oak desk and leaning back. "I wonder how many times i played in here."he whispered softly.The office was no diffrent then it was when he was little.A scared old desk with a small stack of neat files and three pencils on the side.A coffee mug to the left a white Persian rug and two antique tables against the wall.A blue and white china vase held an array of white and crimson red flowers that reminded him to much of the color of blood and a small stress ball sat on a shelf.Across the room a large taxidermy black wolf made him shudder.It stared into space its golden eyes hazy from age but still just as captivating.It reminded him to much of Shay. Shaking his head he gritted his teeth and picked up a pencil twirling it in his fingers.
