Jay put his arm around her to help her walk down the street and around the corner into a place were criminals hung out. Most of them were wanted for murder. The men saw Jay and started whispering among themselves. Most of them picked up a gun and aimed at Jay.

I focused on one of the tougher ones and started draining his life force. While doing that, I started started running and started attacking some with my hidden blade. When I was done, some were unconscious but most of them ran away. I sank to my knees because I used too much energy.

Jay grabbed a hold of one of the men, absorbing his life force. He brought the man to his knees and held him there for Kaitlyn.

"Thanks" I muttered I took some of his life force so that he went unconscious and probably wouldn't remember what happened to him. I got up "Er....can I live with you...I haven't had a home, I just took life forces and lived on the streets until somebody saw me and reported to the police and I got in prison for a month" I said, hoping it wasn't too weird to him. "Or I could just, live in your garage" I said.

"No, it's cool," Jay smiled, not thinking it was weird at all. "You can live with me if you want. I have an extra room in my apartment."

"Thanks" I said, I mean, it might be weird but at least I have a place to live. "Hey, do you know where I can get a job?" I asked. I didn't want him to pay for me, the least I could do is pay some of his rent.

"Dont worry about getting a job. Ill tell you a secret," he said and continued in a hushed voice. "My parents were the richest couple in the area before they died. So well.. you know how I said I had an apartment... well, it's more like a mansion.." he said, shyly waiting for her response..
