Horuss stuttered and backed up a bit when he hurt his hand "o-oh my ap-p-pologies, I didnt mean to hurt-" he backed up into a stand and knocked it over, he yelped in surprise and despair and leaned over to clean up "I'm so sorry!"
Vicky looked at him in concern, the last she had met Horus he hadn't been this clumsy, or this apologetic. Overly cheerful perhaps but he was different now, he was only giving polite smiles "Horuss.... are you alright?" the boy froze and looked at her, it was strange to see such a fearful look on a boy who looked like he could punch through a wall "I-I'm perfectly fine miss Garret, uh Vivian, uh! V-Vicky!!"

((I was just reading some of our old posts and I realised we left this general guy hanging in a tree by Nevers house and never went back for him XP))

'Oh great, another annoy the Ranger member. You'll be printing shirts soon.' Never said picking up a letter, 'Whats this?'
'Remember that general you left tied up? Yeah I'm cleaning up your mess.' She turned back to the boys. 'Seen a dragon yet?'

Never attempted to stop the flow of apologies, 'hay it's alright I was giving you a complement, if I had half the -.' His voice was drowned out by Horuss bull dozing into the stand, Never quickly knelt down helping the boy pick up the fallen wares. He suddenly glanced up at Vicky's words and then slowly looked back at Horuss picking up on his fear, 'You don't seem fine.' Never said concerned.

Horuss looked between them for a few moments and his shoulders slummped a little, the smile he'd been pushing mealting to a depressed frown "i-its nothing, you needent concern yourself with my troubles" Vickys eyes widened and she walked over to him "Horuss, I may not know you very well but in the time I have I've never seen you without a smile that could cure cancer, now I dont know what happened but for you to make that face something must seriosly be wrong" she tilted her head "if you wont talk to me have you been talking to Monica about it?" he looked at her in confusion for a moment "Monica?" then he seemed to realise something and shook his head "oh right, you havent been present for the past few weeks" he sighed "Miss Lejoin has been quite distant from out party as of late, I have tried to call her but she..." his grip tightened on the magasine in his hand "she ended the conversation after a few moments, said she was 'busy'"

Never felt as if he'd been plunged into the deep end of a pool, with only vague hints to go by. 'I'm going out on a limb here and guessing this all started when Monica's new boyfirend arrived?' He asked.
Súrion oversaw his companions actions from his perch on the counter, he could smell an adventure brewing.

Horuss tensed then went back to clearing things up "I'd rather not speak of the Makaras" once he made sure his face was out of view he wiped tears out from behind his glasses "I've tried to stay positive, or as Miss Monica once communicated to me through a set of enthusiastic mimes, 'crush all negitive emotions under a wave of positivity', but it has become rather difficult in recent weeks I must confess" he honestly felt like he was about to explode, things had been going wrong for him over most of the summer and he had very few places left to turn
Vicky looked at Never "what are you getting at?" she looked back at Horuss and sighed "I'm sure she'll come back soon"
