Sebastian watched as his sister landed in their makeshift home. Flying through the hole in the wall, her black feathers glinted. Seb walked up the greet his younger sister, pulling into a hug. "Have fun trying out your new wings?" He asked with a knowing smile, his crimson eyes shining with excitement. Though they had their wings for their whole lives, the two were just discovering how to use and activate them. "Let's get ready for the day" he told his sister, before pulling the backpack off his back and leading her to the bathroom. Sebastian watched as his sister pulled off her own backpack, and placed it on the bathroom tiles. The two pulled their contacts from their bags and put them in. Seb turned to his sister, "how do I look?" he asked with a wink. "Your baby blues do shine!" Althaia responded with a laugh "and mine?". Seb looked into his sisters now green eyes, "Your eyes are like emeralds" he responded with a smile. "now let's go" Seb said to his sister, "I'll race you to the ground!" and with that, the 19 and 17 year old siblings grabbed their things and raced to the hole in the wall. In sync, the two jumped out of the window and began the grow out their wings. They had been staying on the 12th floor of an abandoned building, and at about the 5th floor, the pair stopped their decent and gently glided to the ground. Once on the concrete, the two retracted their claws, feathers and wings, before joining the foot traffic. The two now looked like normal teenagers, with all their mutations gone. The pair walked around aimlessly until Sebastian noticed something, a run down looking house. Seb elbowed his sister gently, "look, that place looks abandoned, let's check, If their is no one there, well borrow it" The two moved to the porch, and Sebastian knocked on the door. "hello? anyone home?"
