He was ready to start working. The horseshoes he'd already had made to fit were carefully stored away, and labeled so that they wouldn't go to the wrong horse. Being a farrier as well as the blacksmith around town wasn't always easy, but he enjoyed the work enough that it was worth it. The pay was fairly good too.
Blaise hummed to himself as he worked, the first customer of the day having arrived and he worked on fitting the horseshoes to the horse. He liked horses - he was always patient with them, and he tended to have a good way with them that made them calm while he worked with them.

Taking a small bag that he could use for storing the medicinal herbs - stuff like peppermint and lavender, among others - Artemis left the medical center, and headed out towards the forest. He hoped that he wouldn't be taking much longer than an hour, since he didn't really like having to spend too much time in the forest - it seemed a little too easy to get lost, but he made sure to pay close attention to where he was going. Artemis still wasn't too particularly happy about it, though.

He looked up as another dragon had approached him, and introduced herself. "My name's Varick." he replied, flapping his wings and taking off from the ground, so he was in the air as well. "I... only arrived recently to the area. I've heard tales of there being Dragon Riders, and had been hoping I had one." he explained.

Confused she looked at her with her violet colored eyes. She felt it’s presence getting closer and closer but she had to tell it, that she’d be fine.
Stay above. I’m going to talk to her about it. Her voice was slightly weary as she nodded her head, she heard Jörmungandr’s deep crisped growl sound in her brain. It’s hoping that she’d be coming out alive not dead.
“Do you have a dragon?” She questioned, curious about what the girls intentions were. “If so let me see her, and I’ll show you mine.” She attempted to persuade. Hoping that it’d work.

Moonstone:

I dipped my head to the new dragon in respect "nice to meet you Varick, and the tales are true. Me and my friend Dari have riders. I'm sure you could get one if you wanted"

Kimberly:

I pulled the girl inside my house and closed the door, making sure to lock it. I then turned towards the girl "What do you think you're doing! What if I hadn't been a dragon rider! You could have been killed for saying something like that!" I sighed "If you had guessed wrong and I hadn't been a dragon rider, you would have had severe consequences. Do you know how much this town hates dragons?" I looked outside "fine, I'll show you my dragon, but first I have to do some stuff around town, do you want to come?"

“I knew you were a dragon rider. I’m not stupid. I could smell a dragon scent on you.” She huffed, her eyes narrowing before she looked at the ground. “Only to follow.” Her voice was weary while she had a mental conversation the whole time with her dragon. “Also, if you guys did, my dragon would be at my rescue. It can sense my distress or if I’m in trouble.” Her voice was hard, with no emotion.

Flapping wings is all it could hear...well it was by itself. No other dragons but it was prepared to show itself to the person. But it still didn’t trust that person. Turning it’s massive narrow head around the surrounding area. Making sure that nothing saw it. Huffing lightly while it waited. Hovering to keep itself in the air. Ready to glide down to the meeting area. During the time it’s rider was walking with the person. It had a whole conversation with Jacaerys.

After he finished and was paid, Blaise waved off the customer, pleased with his work. He had a little bit more time before he was due another customer, so he figured he would just wait a while. After all, sometimes he got unexpected customers having an emergency because their horse threw a shoe or something. That was always... interesting.

Wandering a little deeper into the forest, Artemis looked around, a little confused. None of the usual places he gathered herbs had any left. Usually there were plenty. He wasn't too happy about having to venture further, but he knew he had to if he didn't want to go back empty handed. Still, Artemis mumbled to himself, complaining quietly about the situation.

He dipped his head back. Then, he perked up, happy about the tales being true. "Yes! That would be great." Varick replied. "Will your riders be visiting soon?" he asked. It was a rather exciting prospect for him.... Varick had always wanted to be a part of helping make peace between dragons and humans.

Kimberly:

"Alright, first I have to go to the market and then the blacksmith" I walked out the door, not looking back to see if the girl was following. I went to the barn and saddled Mickey. I then mounted him and rode down the road. I first stopped by the many rows of stands that formed the village market. I trotted behind the stands until I reached the forth one and then dropped off a bag of fresh lettuces from my garden "Hey Toni! How's business?" I asked to the man who I sold the lettuces to. He then sold them to other people. He handed me money for the lettuce and then replied "eh, ees fine, ah tomato complaint eer ah carrot complaint there" I then set off towards the blacksmith. I hopped off of Mickey when I got there and called to Blaise "Hey Blaise, you think you could make some more horseshoes for Mickey? These ones have worn down" I dropped a large bag of coins on the counter. My pal deserved the best. I rubbed Mickey's nose with my hand

"I assume that our riders will call us soon, you can come if you want. You can come see what it's like until you get a rider of your own"

He looked up when Kimberly arrived, then nodded. "Sure. They're already made, just need to fit them, bring him around." Blaise replied. He tended to have a more solemn, deep tone to his voice, and a calm exterior. He liked to work efficiently, though always made sure his clients - well, the horses - were comfortable.
Once everything was prepared, he got to work, carefully removing Mickey's worn down shoes and replacing them with the shiny new ones.

"Did I already come this way..?" Artemis murmured to himself, looking around the forest, trying to figure out where he was. Ah, wait, there was the usual path he took. Breathing a sigh of relief, he stepped back onto the path. The last thing he needed was to get lost out here. He'd managed to recently find a patch of lavender, but there wasn't a lot left. It looked like someone had tried to take as much as they could some time before.
